Chapter 11 - First Investigation

When Chris and Sky got to their desk, the latter brought out the case file, tossing it at the former.

"Huh? isn't this too big of a major case for the both of us?" Chris complained.

"Unlike you, i'm a veteran" Sky grumbled.

The case was actually simple. A chicken resturant was suspected to be illegally smuggling drugs to customers. Their jobs was to gather enough clues to warrant an arrest.

"What do you think of the case. I'm giving you the chance to air your views" Sky snorted.

"I think we should pose as employees and monitor the business from within. That would be pretty feasible right?" Chris recalled a cliche tactic used in almost every mystery thriller movies.

"Idiot. We are police detectives, not private ones" Sky rolled her eyes.

Chris wrinkled his brows. Private? police? weren't all detectives the same?

"Fine. You are just naturally stupid" Sky sighed, rubbing her temples.

"We are going to give that restaurant a swift look"
