The thunder rolled across the heavens.

Ethan's eyes remained fixed on the shattered crystal bead resting in the woman's palm.

The golden light pulsing from it felt familiar.

Too familiar.

As though a part of him had been separated from it long ago.

The woman knelt silently in the rain.

Her delicate shoulders trembled.

Tears continued streaming down her face.

"Your Majesty..."

Ethan frowned.

"Who are you?"

The woman looked up.

For a brief moment, shock flashed across her beautiful face.

Then sorrow replaced it.

"You truly don't remember."

Ethan's headache worsened.

Fragments of strange images flickered through his mind.

A battlefield of stars.

Broken worlds floating in darkness.

Countless warriors kneeling before a golden throne.

Then everything vanished again.

The woman carefully stood.

"My name is Luna."

"Luna?" Ethan repeated.

She nodded.

"I have searched for you for five years."

"Every realm."

"Every continent."

"Every forbidden land."

"And now I've finally found you."

Ethan stared at her.

Nothing she said made sense.

Five years?

Realms?

Forbidden lands?

She sounded insane.

Yet...

The crystal bead in her hand made his soul tremble.

"Who am I?" he asked.

Luna bit her lip.

A trace of pain appeared in her eyes.

"You were once the strongest existence in all Nine Realms."

"You ruled countless worlds."

"You stood above heaven itself."

"You were known as..."

Her voice suddenly stopped.

Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth.

Ethan's eyes widened.

"What happened?"

Luna wiped away the blood.

Fear appeared in her expression.

As though some invisible force had punished her.

"I cannot say your true name yet."

"If I do..."

"They will know."

"They?" Ethan asked.

Luna's gaze drifted toward the dark sky.

The fear in her eyes deepened.

"The ones who killed you."

Silence.

Rain poured harder.

Ethan felt a chill run down his spine.

Killed?

What was she talking about?

Luna slowly extended her hand.

The shattered crystal bead floated toward him.

"Take it."

The moment Ethan touched it—

BOOM!

Golden light exploded from the bead.

The world vanished.

Ethan found himself standing in endless darkness.

Countless stars surrounded him.

A massive golden throne floated before him.

The throne was empty.

Yet the moment he saw it—

His heart shook violently.

Because he knew.

That throne belonged to him.

Suddenly—

A scream echoed through the void.

"Protect His Majesty!"

Thousands of figures rushed forward.

Then came nine shadows.

Nine terrifying figures cloaked in divine light.

Each one radiated power capable of destroying worlds.

One of them raised a sword.

Another unleashed black flames.

Another shattered stars with a single punch.

The battlefield descended into chaos.

Blood filled the heavens.

Worlds collapsed.

Countless loyal followers died.

And on the throne...

A man sat calmly.

His face remained hidden.

But Ethan somehow knew.

That man was himself.

Then came betrayal.

The nine figures attacked simultaneously.

The throne shattered.

The universe screamed.

Everything exploded.

NO!

Ethan roared.

His eyes snapped open.

The vision vanished.

He stumbled backward, gasping for breath.

The crystal bead dissolved into golden particles and entered his chest.

A burning sensation spread through his entire body.

Crack.

Crack.

Crack.

Something inside him was awakening.

A dormant energy.

A forgotten power.

A broken cultivation path.

Luna's eyes filled with joy.

"It worked."

Ethan clenched his fists.

Golden energy flowed through his veins.

Though weak...

It was real.

For the first time in five years, he felt strength.

At that moment—

A black luxury car suddenly screeched to a stop nearby.

Several men jumped out.

All wearing expensive suits.

The leader pointed directly at Ethan.

"There he is!"

"That's the bastard who ruined Young Master King's plans!"

Ethan frowned.

"I don't know who you're talking about."

The leader sneered.

"You don't need to."

"Beat him!"

The men rushed forward.

Luna remained calm.

As though she wasn't worried in the slightest.

Ethan's instincts screamed.

Danger.

Yet something else awakened inside him.

A feeling older than memory itself.

A feeling that once commanded armies.

As the first attacker swung a steel baton—

Time seemed to slow.

A voice echoed deep within Ethan's soul.

A voice belonging to his former self.

"Watch carefully."

The attack arrived.

And for the first time since his rebirth...

The Sovereign moved.
