Blinked Into Another World

Chapter Two 

I ignored the annoying  looks and whispers, I have heard worse than this and I enjoy it when people fear me. 

Need to check my body, get my money and I’m out. They won’t see me again, there are a lot of territories out there. It’s high time , I move even though I will greatly miss fountain Nirvana. 

“Hey jerk!” I shouted at a young boy bullying his friend who immediately ran away when the bulky turned to look at me . 

“Where is the healer’s place?” I asked as all eyes were at him, the skinny tall boy winched and ran away without a backward glance. 

“Hmmm” I sighed looking around , a healer’s place shouldn’t be hard to find on my on. Edged Hector to go on as I moved into the heart of the city witch  was so busy with trading affair till our presence was noticed. 

The whispers continued , something is definitely wrong. With a  straight face, head held high and a sneering mean looking Hector we continued moving ignoring them. 

The city looks bigger than expected and it seems to be a market night. 

“A gold coin for whoever shows me the healer’s place “ I shouted and a young girl with twinkling eyes close to a linen trader’s  stalk made to point towards a direction but her mother I assumed ,beside her ,hit her hands as they turned back and briskly entered a hut . 

Weird. 

“Follow me” 

Even the horse turned around to look at the voice. Turned around to see a slender yet tall lady with a long bright blue clock, the colour of her yes  and two  swords crossed  draped on her back. 

“Nice swords” I motioned with a slight tilt of my head 

“The healer’s place is this way” she said with an air of authority. 

Righeld my horse and Hector as we turn around to follow her 

“It’s not allowed my lady , you shouldn’t trust or be helping a thing like that “ a bald huge man beside her said while the other bald one with a smaller built kept glaring at me , his hands on his sword. 

“He is a human and get out of my way “ she said as he nodded giving us way. That’s some badass woman right there, I almost said “thank you”. 

We followed her and her men behind as she led us to a rock built house the people giving us way  towards the west wing of the city. 

“Nana , you have patients… though they look quiet strong and healthy" she muttered going into the building and coming out with an old looking woman whose eyes almost popped out when she saw us. 

“They need help, don’t be scared. I’m here to protect you “ she whispered to her but growing in the woods with a bounty hunting job sharpened my senses. 

This got me curious, who is this lady ? 

“Come “ said the not so happy looking Nana as she motioned for me to come foward, Hector followed close behind  with a protective stance . 

“Knell” 

“What?! “ I shouted , I don’t knell to no body . The lady in blue cloak rolled her eyes at my reaction 

“Bend down and take off your clothes , she’s too short to reach you” 

Ohh,oh that. She nearly lost me at “take off your clothes” with that authoritative yet alluring voice. 

I took off my cloak ,sword in hand,turned and bend my back towards her. The short Nana hovered around me and touching my back when I heard a 

*crack* 

*crack* 

*crack* and just like that ,the pain was gone . Diasappered. 

I stood straight up and did a little jump, no pain. 

“That w* good” I said suprised and bringing out a gold coin from my bag.

The Nana’s eyes widened at the gold as she turned her head. 

“She doesn’t collect fees from humans “ said the lady with alluring voice . 

“Oh okay, but this is for my dog” I said pointing to an excited Hector wagging his tail. Alluring lady rolled her eyes ,took the gold from my hand ,gave Nana and whispered something in her ears. 

Mama looked displeased but urged Hector to come as she took a look at his wings with straight face ,went in and brought some ointment to apply on Hector. 

Hector looked visibly please too while the Nana muttered “Go away” on her way back to her rock building. 

“You owe me one “ I said looking at the lady in blue while her men starred down at me looking highly displeased giving me joy.

Is she the princess or queen around here? I have no city or place … so never heard the pleasure wolf interacting with royalties except when a dirt deal is involved. 

I was about to ask her ,her name at least rather than staring at how beautiful her boobs were popping out of her dark blue corset when Hector started barking loudly. 

I turned to see what’s wrong when I noticed the back of horses running towards the other side of town. 

“Those Idiots must pay me my money!” I shouted mounting on my horse as we chased them with Hector showing the lead. 

We chased them Ignoring the curses from carriage owners  whose  tomatoes and cabbages went flying for standing in our way! 

I have to teach these idiots a lesson, I cursed feeling so energetic when we come to a halt. 

This building looks like a palace with high architectural buildings and statue of different gods adorned the entire terrace. 

The doors were all shut and it looks like the messengers on the horses disappeared into thin air. 

Dropped down from my horse ,picked my bow and arrows and head towards the giant door that looks like it was made out of thousands of emeralds. 

If only I could lay my hands on this door and sell it, I will no longer need to be a bounty hunter. They are real gems, I know how to spot a fake especially when messengers think they can dope me. 

I knocked at the giant gate but it didn’t even make a sound and no one was around. 

I tried to push it open when my hands went through it! Darn ,what’s going on ? And within a blink I was behind the door …. Transported into a whole different world. 

“Where am I ?!”
