Tabitha's heart raced violently in her chest. The anger that suddenly arose within her obviously had no recipient. If it was any other day, she could probably rant to Carolene, but the woman in front of her, sitting with a wrinkle between her eyebrows and a tired expression mixed with her livid one, surely wasn't in the mood to hear her bullshit.

She cleared her throat and tried to work her way around her emotions, to be careful not to let Carolene's rage come upon her and to not let hers find comfort in Carolene.
