"What's this?" asked Darren again, looking surprised.

Darren then took his cellphone and took a photo of all the documents. He would save them.

With his hands still shaking, Darren returned to cleaning the room. He will still finish it, even though his mind is full of question marks.

"Why is there this document? What is the relationship?" Darren asked, still curious. He even looked at the documents he had photographed several times.

Darren finally finished his work this morning, and he returned to the place where they usually gathered after finishing all his work.

Darren looked back at the documents he had photographed earlier, and again he reflected on everything.

Daze was a company owned by his parents that they used to own, and all of that disappeared after the incident. And after that, it's all gone. Not only is Darren missing, but he also doesn't know anything. Because he is busy moving on with his life. He doesn't even care anymore, and he forgets everything because he has to get out of this city. In fact, he no longer knows about all the companies and assets owned by his father.

Darren was indeed feeling awkward at this time because he had never even heard of or known about the company. The company also disappeared and may have changed its name.

And now he's looking back at all of that. The document he accidentally found was the name of a company he had not heard of in a long time.

All of that opened old wounds that had been buried. Images of all that crime came back to him. He remembered that his father used to mention that PT. Daze is for Darren's future, and so high are his father's hopes for Darren in the company he built.

"Papa..." Darren muttered softly.

Darren sat staring at it, trying to piece it all together. And he still won't be able to understand. At that time, he was still too young to understand all the affairs of adults. He doesn't know all the company's problems; he is still too small and also busy with his world. What he knew at that time was that their lives were completely sufficient and did not lack anything. What he wants can all be fulfilled easily, even with a flick of the hand.

"What exactly happened?" Darren asked again.

"Abitex, Daze. What is the relationship? And why are Daze's documents in Abitex's office?" Darren asked again.

Even now, he doesn't know who to ask because he doesn't even know who the people who have been his father's friends are. Because he doesn't remember anyone who has visited his house. Even though in the past so many of his father's friends often came to their house, because he was too young, he never cared and paid attention to everything.

"Who should I ask?" asked Darren in his heart.

Darren really couldn't stop thinking about it all. He had completely forgotten everything at first, and now he was remembering everything again. However, he hated himself for not being able to remember. No matter how hard he tried, he still could not find any clues.

"I was too small for that time," Darren said again, trying to make sense of the situation so he wouldn't blame himself too much for not being able to solve the puzzle.

That day, Darren was unfocused. Waiting to go home feels so long. There was something he would do when he got home.

There is one thing that Darren has remembered until now: that his father once left something for him, which he always carries in his wallet. However, he couldn't open it in public because Darren was afraid something might make people suspicious. And also according to the message from his father, when he opened it, it was confirmed that Darren was alone, and Darren was 22 years old.

Teng!

Darren's cell phone alarm dinged, meaning it was time to go home. Because, as usual, Darren would set an alarm so he wouldn't miss it. And if indeed there are tasks that have not been completed, that means all will be counted as overtime. Overtime for an ordinary employee like Darren is very meaningful because it means that his income will increase when he receives his salary.

"Finally, working hours are over; I have to go home and go somewhere. Who knows, something meaningful will be written on that paper that can provide an explanation regarding the relationship between Abitex and Daze," Darren muttered quietly as he headed for the finger print machine.

Darren had decided that he would head to a cafe located on the edge of one of the lakes. The atmosphere was quite quiet and calm.

"Let's have a coffee!" suddenly one of his friends asked to go.

"Sorry, I have something to do first," Darren replied, refusing his friend's invitation. And Darren also knew that the offer from his friend was just lip service that they used to mock him.

"Hahaha, yes, you are the boss' favorite son-in-law. You must have a lot to do as the husband of the boss's only daughter. But it's a wonder why you still work as a lowly employee and even expect overtime," chuckled his friend mockingly, because more or less they knew Darren and Renata's marriage was not because they loved each other but because Darren had to cover up something he didn't do. They even have a special nickname for Darren, namely jackfruit. They took the term from the old saying that said people who eat jackfruit get the sap.

"Bye, you just go home there," said Darren, encouraging his friend to get away from him.

Darren ordered an online motorcycle taxi and immediately headed to the place he had determined.

Cring! Cring!

Darren's phone rang, and as usual, it must have been from Renata or from his mother-in-law asking him to do various things that gave Darren a real headache.

This time, Darren chose to ignore the call. Because Darren couldn't wait any longer to find out the contents of the letter.

"Please, you guys, let me calm down just this once. Don't call again," Darren muttered, hoping his cell phone would stop ringing soon.

And this is where Darren is now, after the coffee and food served in front of him. And Darren deliberately chose the corner so that no one could find out what he was reading.

Darren slowly took out the shabby paper, so he had never even opened it for tens of years. Actually, there was an intention to open it, but Darren was afraid that the contents would hurt, and he wasn't ready for everything.

This time, Darren felt that he had to open it up so he would know what exactly his father-in-law knew about Daze, his father's company.

‘[Bank Duta, deposits of 30 trillion.]’

"Mr. Arras," answered Gio in a whisper.Darren nodded, and he told Renata to wait just a moment in the car. He's going to meet someone.Darren stepped towards Arras's car, which was parked not far from his car, where Arras and Ken waited."How long have you been here, sir?" asked Darren after sitting next to Arras in the passenger seat of the luxury car.Arras shook his head. "Just about ten minutes.""What is it?" asked Darren, who was very curious about the arrival of Arras in the early morning like this. Even if it was just to find out about his progress, Arras could wait for information from his men."I am sorry for the death of Martano, who is none other than your father-in-law, even though in reality he is also our opponent," said Arras."I have forgiven his mistake; he is dead. It is no longer appropriate for us to hold grudges against him," Darren replied quietly.Arras nodded. "Now only Buston remains, and I want to ask Farel to charge Buston with the harshest sentence, if ne

Usually just a pull with a rough"Thank you, Darren. Please take care of Renata," Martano said again, smiling."Yes, for sure."Darren answered in a hoarse and trembling voice. He felt a strange feeling, as if Martano had entrusted Renata to him because Martano was leaving. However, he still managed to smile; he didn't want to show his worry.Martano smiled and then closed his eyes slowly. Renata thought her father would only rest when his grip weakened. However, it didn't take long for a long scream to be heard from the tool that had been beating regularly.Darren's body weakened; he was so familiar with that voice.

"What happened, Mom?" asked Darren, who was worried when he saw the change in Gia's face.Darren was sure something had happened to his father-in-law because he heard that Gia was listening to the caller's directions."Papa…" Gia returned, not finishing her conversation. It seemed that his tongue was very loose, as if something big had happened."What happened to Papa?" Darren asked again."Enter the hospital," answered Gia, who then immediately rushed out to her car."What pain?" asked Darren, chasing Gia. And also, Darren shouted for one of his bodyguards to accompany Gia. Because Darren was worried about his mother-in-law's safety."Papa fell in the bathroom, injured his head, and is currently unconscious! Are you satisfied?" Gia asked again. And he doesn't know what possessed her to make her even more angry with Darren.Darren was silent and let Gia leave his house. This time, the bodyguard who escorted Gia was Charles. At first, Gia refused to be escorted by the bodyguard, but Da

However, Gia did not answer; she just looked down. This made Darren even more confused. Looking at his wife and still not getting an answer, Renata just shrugged her shoulders."What is it?" Darren asked again.Suddenly…."Darren, we're sorry. I hope you don't continue with this murder case," Gia said then, with tears in her eyes.Darren was silent; he didn't expect Gia to come to his house to apologize. Even if it's in a haughty way. The tears that are shed are not known to be sincere or just an act.At this point, Darren could no longer even tell which one was sincere and which one was moderate. Everything looked vague in his eyes."What do you mean, mom?" Darren asked in surprise."Your father's punishment will be even more severe if you continue to open up the murder case," answered Gia.Darren smiled. "Does it mean that Mama admits that Papa is one of the perpetrators?"Renata was very surprised; she didn't expect that even Gia actually knew what Martano was doing.Renata shook h

Darren immediately looked at the source of the sound—a middle-aged man walking with a smile approaching them."No! I will renovate this house," replied Darren. The man seemed to frown upon hearing Darren's answer. "This house belongs to a businessman, and he has wanted to sell it for a long time, but it didn't sell. Are you the son of that businessman?"Darren shook his head. "I am the son of the original owner of this house; the plan to sell this house was canceled due to legal defects. This house has never changed hands since its inception. It's just that people who took advantage of the situation took my parents' property without feeling."The answer given by Darren made the man named Haris even more confused. He was a resident who had lived in the housing complex for a long time, so he was a little surprised to hear Darren's answer. Because what they knew was that the original owner of the house was Rudi Zervano, but after his death, all of his assets were taken to pay off his deb

"I'm not threatening; it's just that I want to make sure my wife is always safe. Sorry," replied Darren, who then pulled Renata's hand and left Gia, who was still very angry at Darren and Renata."Whatever you have done, rest assured that everything will turn around for you!" shouted Gia again.Gia still couldn't accept that Darren had done this to them. According to her, Darren should forget all his problems if he really wanted to be their son-in-law."We didn't do anything; we were just repaying what you guys did a few years ago to my family. As for Renata's problem, you guys don't worry; I'll take care of her," Renata replied, waving her hand at her mother-in-law."Base! Rebellious child!"Darren didn't care anymore about Gia's screams; for sure, at this time, he felt like he had paid off one debt he owed to his parents. He has seized and secured the treasure left by his father. And slowly, the truth begins to emerge.‘[Good job! Congratulations! Finally, the Daze Company is back
