Chapter 9: The Separated Simulation

"What?! How is that possible??" The audiences who stood up for Brave Team wondered. They could not believe their ears. Previously, they were sure that Brave Team would be out as the only winner for the third stage. In contrast to the Bright Team audiences, they just admitted the announced result. They kept cheering up Bright Team so that their heroes could really be the final winner for the challenge.

Then, the judges said that all of the teams could have some breaks for preparing the next harder stage which was known to be unpredictable. Once again, it rose up the candidates' curiousity. They started to imagine or even prepare a few strategies that might help them a little bit.

A few of the candidates who were really keen on the next stage activity were Silas and Xander. They were from the different and contrast teams, but their thoughts were pretty similar to each other. Xander who had clairvoyance ability was able to help Silas for defending their teams.

"I wonder if we will face the galaxian aliens. If I am not mistaken, they are the strongest opponents," said Silas.

Xander then responded, "Seriously? I thought that facing the monsters were already hard for all of us."

"Well, that is what I have read from electropedia. It is pretty harder to defeat galaxian aliens than the normal ones." Silas assured with serious glance.

"Wow, our task will be more complicated then. I also can imagine if the disaster appeared during the next stage. BOOM! It's a double trouble!" Xander added his thought.

"We need to work super hard and use our skills well." Silas reminded with unsure smile. He suddenly was insecure whether he could be the same cooperative for the next stage.

At the same time, in the middle of their conversation, the M voice was heard, "To the teams who still compete for the challenge, please gather in the rows. We will start the fourth stage, the final and last war."

"Isn't it supposed to be five stages? why is it decreased?" Drake from Bright Team asked directly through his rising right hand.

"Previously, the king along with the judges had determined that there will be five stages in second challenge, but the agreement was changed recently. The fifth stage is almost similar with the others, so it is omitted for easing the final judgement." The MC explained thoroughly.

After that, the MC continued to announce the task should be done by the teams in order to be inducted as the winners of the competition. "For the last stage, all of you need to use the powers for healing the situation on earth and rebuilding the damage caused by monsters and aliens."

Acknowledging the task announced, some of the candidates started to underestimate it. They thought that it would be as easy as it sounded like. "It is my speciality! I beg I can make it perfectly." Mace declared his ability confidently.

"I will also support you with my power, Mace. We will work together as a duo in our team," added Tristan with a big smile.

Then, the MC who actually heard the pep talk decided not to bother. Instead, he remained to explain the criteria which made either of the teams as the only winner in the competition.

"For the criteria of the last stage, the judges will determine from the endurance, the neatness, the balancing state in the environment, and the peaceful meter should not be under seventy percent," said the MC with serious tone as he uttered every single word. He hoped that the candidates would not miss any information he had told.

Through the provided criteria, each of the candidates started to decide which strategy they should pick. In their brains, they processed the several ways that might be possible for resolving the last stage. Even, some of them tried to exchange the ideas through power sign, not with exception, Silas and Xander.

"If you are still unclear, you are free to ask," added the MC about a few minutes forward.

Then, The MC let the candidates for a while, just to give them some chances to ask. In just a few minutes, there was none of the nemozens asking about either the task or criteria. "Since, there is none of you asking, we will start the stage right away," said the MC with optimistic smile. He could not wait to see the rivalry between Brave and Bright Team.

In contrast with the previous stages which always conducted the whole nature or city virtual reality, this time, the virtual reality of the different city was divided into two. Yet, it did not separate the tribune where the audiences sat.

"GLLIPPZZ.." The sound of the splitting virtual reality was heard. It showed the two circumstances at different cities on earth. The audiences were astonkshed by those views.

At the same time, each team was place in those damaging cities which were really awful. It made them attempt to find the best technique and power combination to heal the cities.

"So, we need to heal the cituzens who are still injured or have some traumas," said Drake to his teams.

Tristan then threw some questions, "How about the method? Should we gather them in one building again?"

"Yes, it should be, but please put the trauma category for the patients. Remember, we cannot mix up the light trauma with the worst ones." Drake recommended.

Furthermore, Storm who was seldomly curious about the

task added a question, "Drake, can we build the emergency indicator in the end? I think it will be really helpful for the citizens."

Listening to the rare idea for a while, Drake then responded, "Well, maybe, we can do it after everything in the city has been back like a normal. As long as we do not cause any additional damage, we can do it."

The same thing also occurred in the Brave Team. However, each member already started to fix the damage. Some of them were cooperating and helping each other since their powers could be balance.

"Let's fight for the rewards, everyone!" Ryker cheered as he flew in the sky along with Silas.

"Go BRAVE TEAM!" The rest of the members shouted loudly as they worked in the middle of the big damagimg city.
