chapter 6 The Black card

Jack searched his pockets for the black card but he couldn't find it. He was lost, frowning as the onlookers started laughing at him.

Ms. Paulina burst into laughter, "Haha, you can't even afford a coffee, and you're here to buy a Ferrari? Oh, Jack, you're such a joke!, Why are you dreaming big! Is the divorce affecting your mental"

Ma. Janet joined in, "Yes, it must be, you're dreaming of buying a $200 million car with money you don't have. You're such a pathetic liar, just because you want to impress!".

The staff asked, "Please, do you really have a car to buy, and what are you looking for in your pocket, a card can't do a $200 million dollar transaction, you know that right?".

Jack's face turned red with anger and embarrassment. " I have a black card that can do it!"

Ms. Paulina mocked him, black card? that doesn't exist! Maybe in meganovel stories, this is real life, just wake up please, You're such a poor man, Jack. You can't even afford a decent shirt, and you're trying to buy a Ferrari!"

The staff and customers in the garage started snickering and laughing at Jack's misfortune. Ma. Janet raised her voice, "Throw this man out! He's wasting our time with his ridiculous claims!"

The security guards approached Jack, "please, follow us".

Just then a voice pierced the air, "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

Everyone turned around to see a stunning hot woman, and it was Lena, sprinting towards them with a fierce expression.

Lena alwaked towards them and turned to Jack and handed him the black card, saying, "You dropped this in the car, sir."

Ms. Paulina immediately lost it, she frowned and uttered, "Did I just hear the word sir?".

Alexander ignored them and gave the staff the card who reluctantly took it, she stated, "But, what card is this, I have never come across one, and how would it make a $200 million transfer".

Lena glazed at her, "just swipe the card and get your money".

Ma. Janet Scoffed, "uhn, what's happening with the two of you, it's highly impossible".

The staff decided to go on with it, she swiped the card.

"Ding!".

*$200 million dollars funds has been added to the account*.

The staff popped out her eyes, "What's that, It's successful!".

Wow, almost everyone dropped their jaws including ms. Paulina and ma. Janet.

"Sir, please… you should come check the car and test it, there is a lot of space to test it", the staff stated.

"No, just drive it out here", calmly stated.

"Okay sir", the staff politeness was immense, she was literally looking down on him some moment ago, money is truly powerful.

Ms. Paulina couldn't believe this, and that Jack was winning, so she decided to change the narrative. "So, this is the lady you have been having affair with all this while, uhn?, The one you cheated Emily on".

"You can say anything that suits your interest, I don't care!And who I am with doesn't have anything to do with you any longer", Jack shot back at her.

"You this cheater, you don't have any sense or shame, so you leave our daughter because of a rich woman, you will suffer for it", Ma. Janet stated and angrily stormed out of the showroom.

Ms. Paulina's eyes dripped with annoyance as she followed suit.

"Are those the people you live with all this while?", Lena asked, puzzled and surprised by the behaviour.

Jack smiled, and at that exact time, his dream car arrived.

As the Ferrari pulled up in front of him, Jack's eyes welled up with tears. He couldn't believe it was finally happening. He had dreamed of this moment for so long, and he had even thought it wouldn't be happening!.

Jack took the keys, his hands shaking with excitement. He opened the door and slid into the driver's seat, feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.

As he started the engine, the roar of the Ferrari's engine echoed through the showroom, and Jack's emotions overflowed. He sniffed, then Burst into Laughter.

"Yooo!, It's here!, It's here!, I'm rich. This is not a dream!", He screams, in a way we would all scream when a Good and This unexpected event happens.

Emily stood in front of the full mirror looking at herself, she sniffled, "You are horrible, yeah… you should be", she told her mirror self.

Emily divorcing Jack was influenced by her mother and brother. They told her she needed someone that would lift her higher, for that, she had no choice but to divorce Jack and go for Kyle. So for Jack to hate her she acted that way when divorcing him.

"Jack, hate me. I deserve it, but please… survive with me for some moments, I will definitely remarry you after all this". She murmured at herself.

Just then, her phone rang and it was from her aunt. She wondered why she was calling. She picked it up.

"Hello".

"Emily! Do you know what jack did to us right now, me and my grandma!", She shrieked over the phone.

Emily frowned, surprised, "mm, what. Did you see him".

Ms. Paulina answered, "Yes, we met him in the showroom, and he dared hit me and pushed me away, and even abused me. Janet".

"What?", Emily was confused, he knew jack was not that arrogant.

"Yeah, she hit me, right in my face, I'm bleeding right now, and he even abused ma. Janet" she kept lying.

"Wow, so Jack did this? I'm sure you upset him", Emily stated.

"No, we just ask for your divorce with him, and he becomes so aggressive, and he is already with another lady, I'm sure she is the lady he had been cheating on with you during your marriage".

"What? Really?", She was puzzled.

"Yes, he is with another lady, a very big shot woman", Ms. Paulina stated, "And the mind blowing fact is that, he bought a Ferrari new released model for $200 million dollars".

"What!", Emily exclaimed, she couldn't even wrap her head around the idea that Jack would be able to buy a $200 million dollar car!. In her head, she thought the jack she knew would never be able to afford such an amount of car. If he could, why would she divorce him?.

"That's impossible!", She hauled, "we both know jack can never be able to afford such through his life span".

"But he bought it, maybe it's for the big shot lady". Ms. Paulina suggested.

Just then, her door was barged in by her mother who had this angry face . She had been lied to by Ms. Paulina also. Emily hung up the call and asked her mom, "what happened".

"You heard what jack did?, I knew he was this person from the right beginning, you made the right decision divorcing him, and I am not making this slid, I will have him arrested for assualt", Mrs. Kay angrily ranted.

"Calm down mom, I will call him and ask.. you know Ms. Paulina can be cunning at times".

"I know you will still defend him, but I will surely have him arrested", mrs. Kay stormed out of the room. Emily sighed in frustration while her personal assistant, Riley, entered the room and informed her about the outfit she wanted to buy for a banquet that she would be attending tomorrow. She decided to call Jack on her way.
