Expelling the Poor

"How can you kick us out of here? I've lived in this place for years, and now you're just kicking us out?!"

Some arrogant men who had been the most powerful in the place went berserk at being evicted from the housing that they had occupied for years. Today, as soon as they woke up, some black-clad men from nowhere came and chased them away, saying that the houses near that place would have a mansion built for a rich man who would occupy it.

Of course, some of the arrogant men didn't accept this and got angry there. But the men in black didn't care and continued to chase them away and even threw away some of the clothes and bags that their families had.

"Hey! You insolent bastards! We've occupied this place for decades, and why do you come and kick us out!"

"Go away, this place will soon be built into a large mansion! Our employer has bought this land, and you don't deserve to live here anymore. Ask the landlord for the compensation money as we have already paid there."

The whole day was a frenzy as the humans and families occupying the houses did not want to move. It was only because of the strength of the men and boys in black that they could not do anything.

Especially when they saw bulldozers and heavy construction equipment starting to arrive, so they could not easily rebel and ended up leaving with upset faces.

Damian, who was passing by with a wastebasket, smiled as he saw them leave. He had managed to get what he wanted, and after all, his memories were removed. He only became a person who could do anything with the power he had.

"What are you doing here, you poor people? Are you happy to see us evicted?!"

Damian turned his head in shock at the snapping sound from his right; he was staring at a man who looked sarcastically at him as if he wanted to swallow him whole.

"Ah, Mr. Jerry. I was passing by here, surprised to see this housing estate seems to be demolished suddenly. Are you guys broke and can't pay for the house, so you're being evicted?" he asked innocently, his face that he had never made up like a company leader looked so convincing as a poor man.

The man named Jerry grunted in annoyance; he grumbled, carrying the bags containing his clothes and those of his wife and children, making Damian smile as he walked away.

Actually, he was too lazy to deal with these poor people, but because he was annoyed they often insulted him in the past, he deliberately did all this. At the same time, he also wanted to make everyone who had mocked him fall slowly.

"How can they kick us out like this? I've been paying for that house for eight years; how can some rich guy buy it and tear it down? Those rich people are really bold!"

Damian was still hearing rant after rant from the poor people. He was still standing there and holding the wastebasket while walking away slowly because he still wanted to listen to what they were saying.

"I don't know who the rich people are who have dared to disturb our residence so much. But a few days ago, I heard that the people who bought the house and land were from the Moorsley company. Is it possible that those people want to build a new company here?" asked one of them as he walked away.

"People from the Moorsley company? Who did you get that information from?"

"Someone said it yesterday. I heard that he bought it from there, so it can't be hearsay. But even after this, we won't be able to return here, no matter who buys it. Reportedly, Young Master Moorsley is also a very mysterious person, and no one can find him or recognize him except those in his family. Is it possible that he bought this place to build a hideout from the city?"

"I don't know, but if that's the case, it's only fitting that our landlord sold it because no one can argue with what the Moorsley family wants. They are a very influential family, and no one dares to interfere with them. Damn it!"

Damian smiled at the conversation. He knew that they would be very upset, but he also didn't care as long as he got what he wanted. He used to be very underestimated here, even more so when he became the maid and servant of a man who liked to play gambling and get drunk.

Damian couldn't wait to destroy the house of the man who always insulted him, but he remembered that the man had helped him and brought him home when he fell and was lost on the side of the road. Even though that man was very annoying and liked to insult him still, that man had merit so he wouldn't touch him.

"Where is Damian at this hour? Why isn't he home at all when he's just taking out the trash!" Teni ruffled his waist with his large belly.

He glanced at his waist and watched the people who seemed to be traveling with bags and suitcases. His gaze narrowed slightly at his friend, who was also walking with an annoyed face.

"Where are you going? You're carrying a bag and some stuff. Are you going home?"

Jerry stopped; he looked at Teni's face with an annoyed look. "Me and the people who live in the White housing estate were evicted last night and can only leave this place now because they don't care about our rebellion at all. There's a big businessman who has bought the land, and we can't keep our place, so now we're going to the office of the real estate agent to demand the fees we paid. I hear it's all going to be repossessed, and you should get ready in case your house gets demolished like ours," he said exasperatedly, making Teni frown.

"How come? Why is the news so sudden? I never knew about this before," Teni said with a panicked look on his face. "Will I be evicted soon, too?"

"I don't know; I heard that the people who bought our house and land are from the Moorsley company. Yours may be evicted soon, too; you need to find a new home before you're left stranded like us." Jerry said and walked away, taking his children and wife with him.

"Gosh, is Young Master from the Moorsley family? What's his name? I never knew either."

At the same time, Damian walked over and saw a panicked-looking Teni in front of his house. The man smiled, knowing that just hearing his name scared people. What if he had come to Teni's doorstep? Would the man be hospitalized and critically ill from shock?
