The Curse Of the Black Diamond

FINDING CLUES

      Samuel and Reece are still determined to crack the case of the black diamond but have struggled for the past weeks to find clues and don't even know where to start. 

  They then remember that the archeologist who retrieved the black diamond and took it to the National Museum of Ancient Tradition for safe keeping where it was stolen by the  Outcasts is still alive.

   

        They plan to locate him fast before the outcasts do. Dr. Herman Manuel, a professor at the University of Professional Studies has been reported missing for weeks now.

  "Dr. Manuel has been missing for the past three weeks and is no where to be found. He's our only key to finding the bloodline of King Nkrumah"says Samuel."Could the Outcasts have him by now?"He adds, Reece replies, "I don't think so, I'm sure he's running away from the Outcasts , cause according to the intel I received from his past neighbors they said that the night the diamond was stolen, he packed a few of his stuff and left his home and hasn't returned since.We have to act fast and find him and the last bloodline as well."

         They have to find a way to move out of the office to start searching for Dr. Manuel before it's late but they are very well aware that Mr. Norman who is not a fan of that case wouldn't allow them leave the office without a good reason,their only option is to set out exactly when work closes .

  They sit around watching the clock and patiently wait till it's time to close, they set an alarm and fall asleep. Finally it's 9:00pm and work closes and the alarm rings to wake them up. "It's time, let's move out" Reece says to Samuel as they quickly pack their stuff and set out. 

They have a photo of Dr.Manuel in hand and begin their search, they move to Dr.Manuel's old residence and ask his neighbors if they have seen him around or know where he is but they're all reluctant to tell them because Dr. Manuel had earlier warned them not to give out any information to anyone who came searching for him. 

They almost give up and finally come across a fishmonger who everyone fears would give him away because she has a loose mouth. They ask,"Madam good evening, We're special agents from the NIA and are in search of Dr.Herman Manuel,he used to live in this area. Do you have any idea where he is now?"Showing them their NIA ID's to back their words and identity which helps them gain her trust but she's still reluctant to tell them saying,"I'm still not telling you anything. " 

Samuel upon hearing this, whispers into Reece's ears saying,"I think she wants money, you know we get fish using bait." Reece puts his hands in his pockets and takes out an amount of money and hands it to the fishmonger which she gladly accepts and says,"I don't know where he lives now but he comes here sometimes at night and leaves with some papers. I work very late into the night so I get the chance to see him come and go." 

  Hearing this, they give her their calling cards to call them anytime she sees him of which she agrees to as they leave her place back to their various homes.

     A new day arises and they both meet infront of the office looking so tired from their investigations made the previous night and Samuel suggests they go get coffee to drink to keep them active.
