In the days that passed, Sophia's mood seemed to lighten a bit. Her glare wasn't as sharp as it once was. Though her eyes were still scornful.

"I swear you get more handsome by the day. You clearly didn't inherit your father's genes," my mother squealed as she wrapped her arms around me from behind.

It was a morning occurrence. She always waited outside my room and ambushed me with a hug every morning.

"Yes, you're right, our son looks like a young prince. He'll be quite the hype among the girls when he finally enters that academy. When he returns we might find we have a grandson or two." My father chuckled as he drank his morning coffee by the table. "If he didn't have the same hair and eye color as me, I would have to wonder if he really was my son,"

My father wasn't an ugly man but he had quite the round stomach. He had a bit of neck fat and a mustache above his lip.

He looked just like those prick nobles I used to faceslap on the games I used to play. While my mother was more beautiful than most models back on earth. She looked like she was in her lae 20s though she was much older.

They might've sounded like doting parents, but they were actually correct. My appearance was attractive, if I do say so myself.

Though I was only 15, I had the jawline and complexion of a supermodel. Even some of the older women at work began making passes at me when my mother wasn't looking.

Mariah's bosom had rubbed up against my elbow so many times that I lost count. She brought up the fact that she was divorced and single in every conversation we had. Not to mention the countless times she tripped and 'accidentally' fell on me. She was the more aggressive one I'd say. Since I was only 15, most of the other girls only used me as eye candy.

This was normal for demons who took on a human appearance. They were always handsome with an irresistible charm. This was part of the reason why some of the demons at the academy were easily caught. They easily caught the eyes of others.

This beauty of mine was a problem that needed to be fixed. But it wasn't my focus for now, since I had already found a way to deal with it.

The only person who wasn't completely bewitched by my looks was Sophia, who sat at the table eating a bowl of cereal. She didn't even glance at me once.

"Good morning, Mom. Good morning, Dad," I said as I put on a smile that seemed to brighten up the room.

My father's jaw dropped as he stared at me as if I was a mythical creature. My mother clutched her chest, and her face heated up into a blush.

This was the power of my demonic charm, and my charm stat was only at G+. Imagine when it's higher.

I then walked over to Sophia with the same cheerful smile on my face.

"Good morning, Sis."

She paused and looked up at me, taking her eyes away from her cereal.

She stared at me blankly.

"Morning," she mumbled under her breath before returning to her breakfast. Her cereal was sagging in the bowl. It looked like she hadn't eaten much of it.

Still keeping the smile on my face, I took the empty chair right next to hers.

"Oh, sweetheart, you must be hungry. Would you like me to make you some breakfast?" my mother asked, snapping out of her daze, staring at me with a look of concern.

"Yes, can I have some omelet rice, please?"

Sophia paused and stared up at me. I met her gaze, and she quickly averted her gaze, continuing to pick around her cereal.

Of course, there was a reason behind this. Omelet rice was her favorite. Her parents used to prepare it every morning, and they would sit and eat as a family. She tearfully revealed this little detail in the game after she broke down in front of the MC.

"Of course, darling, I'll go prepare it," my mother answered with a chirpy smile.

"Can you make some for Sophia too? She doesn't seem to be enjoying the cereal she's eating."

Sophia immediately shot me a glare. She looked at me as if I was dirt. With one glance it felt as if she had insulted my entire existence. If I was a lesser man my confidence would've dropped significantly.

Wearing a gentler expression, she then turned her attention to my mother.

"No, Aunt Lisa, don't trouble yourself. I'm fine with just cereal." She said.

My mother seemed a bit downcasted by her words and was about to speak but I quickly cut in.

"Actually, I was thinking we could all eat omelet rice as a family. I only asked her to make some for you since I knew they wouldn't want to eat omelet rice while you are forced to eat cereal. You can see how that will make them feel guilty, can't you?" I spoke but Sophia still seemed adamant that she was eating cereal.

Everyone in the room diverted their attention to me as I spoke. My father, in particular, seemed to have a strange shimmer in his eyes.

He used to run one of the richest companies in the world. Of course, he was a shrewd man. He understood my intentions perfectly and followed up.

"If Sophia is eating cereal, then I don't think it's right for me to have omelet rice. I'm sorry, son, it's not right, I'll have to pass."

Sophia's eyes widened.

"No, wait! I didn't mean to cause trouble. Aunt, Uncle, forgive me."

Sophia stood from her seat and bowed her head apologetically, grasping the hem of her skirt tightly. Ever since being adopted, she had been walking on eggshells around my parents. She knew their situation and didn't want to add any more burdens to them. In the end she was just a child who lost her parents and was afraid of being abandoned again.

My mother stared at her with concern before smiling warmly. This was the perfect time for her to get closer to Sophia. She approached the trembling girl and embraced her in a hug.

"Sophia, you don't have to worry about causing trouble. You're a child; it's part of your job to cause trouble. As your parents, all we want from you is for you to be happy."

Sophia's cheeks softened against my mother's warmth. Tears filled her eyes, and her quivering lips folded up.

'It might've been my sadistic side speaking, but I found the face she was making quite cute.'

After wiping the tears from her eyes, Sophia retook her seat, and my mother went to prepare breakfast for all of us.

As we sat around the table and ate, we chatted about all manner of things. You couldn't tell that this was a family that had fallen on hard times.

Sophia watched us quietly, and she would occasionally frown at whatever silly joke I made. I heard her mumble 'idiot' under her breath many times.

Her face lit up in a soft blush every time she took a bite of her omelet rice. Her feet secretly tapped on the ground underneath the table, showing just how excited she was.

At one point, I could swear I saw a small smile form on her face but it was gone in an instant.

Since it was the weekend, my father didn't have to work, but my mother did. She had an 8-hour shift at the restaurant.

Sophia quickly retreated to her room after breakfast was over, leaving only my father and I.

Since that scene with Sophia, my father, Jonathan, has been looking at me quite differently.

I sensed something was up.

He walked over to me and rested his large hands on my shoulder.

"Son, we need to talk. Come with me."

I quickly stepped into the room and closed the door.Lilith was sitting on my bed, as beautiful as ever, but I made sure not to look at her gorgeous body and instead stared into her eyes. Taking in the contours of her bodacious curves was a fast track way to being seduced."Demon princess, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" I said, lowering my head slightly.A small smile played on her lips as she chuckled lightly."You're a curious one, aren't you?" she mused."Curious one?" I asked, feigning ignorance."I mean to say you're an unusual demon, and before you blatantly lie, I'll let you know that I've been watching your every move."She was? This could prove to be trouble."Relax, I'm interested in you. From what I've seen, you're more reliable than most demons," she said. "At least, I'm certain you have a brain.""Princess, that's too high a praise. Whether I have a brain or not is still up for question."She giggled and as she did, my eyes couldn't help but be drawn to the

  • Found Out

For a moment, everyone in the classroom was shocked. The principal of the hero academy just walked in, pulled out his soul weapon, pointed it at a student, and said "demon."At that moment, everyone's eyes drifted to the student the principal was pointing at. It was a single male student sitting at the back of the classroom, with both feet on the desk. His fiery red hair was a mess as if it wasn't combed this morning."Huh?"Roku scowled at the principal with no effort to hide his annoyance."Not only did you have the gall to sneak into my academy, but you also murdered one of my students underneath my watch. I don't know how I'll live through such a shame but you'll certainly not."Again, a wave of whispers washed through the classroom."That can't be right.""Did he say he killed a student?""No way.""Which student is it?"Watching the students' faces, Roku frowned and climbed to his feet."Look, old man, I don't have any idea what you're talking about."Roku said, but Principal Gr

  • [Curse Activated]

For the next few days, I started going to the dungeon every day after school. As soon as the school bell rang, I would head to the dungeon training building without even changing from my uniform.I would only enter the D-ranked goblin dungeon. My goal was to kill as many goblins as possible. Since we weren't allowed to stay in the dungeon past 10 pm, which was curfew, that was when I usually left the dungeon and went back to my dorm room.I learned quite a few things about the dungeon. One of the most important things I learned was that the dungeon only spawned a total of 35 goblins. On most days, I would kill anywhere from between 20-30 goblins every time I entered. This meant that I earned more than 3000 zencoin every time I entered. This was a huge amount for me, but most of it was given to Roku. His extortion had increased as of late. He now took a lot more money from Oliver, Theodore, and I.But since Oliver and Theodore didn't have a lot of money, it meant I had to foot most of

  • Luna's Talk

On the path to school, there were several students walking behind and in front of us. A few were in groups as they excitedly chatted with their friends, while others walked by themselves. I, on the other hand, walked beside the timid girl, Luna, who said she wanted to talk to me about something, but so far hasn't said a word. She was wearing an oversized hoodie, even though it was currently morning. It looked as if she was trying to psyche herself up to speak since every few minutes, I heard her faintly mutter something that couldn't even be comprehended as a word, much less a sentence, but every time I looked in her direction, she averted her eyes and looked down.It was as if we were playing a cat and mouse game. If I stared at her for too long, she would look as if she was on the verge of tears.Instead of jumping into whatever she wanted to say, I decided to make small talk with her so she would gradually become comfortable speaking with me."We're in the same weapon cultivation c
