"Did you hear? The butler is returning with the young Master today!"
"Thank the heavens! But where has the man been since the death of his father? It's been eight years since anyone set their eyes on him." "Well, maybe he has been abroad for business. All we are grateful for is that he is back..." There are over a hundred servants, and they make sure that they are in their best uniforms to welcome him. John Plummer pulls the car to the front, and then he nods his head with satisfaction when he sees the manner of orderliness. They are prepared for anything, but definitely not to see that the young Master snow is a cripple. One of them forgets his manners and lets out a very audible chuckle of mockery, which makes Stanley stop his wheelchair and stare at him through dark and angry eyes. "John?" Stanley snaps his fingers. "Yes, young master." "Kick this one out, immediately." Stanley says. The man immediately falls down on his face and begs like his life depends on it. "Oh, sir, I wasn't laughing at you being disabled! I only cleared my throat to itch a spot!" Stanley scoffs. "You dare lie to my face? Do you think I was born yesterday? Security!" Immediately, four armed soldiers, all measuring about 6 '5 in height, come humbly before Stanley. "Yes, Lord Snow." "Throw this man out immediately, and make sure that he is black listed from ever working again." The man is still crying so hard, but Stanley pays him no attention and wheels himself into the house. What can John Plummer do? He warned them to show maximum respect to the young master, but this man chose to fail. "Wait for me, young master!" He hurries into the mansion, after Stanley. Immediately, a shudder goes down the spine of the rest of the workers. "Did you see how much authority Lord Snow spoke with?" One whispers as they watch their colleague getting thrown out. "He is a cripple, but he has so much power!" "I have never seen a disabled like this man!" John doesn't have to chase Stanley for too long, because he is still in the living room. He is staring at the rich collection of art on the walls. Stanley can't fathom the fact that he has stared at these pictures for so long, but he can't remember them. Even with that, there is still something vaguely familiar about the arts carefully painted on them. "These are your father's collections," John puts his hand behind him with a proud smile. "No one has a more expensive collection. The lowest of each art here is five million dollars." Stanley almost laughs. His father has so much as that to spend on a mere painting while Stanley has been forced to go to bed hungry sometimes, because his in-laws were not interested in feeding him that day? John clears his throat a little. "Sir, would you like to see the master's bedroom now? It was once your father's, but now it's yours." "I'll allow it." "Sir, we might also have to install a kind of mechanical lift to take you up and down the stairs..." Stanley's face changes, as if his own saliva has become too sour for comfort. A break of sweat suddenly envelopes John. "Young master, I didn't mean that as an insult. I just want you to be as comfortable as possible..." "I want the house to remain as my father left it." Stanley says. "besides, my in-laws didn't install a mechanic lift for me for seven years. I'm sure I will be able to find my way up and down the stairs." John's eyebrows furrow as he tries to imagine how Stanley will manage to do that. He opens his mouth to ask another question, but he quickly shuts up because he has suddenly remembered that Stanley Adkins has never been one who liked to talk too much... So, he just bows again. "As you wish, sir. All I am happy about is that you are back home. The doctors will examine you in two hours..." ***** The team of Doctors is the very best in the city. As soon as John Plummer informs them that Lord Snow wants their service, they immediately clear their schedule and fly down to the country. There are five of them, highly trained and professional, but even they are very nervous to meet the most wealthy but anonymous man. Then, their jaws slack on the ground when Stanley is wheeled in by John. Stanley keeps his expression still and his hands stiffly on his lap. He has never gotten used to people staring because of his condition. Thankfully, the Doctors are professionals, and they get over their surprise almost immediately. "Lord Snow, we are very privileged to be one of the first people to see you," the head doctor bows. "This is the highest privilege of our lives, sir, and we promise that we are not going to reveal your identity to anyone," The rest nod in agreement. John has already warned them about this. "Doctors, unfortunately, Lord Snow doesn't have time to catch up on much of the talks–" "I want my memory back," Stanley says with a big inhale. "All of it. The good, the bad, the ugly. Is that possible? What are the risks involved?" The Doctors immediately take out their notes. "Sir, this is a very sensitive drug that hasn't been ever used in the official market. It has only gone through human trials recently." "And how successful were the results?" The Doctor hesitates for a while, and only one has the courage to speak up. "Sir, we tested it on ten people. Three suffered great mental effects, two went into coma, two had zero effect, two lost even more of their memories, and only one was successful, and now has all his memories." John Plummer lips pressed together in fear, he doesn't like the odds of this at all. What if the drug turns the young master into a vegetable? What is he going to do then? The entire Snow empire is worth a trillion dollars, and Franny, Stanley's stepmother, might be out of the psychiatric institution anytime soon. If Stanley is not here to take charge and protect all of them, Franny is going to wreck hell. John Plummer is going to be the first person that she is going to kill, because he was the one that took the evidence to court, and threw her into that mental hospital... "Um, young master, may I speak to you privately? Doctors, can you give us the room?" The Doctors are just about to leave when Stanley stops them. "There is no time, John. If there is something you need to say, you can say it here." John heaves, before gathering his courage to speak. "Um, sir, I don't think that you should take the drug. The risk is too much, and the entire Snow empire is on your shoulder." "I'd rather take my chances, even if it means that they are so slim. I will get my revenge , one way or another." "Sir, maybe we can look into some surgeries. From what I believe–" "The drug is going to be faster if it works, that's it." "But if you die, sir–" "Then bury me next to my father, John!" Stanley roars. "I will never allow my enemies to win, I will get my revenge back!" With great determination in his heart, Stanley turns back to the Doctors and demands for the drug to be given to him. The head Doctor pulls out a small vial from her pocket. "It comes in the form of this small herbal ointment, sir. Just apply it around your temple for ten days, and we will get our answers." "If it works," Stanley looks at the bottle with so much hope. "If it works, Lord Snow," the doctor smiles. "but I believe that it will work for you. You deserve to have your memory back, sir." Stanley keeps the bottle protectively in his hand. "Thank you. John, please pay them the amount they have charged for their service, and don't forget to give them a huge bonus." "Yes, young master." The Doctors thank him, and then they are on their way. The last Doctor, though, is the youngest in the team. She is hesitating and biting down her lip, because she has a very crazy idea. Before anyone can say anything, she falls on one knee and starts to examine Stanley's cripple legs. Her colleagues gasp collectively and immediately turn white in the face. "Doctor Chloe! What do you think you are doing? Do you have a death wish?" Stanley is highly irritated by what she is doing. He has had enough of people poking at him like he is an animal. "Young lady, stop this, or I will make you regret it immediately!" He shouts. "Please, sir, I think I can help you. Do you have feelings here?" She touch just below his knee. John has had enough, he drags the woman by her shoulders. "I swear, I can help the young master to walk again. Just allow me to properly examine him!"Latest Chapter

115. As soon as the president is able to once again breathe after that abominable smell, he takes out the gun that is kept in his desk, and he shoots the sole survivor soldier right in his head. The poor, frightened man didn't even have the time to register his impending fate before he drops to the ground. Franklin has his fingers pressed against his nose as he watches his brother's victim bleed into the expensive carpets. "I promised that you were going to spare him, brother, "Franklin calmly says. "That was before I knew that he was going to dump severed rotting hands all over my office floor!" President Sampson yells, before throwing the gun carelessly. "Find someone to clean this up, immediately!" He is about to walk out of the office when the telephone starts to ring, and this causes both men to stop. This particular telephone line is not given out of just anyone, except a few that are members of his private circle. "You should pick up, brother." Franklin nods. "I know tha

President Sampson is walking through the wings of the presidential Villa, a cigarette between his lips. It's now been twenty four hours since he sent out his men to put the fear of God into the anonymous Lord Snow, but he hasn't heard back from them. His brother, Franklin, walks in, slightly frowning to see how troubled his brother is. "What's the matter, brother?" He sits down, pouring himself a glass of scotch. "The boys I sent out, they are not back yet," he complains, hand under his chin. "I can't help but worry that something has happened." Franklin only laughs. "What bad can happen, brother? Have you forgotten that you are the President?" "So, you think that they must have captured that girl that refused to sign over the papers?" He huffs. "Better still, I think that they treated her so badly that no one is going to have the heart to go against you again. I'm sure that even the Lord Snow will soon call and beg you." This makes the President happy again, and he pours hi

Lauren is in her hospital bed, tight asleep in her bed after the full body checkup from the doctors. Stanley wouldn't have it any other way. Paris has refused to leave her side too, because she can't believe that Lauren almost died right in her presence. She wipes her tears with the back of her hands and looks at Seven. "I'm sorry, I should have done better to protect her." Seven laughs. "Paris, don't bother yourself over that. You are just a tiny woman, what could you have done against men with guns?" He pockets his phone before going to make sure that the drip connected to Lauren's arm is going just fine. Once he is sure, he nods. "Keep an eye on her, okay?" "No problem, sir." "If anyone, except the doctor, tries to force their way into this place, just let me know." He walks towards the door, but Paris holds his arm. "Those bad people that were taken away by the army? What's going to happen to them?" Seven smirks. "Paris, it's better you don't know." ******On another f

Immediately the men see Seven with the gun, they immediately cower and start to rush to the back. This is the same person whose picture was shown to them, and they were warned to avoid him, if possible, because he is dangerous. Once Lauren sees Seven, she drops her hands into her hands and starts to cry from relief. That breaks Seven's heart, and he immediately rushes to check her. "Lauren, are you fine?" He asks her. "Please, tell me that you are." She is terribly shaken, but she manages to nod, but he can't be deceived. He sees the small blood on her lower lip, and because he knows that all she is going to do is undermine her pain, he just turns to Paris, who is ever ready to spill. "It's that one on the ground!" She points. "He slapped her so hard because she refused to sign some papers!" As if on cue, the man starts to cough and slightly lifts his head. He is already pale because of how much he is bleeding out, but Seven won't allow that. There supposed to be a special p

Hearing that they have come for Lauren makes Roman's blood go cold immediately. He knows that they are not going to spare her even a little bit. Thank heavens that he told her to go up, and not come out till help comes. "Please, I beg you, this thing you are doing, Lord Snow won't like it very much," he begs. "Why don't you people calm down so that we can go to my office, and we can talk," he says, but the leader won't have any of it. Before Roman can even blink, the leader has ordered two men to go over and beat Roman with the butt of their guns and bats. They beat him till the employees hiding around are moved to the verge of tears. Yet, not one of them dares to take out their phone and call the police. These people in dark clothes didn't hide the fact that they came from the President! Of course the police will not be able to help them in this case, only their boss, Lord Snow... "Where is that bitch?!" The leader shouts. "We are not leaving this place without her!" Roman g

"Please, Morgan, tell me that you rejected the money! Tell me that this is all a joke!!!" Roman begs, but Morgan laughs in his face. "That's the easiest money I ever made in my life," Morgan boasts. "Of course I took it!" That's all that Roman needs to hear, he runs out of the office and straight into the elevator, his phone already in his left hand. He dials in Lauren's number as quickly as he can, and the moment he hers it ring and ring, while waiting for her to pick up, it's like torture for him. "Hello?" He sighs and shuts his eyes. "Thank God, Lauren." "I'm sorry, who is this?" "It's me, Roman Snow." "Oh my God, sir!" She gasps. "I'm sorry, I didn't even know that you had my number." "Please, Mrs Adkins, we have to skip the pleasantries immediately. Where are you?" It's such an odd question that Lauren is quiet for a few seconds. "I'm in my car, sir. I just got here from the mansion," He is already on the ground floor, and he is using the side exit that takes him t
