"Bang!"

Ka-cha!

Cyrus's fist struck the skinny man completely off guard, smashing directly into the bridge of his nose. The sickening sound of bones shattering filled the air.

The man's eyes widened in shock and became larger than a small egg. Before he could even cry in pain, his face collapsed inward. Blood started gushing from his broken nose.

It all happened so fast that for a few seconds, no one could process what had occurred. The skinny youth, Dora, was immediately knocked unconscious, his body sent flying three meters before hitting the ground with a heavy thud. He didn't even have the chance to scream before blacking out entirely.

"Ahhh!"

When everyone reacted, Cyrus had already caused Dora to suffer a heavy injury. The woman's face was aghast, and she screamed crazily.

"Humph!" Cyrus's eyes flashed like lightning; he glanced at the sword on the skinny tall youth's waist. Then quickly pulled the sword out and dashed deeper into the forest.

Previously, he used his ability "Moment Eternity" to stop time for ten seconds. Just those ten seconds were enough to take care of Dora who was a Level 3 Third-tier Star Warrior, and the weakest of them all.

"How dare you? How dare you lay a hand on my people? Bastard, I'll take your life!"

The tall and sturdy man, who was at the 7th Level of the Third-tier Star Warrior, was instantly enraged. Without hesitation, he unsheathed his curved blade and hurled it toward Cyrus.

The blade transformed into a streak of silver light as it sliced through the air like a crescent moon, aiming directly for Cyrus.

Cyrus felt a sudden surge of danger from behind. He instinctively halted and spun around to see what was happening, only to draw in a sharp breath. His pupils narrowed, revealing a flicker of fear.

Having already used his ability to stop time for ten seconds, Cyrus knew he wouldn't be able to use it again for a whole month.

Realizing the imminent danger, Cyrus swiftly dodged and bolted in the opposite direction. He leaped into the air and his feet landed lightly on the large tree branches as he nimbly dashed from one to another, dodging while increasing the distance between himself and those warriors.

"Humph! Where do you think you're going?" the tall and sturdy man snarled. His eyes were filled with fury.

Without wasting any more words, the man lunged forward. His movements were swift and precise as he closed the gap rapidly.

"Chase him!" he commanded.

The other members of the group, fueled by their anger and frustration, followed the tall man. All of them were gritting their teeth. They were hell-bent on catching Cyrus.

The three Level 7 Third-tier Star Warriors, who led the group, quickly took the lead. Since Cyrus dared to attack one of them, all they wanted now was to end Cyrus's life.

Cyrus pushed his body to its limit, fleeing with everything he had. He knew he was outmatched and far weaker than even the weakest member of the group chasing him. If not for his sneak attack on Dora and his use of the time-stopping ability, there was no way he would have escaped unscathed.

Right now, all he could do was run for his life.

.....

"Shua! Shua! Shua!"

Four figures could be seen shuttling through the forest consecutively. Their figures intertwined with each other, and it was hard to tell them apart. However, the three Level 7 Third-tier Warriors were already getting closer and closer to Cyrus.

Cyrus was ahead of everyone, but he was panicking. In this moment of danger, he again forgot that even if he is killed here, nothing would happen to him. He would return back to Earth safely.

While running, Cyrus saw a handsome young man sitting calmly on the grass a few dozen meters in front of him. This man was holding a piece of rough wood in his hand and slowly sharpening it on a piece of rock.

"Hmm?"

As if the young man felt something, he raised his head and looked ahead.

The next moment, he saw a figure stepping in the air and landing on one tree after another before landing on the ground right in front of the young man, causing him to immediately stand up. His eyes widened as he shouted: "Hey! Are you out of your mind?"

But Cyrus did not care about him and continued moving forward quickly.

"Sou! Sou! Sou!"

Another three figures flashed over in succession. That handsome youth's face twisted as he cursed, "Bastards!"

While Cyrus was running wildly, as if he sensed a danger below his feet, he suddenly jumped again and stepped on a tree branch. It was at this moment that, "Boom", a loud explosion echoed in the air like thunder.

A ray of flaming light overflowed into the sky like lava, and in an instant, it blew Cyrus's body away as if he were nothing more than a blade of grass.

After that, one after another, many explosions echoed in the sky. The pupils of the three Level 7 Third-tier Star Warriors shrank, and their expressions changed as they saw the explosive light around them. They shouted loudly: "Not good! There are traps here!"

"Retreat!"

As a result, the three of them hurriedly turned around and fled, but they could not endure the explosion any longer as it violently rose up from all directions. Their bodies were affected by the thick flames, and in an instant, their clothes were torn apart, and burned marks appeared on their bodies.

"A bunch of stupid pigs. I painstakingly set up this trap to kill my enemies. You bastards ruined it!" A roar resounded beside the explosive region. The handsome youth was so angry that he stomped his feet repeatedly. He was extremely infuriated.

By now, Cyrus's body was riddled with wounds from the relentless blasts, and he lay motionless on a patch of grass, drenched in blood.

"Fuck!" the handsome youth growled, his fists clenching tightly as he fought to contain his rage. He stormed over to Cyrus, who had already fainted. Paying no mind to whether Cyrus was dead or alive, the young man pointed furiously at Cyrus's unconscious form and started to let out a torrent of curses.

"You useless fool! It wasn't enough that you wanted to die, you had to ruin my trap too. Do you even know how long it took me to set those traps?"

"Seven days!"

"I spent seven days and seven nights meticulously planning this setup, and you ruined it all in a split second!"

"Idiot! You f*cking idiot."

"Huff!" "Huff!"

The handsome youth cursed for a long time until his throat became hoarse. Then he stopped. His eyes were bloodshot as he gasped for air.

Cyrus's body just lay like that on the ground, unconscious to the point of death. His body was like charred coal, to the extent that even his closest kin would not be able to recognize him.

"Humph!" The handsome youth calmed down and snorted coldly. He glanced at Cyrus as if he was looking at a dead dog.

Then he checked first to see if Cyrus was really dead or alive. Seeing that Cyrus was still alive and was only seriously injured, the handsome young man became angry once again.

"F*ck, you are not dead even after suffering such heavy injuries. Are you a cockroach or what? You really have a dog's luck, you bastard."

Breathing deeply, he tried to calm his anger. But the moment his gaze landed on Cyrus again, his face turned red with rage again.

Glancing with anger and resentment at the splinters he had sharpened up, he bent down and quickly tied them together with a piece of hemp rope and slung them over his shoulder.

He picked up another bag which produced "clang clang" sounds. Then he immediately left with big steps and muttered with a gloomy face while walking: "Fuck, I will set two traps next time. One for you stupid pigs and one for my enemies. Those bastards are terrifying, it is not easy to kill them. So, I decided to lay down a trap, but now, everything is ruined. I'm so angry, so angry!"

For a long time, curses kept resounding in the forest. Each time, it would produce a different tone, sometimes faster and sometimes slower. Finally, the sound got further and further away.

On the other side, when the group of people who tried to rob Cyrus gathered once again, all of their faces were completely red, especially the three sorry-looking Level 7 Third-tier Star Warriors, who were clenching their teeth tightly and emitting killing intent, causing their entire bodies to tremble in anger.

These three people also suffered injuries and burns from previous explosions, but they were still in good condition compared to Cyrus.

If Cyrus had not avoided the explosion by jumping in the air and stepping on the branch, he would have definitely died.

One of the three people had a dark look in his eyes. He frowned when he remembered Cyrus and could not help but say coldly: "It's fine if you are killed by those explosions, but if you are still alive, I will definitely catch you and tear you apart into pieces before feeding your body parts to the wolves!"

His name should not have even appeared on the Golden Monument, let alone rank in the Top 200.There must be something strange about his name not only appearing on the Golden Monument but also rising up constantly. While Wan was still sneering inwardly, to everyone's shock, Cyrus's name soon rose to rank 200 and was still rising upward, not showing any sign of stopping at all. Not long after that, his name crossed the 100th position as well."Top 100?""Oh my god, A Level 1 First-tier Star Warrior can actually rank in the top 100. How can this be true? The names belonged to young people who had the qualifications to participate in the Hidden Dragon Competition.Among these people, the weakest was a Level 1 First-tier Star Warrior."Are these the top ten?"Cyrus glanced at the top row of the Golden Monument. Ten names were written there in shiny golden characters. Almost everyone's eyes were fixed on them, full of respect.Cyrus curiously looked at the name ranked first. Dylan Lydall's name was purple gold. Among the 300 names, his name was the most dazzling. He was also a Level 9 Blue Spirit Star Warrior and the contestant who was most likely to win the championship.Cyrus frowned slightly and nodded. This Dylan was truly impressive. At only 28 years old, he had already reached the level of a Level 9 Blue Spirit Star Warrior. His talent was undeniable. To put this into perspective, his father, the Lord of Star City back on Earth, wa

Although very low, there is indeed some probability of success.Determined, he asked again, "Then... can you at least let me see the crystal? I want to take a closer look."Marcus hesitated, his expression uncertain. Sensing this, Cyrus shook his head and spoke firmly, "If you want my help, you should at least show some sincerity. If you can't even let me see the crystal, why should I risk my life to help you?"What would he gain from helping them?Just a reward and a favor.Perhaps, Cyrus's background was so extraordinary that he didn't consider their favor worth anything at all."That crystal is with Chris. "What kind of place is Ten Thousand Abyss City?" Cyrus couldn’t help but ask.Marcus took a deep breath before replying, "I can only tell you that this city is extremely dangerous. One of these regions is our Green Wood Region.""The Hidden Dragon Competition isn't limited to the geniuses of the Green River Region in the Light Wind Empire; it's a contest among the brightest talents from all four regions, which is why it's held in Ten Thousand Abyss City.""As for why this city is so perilous, you'll know once you go there."Cyrus nodded thoughtfully. By now, he already knew that the Light Wind Empire had a total of four regions. Each region had hundreds of huge cities and towns. Aside from the Green Wood Region, there were the Red Flame Region, the Blue Water Region, and the Silver Thunder Region. There was a significant reason why each region was named after a color and an element. This was due
