Forbidden Valley

Xiang Zhe managed to escape the attack of a group of warriors from the Hinyang sect, which is the second enemy after the Beiyuan sect. They were about to kill Xiang Zhe, but unfortunately, it was their troops who were killed.

 

After walking quite a distance from the city, crossing the river, and passing through some remote forests, Now Xiang Zhe came to a valley, where this place looks terrible and is rarely reached by humans. He stopped by a small lake to wash his face.

"So many reasons! Attack this intruder!" He ordered the troops to be behind him.

 

The battle was on, with Xiang Zhe again relying on his sword. But this time he would be careful not to take casualties for the umpteenth time.

The skillful swordplay against the five fire spears clashing together made a loud sound. Again, during the group attack he encountered, Xiang Zhe chuckled softly as the troops became more and more numerous. But that didn't scare him; the fight continued. He ran until he came across a small cave with wild plants growing around it. Xiang Zhe hid in the cave for a while.

The cave was not just any cave; there were many things in it, like a palace. But it had been neglected for a long time, so the items inside were shabby. He found a row of statues and rows of ancient heirlooms neatly arranged on the cave's stone walls.

 

"Only elders dare to live here. But I haven't seen anyone in here since earlier," he said, casting his eyes around the cave.

"He's hiding in the cave! Catch him!"

 

"Huh?"

 

"Don't run away! Go after him!" The robed youth pointed.

 

Xiang Zhe, who saw this, immediately chuckled in annoyance. "Tsk! Damn it! I've got to get away from that bastard's attack."

 

Xiang Zhe ran deeper into the cave, but it turned out to be a dead end. Behind him, five young men were blocking his way, and Xiang Zhe's body hit the rock wall. He was able to overcome the attack with his energy. The fight continued, but Xiang Zhe hid the book inside the large robe he was wearing. The fight was again ferocious, and weapon attacks were again utilized by them.

 

Five rounds of energy were wasted. Three warriors were defeated along with their staffs, leaving two warriors who had a very strong resistance that was very difficult to overcome.

 

"Your skills are great. But they're useless if you fight me! I won't let a stranger take over this forbidden valley!" He said it firmly.

 

That made Xiang Zhe furrow his brow. "Who wants to take over? I'm just taking a short break here."

"What nonsense are you saying?! We fight; just see who will fall here!" His screech was firm and cold.

 

The two young men attacked again with fierce embers. Whoever was hit by these embers would not survive, but Xiang Zhe had the power of water and wind stoicism to ward off the fire attacks on his body.

 

"Fire ember attack!"

 

"Ferocious ember element...!!!"

 

"Water stoicism...!"

Two youths fell at once. He could not believe that with his bare hands he was able to defeat two youths at once; it must have all come from the energy in the great book. The young man opened his eyes heavily before finally closing them.

 

"You are indeed a great warrior; you deserve to be the leader of the forbidden valley!"

 

"What do you mean? I..."

 

The young man closed his eyes and collapsed on the ground. Xiang Zhe only gave the young man a glance, then walked out of the dark and narrow room. It wasn't until he reached the front that he realized what the young man had said and remembered the book he had found.

 

"The book that gives me the power to melt them?"

 

She opened the book and skimmed through it. Apparently, the book contained historical spells that made the power increase. In these spells, there were some that merged with his energy, so it was indirectly like being magnetized by both.

 

"So they are the guardians of this valley of darkness? They thought that I would seize this valley. Apparently they are relying on the prophecy in this book, which states that someone will come this year to take power, and whoever manages to fight the guards through the fortress will be the next true leader."

 

"I managed to break through; will I be the next leader? All of this seems ridiculous and nonsensical." He screeched as he threw the book in the middle of nowhere.

 

But a few seconds later, the book opened wide and released a bright light. The light attracted Xiang Zhe's energy, causing him to approach the thick book.

 

"What happened?" He asked in a panicked tone.

 

The energy drew him closer and closer to the tome until, finally, he was shown by the tome a spell inside that contained instructions on becoming the leader of the valley of darkness. Here he was also shown some ancient energies and spells that contained magical powers that penetrated his body so that he could learn more about ancient powers and magic that could bring him to greatness.

 

"I don't want to be the leader in this valley. I don't believe in leadership anymore; I'm sick of it all!" He said it firmly as he removed the large book from in front of him.

 

Braakkkk...

 

"Aaarrgghhh!!! Shit! What is this energy? It's hot! It hurts! Please stop!"
