The spatial tunnel between the mortal world and the Grand Upper Realm was a chaotic vortex of swirling purple storms, jagged starlight, and violent spatial currents that could shred an ordinary cultivator to microscopic dust. But inside that chaotic void, a massive, sixty-foot-long dragon-like creature cut through the storms with absolute dominance. The Primordial Void Sovereign expanded its six wings of dark violet divine fire, creating an unbreakable sphere of absolute spatial isolation around its back.

Shaktivel stood tall at the center of the beast’s head, his long black hair, now fully tipped with violet flames, dancing wildly. His internal Divine Foundation base—now pulsing at the powerful Seventh Layer—roared in harmony with the beast's movements. The two fainted royal guards he had thrown onto the beast's back before leaving the palace were instantly vaporized the moment a stray spark of spatial lightning leaked past the barrier, but Shaktivel didn't even look back. His eyes were fixed on the blinding silver rift at the very end of the tunnel.

"The gateway," Shaktivel murmured, his voice laced with an icy calm.

“Contractor, the laws of the world are changing,” the Primordial Void Sovereign growled, its deep voice vibrating inside Shaktivel’s soul. “The spiritual energy behind that rift is a hundred times denser than the mortal realm. But it is also heavier. The moment we step through, the world itself will try to suppress my true form to protect its boundaries.”

"Let it try," Shaktivel cold-smiled, his fists clenching as his violet-tinted eyes flashed with an unyielding pride. "We didn't destroy an entire empire just to be suppressed by a new sky."

With a final, earth-shattering roar that shook the spatial tunnel, the Primordial Void Sovereign accelerated, slamming its massive horned body directly into the silver rift.

BOOM!

A blinding explosion of crystalline white light swallowed them whole. For a few seconds, Shaktivel felt an immense, mountain-shattering weight drop onto his shoulders. The world’s natural arrays were trying to reject his presence, recognizing him as an uninvited anomaly from the lower realms. The rich, thick spiritual Qi of the Upper Realm rushed into his lungs like liquid lead, trying to rupture his golden meridians.

"Break for me!" Shaktivel roared, channeling his Seventh Layer Divine Foundation energy. The nine Flawless pillars inside his core blazed with dark light, forcefully absorbing and refining the heavy Upper Realm Qi, turning the suppression into pure power for his own sea of consciousness.

Beside him, the massive body of the Primordial Void Sovereign began to trigger the world’s defensive laws. To prevent drawing the immediate attention of the supreme patriarchs of the high sects, the shadow beast voluntarily condensed its form, shrinking from a terrifying sixty-foot monster into a sleek, pitch-black warhound the size of a shadow leopard. Its midnight scales remained as hard as divine iron, and the violet fire in its eyes burned just as deadly.

When Shaktivel’s vision finally cleared, he found himself standing on a floating emerald peak, thousands of feet above the ground.

The view before him was breath-taking, yet suffocatingly immense. The sky was not blue, but a shimmering curtain of pale gold and violet ribbons. Massive floating islands, each holding ancient palaces and glowing spirit waterfalls that flowed directly into the clouds, drifted lazily across the horizon. Giant phoenixes with feathers of pure gold and crystalline stags roamed the distant valleys. This was the Ascendant Realm—the lower province of the Grand Upper Realm.

But the peaceful scenery was instantly ruined by a sharp, arrogant voice cutting through the mist.

"Well, well... what do we have here? A couple of lower-realm rats actually managed to survive the spatial crossing?"

Shaktivel turned his head slowly. Standing at the edge of the floating platform near a giant silver teleportation array were three young cultivators. They wore elegant, flowing white robes with silver linings—the exact same uniform as Zephyr, the messenger they had digested in the mortal palace. These were outer disciples of the High Heavens Sect, stationed to guard the lower realm boundary gates.

The leader of the trio, a young man with a prominent scar across his eyebrow named Kaelen, walked forward with his hands behind his back. His cultivation base was at the Ninth Layer of the Qi Condensation Realm, but because he was born in the Upper Realm, his spiritual Qi was much purer than any mortal cultivator. He looked at Shaktivel’s tattered, blood-stained clothes with deep disgust.

"And look at that dog he brought with him," the second disciple sneered, pointing a mocking finger at the condensed Primordial Void Sovereign. "It looks like a starved stray. Hey, beggar! Did you crawl all the way up here just to find a decent scrap of spiritual meat?"

The shadow beast’s ears twitched violently. Its violet fire eyes narrowed into two deadly slits, its tail whipping the air as it looked at Shaktivel, silently waiting for the command to unleash the void.

"Where is Envoy Zephyr?" Kaelen demanded, his voice growing cold as he drew a thin, glowing silver longsword. "He went down to that garbage Surya Empire yesterday to collect the annual tribute and investigate a minor anomaly. Why are you stepping through his personal boundary rift?"

Shaktivel walked forward, his footsteps completely silent on the emerald grass. The oppressive pressure he had been hiding inside his Divine Foundation base began to leak out, drop by drop. "Zephyr is currently resting."

"Resting? Where?" Kaelen frowned, sensing a strange, uncomfortable drop in the surrounding temperature.

"In my companion's stomach," Shaktivel cold-smiled, his voice echoing like an icy bell. "And if you three don't move out of my way, you'll be joining him for breakfast."

The three disciples froze, their faces turning from arrogance to absolute, bewildered rage. "You... you dare joke about an elite inner disciple's life?! You lower-realm trash truly don't know the immensity of heaven and earth! Kill him!"

In a flash, the two side disciples blurred forward. Their white robes fluttered as they channeled their Ninth Layer Qi into their weapons, creating two massive, twenty-foot-long crescent blades of white wind that tore through the grass, aimed directly at Shaktivel’s neck.

"Too slow," Shaktivel whispered.

He didn't even activate his beast. With a casual flick of his right wrist, Shaktivel unleashed a small fraction of his Seventh Layer Divine Foundation Qi. A wave of dark purple energy exploded from his fingers like a whip.

BANG! BANG!

The two wind blades didn't just break; they were completely obliterated into raw particles. The dark purple Qi whip continued forward with unmitigated speed, slamming directly into the chests of the two charging disciples. Their high-grade leather armor shattered instantly. Their ribs turned to dust, and they were sent flying backward like broken dolls, crashing into the stone teleportation array before slumping to the ground, dead.

Kaelen, who had been standing back with a confident smirk, completely lost his footing. His silver sword shook so violently it nearly slipped from his hand. His spiritual senses finally registered the terrifying reality of the energy radiating from Shaktivel.

"F-Foundation Establishment... Seventh Layer?!" Kaelen choked out, his voice cracking into a high-pitched whimper. "No... that's impossible! The spiritual laws of the lower realms can only support up to the Ninth Layer of Qi Condensation! How could a mortal insect form a Seventh Layer Foundation?!"

"I told you," Shaktivel said, taking another step forward, the sheer weight of his Divine presence forcing Kaelen to his knees, the grass beneath the disciple's legs shattering into fine powder. "Your sky doesn't apply to me."

“Contractor, the big array behind him is charging,” the Primordial Void Sovereign communicated mentally, its condensed form stepping up beside Shaktivel. “He has already sent a distress signal to the main sect mountain. More ants are coming.”

"Good," Shaktivel’s eyes burned with a dark, terrifying ambition as he looked at the massive silver teleportation array, which was now glowing with an unstable, bright blue light. "The High Heavens Sect took everything from my ancestors in the lower world. It is only fair that I use their own resources to rebuild my throne here."

He reached down and grabbed the trembling Kaelen by his silver collar, lifting him effortlessly. "Tell me, outer disciple... where is the nearest resource hall of your sect?"

"P-Please..." Kaelen wept, the pride of the Upper Realm completely crushed out of him by the suffocating darkness of Shaktivel’s violet eyes. "The Black-Lotus Valley... ten miles north... it holds the spirit stones for the outer region... just spare my—"

Before Kaelen could finish, the shadow beast’s jaws split open into that terrifying, endless black vortex. Without a shred of mercy, Shaktivel tossed the screaming disciple straight into the void.
