The white jade throne room, which had just witnessed the absolute annihilation of the Surya royal line, was completely silent. The thick scent of ozone and shadow fire hung heavy in the air. Shaktivel sat calmly on the throne, his long hair tipped with violet divine flames, while the newly evolved Primordial Void Sovereign coiled its massive, sixty-foot-long armored body around the dais. Its six wings of dark fire flared occasionally, scorching the broken marble floor.

In front of the throne, the massive golden scroll floating in mid-air suddenly expanded, its celestial runes pulsing with an blinding, arrogant light.

BOOM!

A column of pure, white holy light shot down from the ceiling of the palace, piercing through the clouds and shattering the roof. The pressure that descended with the light was completely different from anything the mortal realm had ever felt. It wasn't raw physical weight; it was the pressure of the Heavenly Laws themselves, designed to make all mortal cultivators fall to their knees in worship.

From the heart of the holy light, a young man stepped out. He wore pristine silver robes embroidered with the crest of a floating cloud and a golden sword—the mark of the High Heavens Sect, one of the supreme rulers of the Grand Upper Realm. He had long silver hair, and his eyes held the absolute detachment of an immortal looking at ants. His cultivation base was at the First Layer of the Core Formation Stage, an entire major realm above Shaktivel.

The envoy, named Zephyr, looked around the ruined throne room, his eyes scanning the pools of blood and the ash that was once Emperor Solon. Finally, his gaze locked onto Shaktivel and his massive shadow beast.

"A mortal insect dares to sit on a sovereign throne?" Zephyr’s voice resonated with the power of thunder, causing the remaining glass pillars in the palace to shatter into dust. "You have disrupted the balance of the lower realms. The Surya Empire was under the protection of our High Heavens Sect. Who gave you the permission to slaughter our dogs?"

Shaktivel didn't get up from the throne. He didn't even adjust his posture. He simply leaned his chin on his hand, looking at the immortal messenger with a cold, mocking smile. "Your dogs tried to bite me, so I turned them into meat paste. If you miss them so much, you can go down to the underworld and join them."

"Insolent fool!" Zephyr’s face twisted in rage. In the Upper Realm, even the patriarchs of minor sects bowed their heads when he arrived. To be mocked by a mortal realm brat was an insult he couldn't tolerate. "You think because you formed a decent Foundation and obtained a strange, mutated beast, you can defy the heavens? In the eyes of the High Heavens Sect, you are nothing but trash!"

Zephyr raised his right hand, and a magnificent silver sword materialized in his palm. The sword was a Low-Grade Earth Artifact, humming with the power of condensed wind and lightning laws. "Kneel and surrender your beast to the sect, and I might grant you a quick death. Refuse, and I will refine your soul in the heavenly furnace for a hundred years!"

“Contractor... this ant smells delicious,” the Primordial Void Sovereign’s voice echoed like a deep volcanic rumble inside Shaktivel’s mind. “Core Formation energy... if I devour him, your Third Layer Foundation base will instantly explode into the peak stages!”

"Then let's not keep your stomach waiting," Shaktivel whispered back, his violet eyes flashing with a predatory hunger that actually made the immortal envoy hesitate for a fraction of a second.

"Die, mortal!" Zephyr roared, swinging his silver sword.

A thousand-foot-long blade of condensed holy wind and white lightning erupted from the weapon, tearing through the palace floor, threatening to split the entire imperial castle in half. The attack carried the absolute power of a Core Formation expert, capable of vaporizing an entire army of Foundation cultivators.

But against the Forbidden Godly Beast, laws were meant to be broken.

The Primordial Void Sovereign let out a roar that completely drowned out the thunder of Zephyr's attack. Its six wings of dark fire expanded, creating an absolute barrier of spatial darkness around the throne. At the same time, its gigantic jaws opened wide, unleashing the fully unlocked power of the fourth seal.

The thousand-foot-long lightning blade slammed into the black vortex. But instead of an explosion, the white holy light was instantly swallowed into the void, its energy stripped, compressed, and digested within a microsecond.

GULP.

"What?!" Zephyr gasped, his immortal calm completely shattering. He stumbled back, his eyes wide with genuine terror. "It... it devoured my Core Formation law attack? That's impossible! Not even a high-tier Earth-Rank beast can do that!"

"You Upper Realm cultivators talk too much," Shaktivel’s cold voice echoed from behind the veil of darkness.

Before Zephyr could react, Shaktivel vanished from the throne. Using his Flawless Divine Foundation speed, enhanced by the spatial power of his beast, he appeared directly in the air above Zephyr. His right fist was coated in a dense, swirling vortex of dark purple Qi.

"Divine Void Fist!" Shaktivel roared, driving his fist down.

Zephyr quickly raised his silver sword to block, channeling all of his Core Formation energy into a defensive shield.

BOOM!

The impact shook the entire capital city. The silver sword—an Earth Artifact—instantly cracked under the raw physical and spatial force of Shaktivel’s fist. The defensive shield shattered into thousands of useless sparks, and Zephyr was sent crashing heavily into the marble floor, coughing up bright, golden immortal blood.

"You... your strength... you are only at the Third Layer of Foundation!" Zephyr whimpered, his silver robes now torn and stained with his own blood. He tried to stand, but the sheer gravity radiating from Shaktivel’s presence pressed him back down to the ground. "How can a lower realm mortal possess such terrifying physical power?!"

"Because my foundation wasn't built on your pathetic mortal laws," Shaktivel said, landing lightly in front of the bleeding envoy. He looked down at him, his violet eyes filled with absolute disdain. "You called me an insect. But right now, you are the one begging in the dirt."

Zephyr realized he was facing an absolute monster. He reached into his robes, pulling out a small, blue jade talisman—a Spatial Escape Scroll that could transport him back to the Upper Realm instantly. "You will pay for this, Shaktivel! When I return with the Sect Elders, your entire world will burn—"

"You're not going anywhere," Shaktivel cold-smiled.

Before Zephyr could crush the talisman, the Primordial Void Sovereign’s massive obsidian tail slammed down, crushing Zephyr’s right arm into a bloody paste against the stone floor. The talisman rolled away, useless.

Zephyr let out an agonizing, high-pitched scream, clutching his ruined shoulder.

The massive shadow beast lowered its giant head, its six wings of violet fire flaring as its jaws split open, revealing the endless black vortex right in front of the trembling envoy’s face.

“Time to eat,” the beast growled, its voice shaking Zephyr’s soul.

"No! Please! I am an elite disciple of the High Heavens Sect! If you kill me, the Sect Master will—"

Zephyr’s screams were cut short. The black vortex erupted, wrapping around his body and his Core Formation soul. The gravitational pull compressed the immortal messenger into a dense sphere of golden spiritual essence before pulling him entirely down into the shadow beast’s throat.

GULP.

The absolute silence returned to the palace.

[System Notification: Host’s Beast has devoured a First-Layer Core Formation Cultivator.] [System Notification: Unlocking the Fifth Seal... 30% completed.] [System Notification: Massive influx of Upper Realm immortal energy transferring to the Host...]

A wave of blinding golden and violet energy exploded from Shaktivel’s core. The energy of a Core Formation expert was so dense that his Third Layer Foundation base began to surge like a wild tsunami. The nine divine pillars inside his dantian roared, absorbing the golden essence and expanding to twice their original size.

CRACK. CRACK. CRACK. [System Notification: Cultivation Level Up! Host has reached the Fifth Layer of Foundation Establishment!] [System Notification: Cultivation Level Up! Host has reached the Seventh Layer of Foundation Establishment!]

When the energy finally settled, Shaktivel stood in the center of the ruined hall, his presence now so immense that the air around him literally warped and cracked from his sheer weight. The Seventh Layer of the Foundation Establishment Stage—Divine Grade.

He walked back to the gold scroll floating in the air. Without the envoy’s control, the scroll was flickering out. Shaktivel reached out his hand and forcefully grabbed the celestial scroll, pouring his dark Qi into it.

Instead of destroying it, his spatial energy forced the scroll to reveal a hidden map—a map showing the spatial coordinates and the boundary gates leading directly from the lower mortal world to the Grand Upper Realm.

"The High Heavens Sect," Shaktivel muttered, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the glowing golden coordinates. "They think they can use this world as their playground. They think they can send their disciples to judge us."

The Primordial Void Sovereign trotted over, its giant horned head nudging Shaktivel's shoulder, its violet fire eyes burning with an intense excitement. “The energy of that ant was delicious, Shaktivel. But the Upper Realm... it is filled with millions of such ants, and monsters far greater. Our true feast is there.”

"I know," Shaktivel smiled, a dark, fearless glint appearing in his eyes as he tore the golden scroll in half, absorbing its coordinates into his mind. "The Surya Empire was just the beginning. It's time to take this war to their doorsteps. Let's go see how high their heavens really are."

With a massive leap, Shaktivel climbed onto the back of the Primordial Void Sovereign. The beast opened its six wings of dark fire, letting out a roar that shattered the remaining walls of the imperial palace before launching itself straight up into the dark, swirling purple sky, tearing through the spatial boundary, heading directly toward the Grand Upper Realm.
