2022-09-13 07:09:0220 years later and the child conceived has grown into Stefan Donovan who happens to be at the royal palace overseen by Petrova Theodore.
On the frozen lake in the outskirts of the village, Elena, a female Shadow Assassin is seen having a tense argument with some soldier who came to capture her.
"So you're Elena, the Shadow Assassin who has been going around killing all the mages in the City." Petrova Theodore confronted her.
"They call me Elena, for wherever I go, heads fall on the ground, a beautiful name isn't it? '' she replied boastfully with a cheek up smile.
"Kill her," the head soldier ordered.
Immediately arrows were raised by the soldiers and fired towards Elena who loosen her hat ropes, throw it off and draw out her sword to resist the arrows into the frozen ice.
A magic arrow fired towards Elena by Petrova the head soldier almost threw her off her feet, the enchanting forces of the air held her firm.
The trop and Elena kept fighting across this frozen lake.
The head soldier fired a second frozen magical arrow towards Elena and just like a shadow, it pierced through her body.
Despite taking an arrow through the chest and bleeding out, Elena disappeared into a broken potion of the lake and made it into the nearby town. The soldiers chased her to the town on their master's order. Elena used her magical powers to fight the soldiers and retain their arrows. She was determined to stay alive no matter what.
"I will not die like this, I cannot". Elena said hiding in one of the thatch houses. She ran into a bar still bleeding heavily.
Elena approaches a woman in the back of a bar, holds her by the neck and throws her on the floor.
"What do you want?" The woman said scared. As folks began to run out of the bar due to the chaos,
Elena brings forth a strange orb from her bloody palm and begins to make enchantments, the orb in her palm begins to float in the air and colourful smoke surrounds it. As smoke protrudes out from the roof, Elena is found dead on the ground by Petrova's and his men. Petrova strips open her cloth to check the blue mark when they suddenly hear a noise from one of the drums, the little girl runs out of her hiding place to the gaze of one of the soldiers' swords placed on her throat.
"She doesn't have the blue marks," one of the soldiers said after examining the little girl's shoulder.
"The blue mark shows that her soul has left this body, does this mean she failed to transform into another body?" Petrova Theodore looked at the dead body on the floor again.

On a flame-like metal bed, Elena's body is placed to be examined.
Petrova and his men had carried the body to the Palace at Pandora. The royals examine the blue mark and wonder where her soul is.
"Morgan, come here". Morgan had just walked into the room where Petrova and the Old Reyes were.
"Is she Elena?" Morgan asked.
"Yes, this mark shows that her soul has left the body. Remember this mark when someone tries to switch bodies, it leaves a blue bruise like this right on top of their hearts " the old Reyes said, showing the mark on Elena's shoulder to Morgan.
"Does that mean her soul escaped her body?" Morgan said, looking at Petrova.
"She seemed to have tried but failed"
"This proves that her soul escaped her body, but there are no signs that her soul entered another body." Petrova continued.
Morgan went closer to Elena's dead body and noticed a whistle tied to her waist.
"It is a whistle"
"A whistle?" Petrova went closer to confirm.
"I once had a similar one myself back then when I had a pet bird," Morgan continued.
"Did she have a pet bird? Old Reyes asked Petrova.
"I think she had a pet bird for a while".
"It looks like it's a very important item then, she
must have been an assassin who killed people like it was nothing but she was still human she must have had a story of her own". Old Reyes concluded.
Petrova walked Old Reyes out of the secret room where Elena was and at the entrance he reminded him that a lot of people have already seen Elena's body and that words will spread of the wizardry of souls.
"Has it been twenty years since we last saw a soul shifter? Old Reyes enquired.
"Yes The last soul shifter went wild and started killing people, I'm worried this might happen again".
They were interrupted by an amateur mage who ran into their mist excited.
"Uncle I heard Elena was a soul shifter, Master Reyes, have you seen her too?"
"You seem awfully excited to start rumours," Petrova told him.
"But the rumors are everywhere in the village already,I came as fast as I heard about it".
"Where did you hear it?" Old Reyes asked him.
"At the Cliftons."
"You're a mage of Pandora, instead of practicing you go to bars and listen to rumors." Petrova charged at him.
"Pandora is not only for mages to practice their spells, but to also gather information and also Trevor here will follow in your footsteps and become the leader of the Pandora household. He should know his liquor." Old Reyes told Petrova in a way to calm him down.
"Now tell me what liquor tastes the best in Clifton?"he continued.
"I do not go there as often anymore, now that Stefan is not here"
"Stefan,the son of Daniel Donovan?"Old Reyes asked Trevor.
"Is he not learning how to write at the village school in Pandora Belge?"
" Ah! Old Reyes, he was kicked out of there ages ago. Right now he is in Velge ".
"I sent him to receive training from Velge". Petrova finally said after listening to these two talks.
" Uuh, uuh, so Stefan went to the Palace of Velge this time to receive training". Old Reyes sounded tired of Stefan excesses.
