The Stolen Car

Jones and the other escaped prisoners were still running at a fast pace through the woods. They are tired, sweaty and breathing heavily.

“I knew it. I knew it will get to this. Everything is just fucked up.” Kenny said, slowing down his pace.

“I never wanted to join the escape. I—I… I really don't want any of this.” Kenny stammered, trying to catch his breath. He was clearly close to despair.

With that, Jones and the other prisoners stopped running.

“How long are we going to keep running?” Paul asked out of frustration.

Everyone was tired and frustrated. They trusted Jones' plan, but it seemed like everything was going south. They got found before, and they believe the police will find them again if they don't get out of the woods now.
