ANOTHER normal morning in the extraordinary Academy. Students entering, students chatting in the hallway, students arguing, and students who were not ordinary. Loufnorths Academy had the most powerful students, exclusively for those with abilities.
The population of Theós country was divided between those who lived here— the ordinary and the extraordinary. It was the same worldwide.
They believed their abilities were a gift from the gods, but not everyone received it. A child could have abilities even if their parents were ordinary. Gaia was one of the unlucky ones not granted an ability, and she liked it that way— or so she intended.
But here she was, entering the academy where she didn't belong. The academy for those with abilities.
She clutched her book, ignoring the stares thrown her way. However, her plan to avoid trouble was shattered when she overheard a group of girls planning to confront her.
Gaia's plan to avoid trouble failed. In a matter of moments, she felt pain in her back as if pushed by an unseen force.
"Hey newbie! What tier are you in?" Gaia looked at the girl in front of her with glowing blue eyes— an elite tier.
"I-I don't have an ability..." The onlookers gasped at Gaia's response, disbelieving what they heard.
"Stop that bullshit, newbie! Loufnorths Academy is for the unordinary people, so don't lie. Maybe you're on the freshman tier, come on, show us your ability!" The girl smirked, and her two companions seemed to be waiting for a show.
"I really don't have an ability..." Gaia stuttered, trying to prevent the situation from escalating. The girl raised her eyebrow, and Gaia felt the pressure against the wall. The girl had force manipulation ability.
"You really won’t-" The girl with force manipulation ability was interrupted by another girl with ash-colored hair.
"What's the commotion over there?" All attention shifted to her. She exuded authority and high status in the academy based on her demeanor.
"Q-queen," the surrounding students chorused. As if a deity passed, the students dispersed, leaving Gaia with the girl. "You, follow me."
Gaia didn't get a chance to respond as the girl turned and started walking. Gaia followed silently. They walked until they stopped in front of a door with a sign on the side— Headmaster’s Room.
The girl entered, and Gaia overheard her talking to someone inside. After a while, the girl gestured for Gaia to enter. Inside, she saw a man sitting in a swivel chair, staring at her seriously. Gaia's eyes landed on the wooden nameplate on the desk— EZTOR KRAIG.
"Take a seat, Miss Moraitis, and Miss Lintor, kindly accompany Miss Moraitis to her dorm room later," Gaia looked at the girl when the man spoke.
"D-dorm? S-sir, can I just go home? I live—" Gaia was cut off when the man spoke again. "No buts, Miss Moraitis. That's one of the academy's rules. Here's a handbook for you to familiarize yourself with the academy's rules and regulations." Gaia took the thin handbook, shivering under the man's intense gaze.
"That's for now, you two may go." Gaia quickly composed herself and faced the girl who had accompanied her earlier. The girl had already left, so Gaia followed. However, she paused at the door when the man spoke from behind.
"Remember why you're here, Miss Moraitis. Don't do something you'll regret in the end. You've done enough and you've ki-" Gaia shut the door before he could finish. "Not now," Gaia whispered to herself.

They were leaving the Arcade Zone, and Gaia and the others had enjoyed themselves somewhat. "I'm so happy," Zeira beamed. "See, your smile is so big, like a clown," Caiz teased her. "Caaaaiz!" Zeira yelled and ran after Caiz. Gaia just laughed while watching Zeira and Caiz bicker. "Did you enjoy it, Gaia?" Gaia looked at Fier as he suddenly spoke. "Yes, I enjoyed the arcade games. Thank you for coming along," Gaia smiled. Fier averted his gaze. Gaia then looked at the girl next to Fier, Rania. She seemed to have enjoyed it too, and so far, she hadn't been unfriendly. "D-don't thank me. Zeira came up with this," Fier stammered. Gaia heard Rania chuckle, so she looked at her. "What a chicken," Rania said playfully. Fier gave her a stern look, revealing to Gaia that Rania was talking about Fier. But she didn't know what Rania meant by 'chicken.' Gaia wondered about it. "Shut up, Rania," Fier hissed before storming away. Gaia looked curiously at Fier's back. Gaia was surprised when

Gaia and the others entered a mall, and she still didn't know what they were going to do. Earlier, as they were leaving the gate, they saw Rania and Caiz insisted on bringing her along. Since then, Rania hasn't spoken."Hey Ranz! Do you want to— I said I'd just keep quiet," Gaia wanted to laugh at Caiz's reaction when Rania gave him a stern look, preventing him from speaking. Gaia observed Rania to be serious and mysterious. She had been at the Academy for a long time, but she didn't know the girl's ability."Seriously, Caiz? Arcade Zone?" They stopped in front of the arcade game zone, which Zhyke complained about when Caiz was about to enter. The latter scratched the back of his head. "It's not me who—""Gaia!" Everyone looked inside as someone called Gaia— it's Zeira. Gaia's lips parted in surprise."What are you doing here?" Gaia asked as Zeira approached them."That's what I'm going to say! Zeira invited us to come here," Caiz explained. Zeira smacked him, and it looked like they

A week has passed, meaning Zeira will be back at the Academy tomorrow. Since the incident with Gaia, Caiz and Fier have been constantly tailing her. Like today, Gaia wanted to be alone because it's Saturday—no classes. But here she is now, annoyed by Caiz dragging Fier along, who seems forced to come."Damn, you don't need to drag me, Caiz!" Fier exclaimed as Gaia opened the door. Gaia raised an eyebrow at the two, trying to figure out what they needed from her."Come with us, Gaia," Caiz said. Gaia stared at Caiz for a few seconds, about to close the door, but Caiz blocked her and entered without saying a word, taking a seat on the sofa.Gaia sighed while giving Caiz an evil look for turning on the TV. She then glanced at Fier still standing by the door. "What are you doing here, Fier? Get Caiz out of our room. Besides, boys are not allowed in the girl's dorm, right?" Gaia asked Fier, who responded only with a sigh."We're the royalties, Gaia. That's why we're an exception," Caiz ans

Two days had passed, and Lily's group was happily chatting as they headed to the mini garden for their activity. Lily led her friends ahead, mentioning that she needed to go to the restroom to freshen up first."Girls, go ahead. I just have to make sure I look good in front of Zhyke," Lily quipped with a smirk and a wink to her friends. They cheered before leaving Lily.Since they were already on the Academy grounds, Lily opted to use the restroom nearby, located at the back of the mini garden. While Lily was on her way, she grinned upon seeing a trash can, reminding her of the 'trash' she had punished two days ago. She was infuriated with Gaia for being just an ordinary friend of the three royalties."Serves her right," Lily muttered to herself, remembering what Gaia had experienced. For Lily, she had merely taught her a lesson."Really?" Lily turn

CURRENTLY, Gaia and Zeira are watching TV in their room's living area. It's six pm, and they've just finished dinner."There's another target of the HUNTER group with abilities. Authorities still can't determine the reason behind this group's targeting of people with abilities," Gaia remarks, glancing at Zeira as the unidentified group hits the news again. Zeira's eyes reflect anger and resentment towards them."I'll make sure whoever is behind that group pays," Zeira asserts, still focused on the TV, which is now showing commercials. Gaia places her hand on Zeira's shoulder, hoping to alleviate her friend's feelings of sadness and anger."I understand, Zeira. But please, don't rush into decisions," Gaia advises. I might go crazy if I didn't have someone to talk to about this," Zeira sincerely expresses her gratitude. It's been a month since Gaia joined the Academy. Within that time, she has grown close to Z
