Chap. 44 Dante's Offer

"Are you finished?" Asked the police officer.

Jonathan nodded, "Thank you, sir."

"Go back to the cell until your lawyer frees you."

"Okay, sir." Jonathan returned past Mario, who was staring at him intently.

Not long after, Dante arrived at the police station with one of his bodyguards and a lawyer. He immediately spoke to the police.

"Mario, let's go home. Our business was done here," said Vernando, who just came from the next room.

"Okay, Dad."

After both father and Son stepped foot out of the police station. A police officer called their names.

"Wait a minute, Mr. Garcia."

Vernando and Mario turned their heads.

Your Son, Mario. Must undergo a post-mortem test with the accused, Jonathan Smith."

Vernando's body tensed, hearing the word post-mortem. If this is done, then his career?

"Mr. Garcia, please bring your Son inside." The police orders.

"Come on," Vernando dragged Mario inside firmly.

"Oops, Dad. Slow down," protested Mario, who had not realized he was in the wrong position.
