Chap. 49 Die?

A series of bullets rained down where Jonathan, Dante, and Rocky tried to escape. They Jump freefall down while holding hands. They don't know how many meters they fell from above. All they felt was the cold wind streaking about their bodies, along with splashes of water from a height. The three screamed loudly, their hearts beating irregularly. They closed their eyes and could only pray. The three of them were instantly received by the surging water surface. The ripples of the water sounded very loud and seemed to indicate that the height was quite steep.

"Shit, they've already jumped down." muttered one mob member.

"So, now, how is this?" said another.

"I do not know!"

Meanwhile, the gang leader, upstream of the waterway, came over to them.

"How? Where are their bodies?"

"Sorry, Bro. They managed to get away and jumped down when we caught them. We've been trying to shoot them. I don't know if they were hit by bullets or not. One thing is certain, they've already fallen down, and we
