In a secluded mountain.

" Hmm.."

The bearded Old man leisurely turned around with a gentle strokes of his ethereal white

beard.

And as if reminiscing on something, he calmly spoke to himself , "Hmm.. Why do I feel the eminence sensational feeling that something big is about to happen! Are there really no other ways for my sect to survive in this chaos!"

His ethereal figure became more surreal, giving off an air of mystery, yet there was this intensified perceptions of looming worries evidence all over his face.

This unraveled expression that held a mystery of it's own , intensified by each seconds.

" There's nothing more that could be done than to proceed as planned! What you're becoming and what you're about to become is not a secret to start with! we only have to be steadfast in our dealings this time around."

He stood with both hands behind his back, emitted a curious but surreal smile on his face.

"Master, I still don't get it, what does that have to do with we going over to a small place as that??" The young man on a knee, quickly stood up looking at the Old man with a puzzled expression.

" You once told me, growing up is complex and constant in the journey of life. Why then should we be afraid and restrained by those schadenfreude sect! Yes they might be strong but we're not afraid of them. We don't have to lower our standard to this extent, do we!"

The Old man smiled softly and said with a peculiar expression on his face.

" We might not be inferior, but the fact remain clear. We are quite lacking behind in terms of qualities. When you think you've grown, it will be surprising to note that you're still a bit far from it. There are many things you still don't understand. "

" Life is a mystery and trust me when I say; we're all slaves to the mystery that surrounds us." The Old man looked at his apprentice and smiled again.

The apprentice although unwilling, couldn't help but bow submissively.

Some things are better left unsaid, although the Old man was a powerful figure, he was not all invisible in the world.

He looked at his apprentice who was now standing obediently and continued, "In just few days, there will be the once in 7years tournament, maybe through it, we could strengthen our sect by recruiting potential apprentices to join our ranks."

"Are the preparations all set in place?" He asked subconsciously.

"I've had five of the most trusted outer disciples to personally take care of it. And I myself supervised the process. It was all carried out accordingly."

"Hmm.. very good, if there's nothing else, you may leave!" He dismissed the apprentice with a casual waved of his hand, and went back into secluding himself into a deeper thoughts.

The apprentice seeing his master this way, bowed and quietly took his leave.

...

Mooresville village.

A fraction of the Mooresville town.

Boasted of small hundreds of housing estates of ancient civilizations structures.

Although it appeared small and insignificant on the surface, it still held its own significance influence in it's own space.

it was said to be ranked Fourthy-seven among the top 50 in the Clan's rankings. Which in terms of strength was far fetched inferior to others.

.....

Meanwhile at a mountainous scape, in a place in Mooresville..

A certain group of standout folks, fervently chased after a seemingly young folk of similar age.

The chase was intensified and full of vigorous evil intent.

By their appearance it's not deniable that they all should be within their early 20s.

Just then the young folk who was being chased suddenly stopped abruptly at the tip of a hill, his feet alarmingly grabbed a quick footings, and in so doing sent some fragments rocky particles down the abyss below.

Seeing how he had escaped the imminent disaster, He terrifyingly swallowed hard at the realization of it.

Fright evidence on his face.

If he hadn't stoped in time, the results was as much predictable and unimaginable.

However just when he was still caught up in this dilemma, a sudden voice woke him back to reality.

It was then he realized his current situation and it was as if he had been bathed with a bucket of ice water.

He quickly turned around, his expression unrelatable tense.

Caught in-between the line, and faced by the unprecedented danger, he struggled to hold a stand.

It could be seen how scared he was as he tried to take a step back, but found himself trapped with no way out.

Before him are group of hungry wolves and behind him his the gateway to hell.

One of the young folks who had been after him stared at him with playful gaze.

"Oh, your legs are quite long brother. You really went this far just to escape our grip. But you didn't expect to find yourself in such precarious situation, do you!"

" I've been wanting to see, just how far this bastard intended to run, but I must admit. He quite exceed my expectations." Said another one of the brothers in alms.

The other folks who were obviously exhausted from the long chase exhale deeply.

"We really did underestimated you." another laughed out coldly."

"Isn't he quiet interesting. Ah, ah," Said another folks with eccentric laughter.

"To think this.. this.. little thing want to replace father's love of us, is really annoying. "

"But no matter the consequences, he must be eliminated today, or else we wouldn't know how we all die if father happens to find out about this." Another one of the folks spoke with much infuriating gesture.

It's evidence that this group really do have an history with the latter.

Just then, one of the folks who haven't spoken a word since, hushed them, "Calm down brothers, now that he's under how grasp, even if the king of hell himself appear, he wouldn't be able to save him this time."

He then turned to the prey in question.

The latter seemed to be scared.

And out of fright of the possibility of the inevitable, he slowly kept his distance.

"Since it has come to this, blame yourself for your own fate. I've always told you, I'll get rid of you sooner or later. And today I'll be fulfilling that wish."

"Brother's why are you doing this to me?" The trapped Folk spoke up, obviously wary of this lecherous brothers of his, he was also calculating his escape plan.

Yes the five of them are all brothers from same father, Although they're brewed by different mothers and have their differences.

Scott was far from one.

Although he was considered a brother, it was just an innate adopted status.

Judging the fact that he wasn't a biological son of the Walker family but an adopted one.

It was said he was found when he was a baby by the Head of the family in a primitive forest while on a journey.

Although they were all raised and brewed together, they all knew the story through their mothers, infact it wasn't a secret either.

"Oh, are you trying to be ignorant at a time as this! You really think, you a lowly insignificant would steal our place in father's heart! It's nothing but your wishful thinking. After you're gone. Father would finally give us the attention we deserve."

"And to think we're just going to fold our hands and watch you do that?" The eldest among the brothers chased a questioning glare at him.

He was known as Marcus and has a peculiar aura of a peacock, proud and arrogance was his nature.

"But, I don't think that's how it's, father loves everyone and you all knows that, why blame your own predicament on me.." Scott said calmly.

"Shut up.. what right do you've to call him father. You're not even a blood of the family. Arrogant. You're nothing but an adopted son he picked by the road side." Derrick, the youngest of them spewed and rebooked Scott.

"Enough of this chitchat, let's be done with it." Alfred who was one of the four said with gritted teeth, as he clenched his fist posing to take action against Scott.

"What, what, what are you planning to do? Don't please." Scott stammered while taking a step back as the four approach with a life threatening look and grin.

Maybe it's skipped his thoughts, or it was due to the imposing threat from his brothers.

He naturally found the courage, and charge forward with a fierce and crazy momentum.

Bam..

Caught off guard, His fist connected chaotically against Desmond. Sending him crashing hard across the earth.

Seeing a loosen gap for escape, he made a quick run for it.

Knowing fully well, it was the only chance for his escape.

it's true that desperate time truly required desperate measure.

Waiting for death wasn't in his dictionary .

He went for Desmond because he was the weakest among the crew.

If Scott had gone for either of the remaining three, he would have met a backlash, for he would find himself at an odd situation.

Although this Three are young, they're martial artist in the white origin core.

Their combat skill was very inferior to that of Scott and Desmond, whom in their fort are just ordinary people with no, martial skills.

Just when Scott was about to slipped off, he was suddenly tackled back by a strong kick through the stomach.

This kick was so strong that it sent him, staggering backwards, and

Crisp...

He losed a footing and accidentally fall off the cliff but quickly held unto a bit of straw rock.

The brothers seeing this, were first frightened, as a moment of silence eluded but suddenly, they all mechanically teared into satisfied laughter.

"When next you come to this world, remember not to cross the path of we, brothers."

With this, the eldest among the brothers which was Derrick, Threw out a fierce fist, which at the wake of it was condensed in colourful Milky-force. Although not that profound could threaten the life of a low level martial artiste and the Origin core realm not to talk of someone as Scott, who doesn't have any martial cultivation.

Looking back at the skeleton king, he only took a step back. Although he seemed to hold the upper hand, he still felt unsatisfied. When I was at my peak strength, even the whole kingdom of Fallen skys will have to bow at my feet.""Fallen skys, is that what this realm was called!" Scott murmured to himself and smiled. But Scott was not just anyone. He slowly approached the throne. But just Ten feet away, he suddenly felt a chill down his spine. Because at that moment his gaze caught the skeleton gaze on the throne. Alas the skeleton was alive and it's gaze locked onto Scott like a demonic beast from the underworld. Scott suddenly felt his leg frozen by a force not to be reckon with. He had never been this powerless before. He struggled instinctly and was able to force another step forward. The skeleton on the throne glanced at Scott by the corner of his eyes.

Even Tores was stunned by it and could only out of instinct block her attack head on with both hands crossed before his face. Boom ! However he had underestimated the force behind Selene's attack. He was surprisingly pushed back two steps away and could only hold his footing by gripping tightly with his left foot. Selene slowly retrieved her fist with a smug smile and look disdainfully at Tores. Tores face was ugly and conflicted. "What..! You're also at the fourth stage of the Preliminary realm?"
