Alec and the Gordons clan mages stood in the Tier 1 area as they looked up to the sky as the moon slowly turned Blood Red , many sighed, many gripped there weapons tightly, while many prayed they are able to go back to there clan and families

After the Blood Moon fully stabilised and formed the space started contracting as the space eyes started opening slightly again just like last time

This time the space eyes was opening quite fast which showed that the level of the space gate must have increased quite a bit due to the last victory the Goblins had against the human

The space eyes took about ten minutes before it fully stabilized, it open up looking twice as big as the last time, many of the human mages were gasping as they saw the size of the space gate

This just shows that the gate was moving closer to being upgraded to an high Tier one and if they are not able to cut shut the life energy that was being supplied to the gates them it might just be upgraded after a few more Goblin v

  • Top Ten.

At the Arena, many people were already watching different water screens showing the teams they were interested in, the system of the water screen was so advanced that mages could draw in the air with their mana to interact with any of the multiple water screens they wanted to view personally, and a miniature water screen showcasing that match would pop up before them. Even outside the four axis gates, many were watching the second trial in this way. This setup was probably arranged like this because there were teams from all five Kingdoms, and it’s not like anyone would just enjoy watching multiple teams at once, since their attention would be divided. That’s why the system was deployed this way, so they could simply interact with the water screen showing the team they wanted to support. And even then, there were still many who wanted to watch more than one match at once. This new water-screen format allowed the viewers up to at least three miniature water screens, that was how citi

  • Different Opponents.

Despite keeping his eyes wide open and trying to understand how the teleportation device worked, Alec still couldn’t grasp the mechanism behind it.One moment he was in the Royal Fighting Arena of the Northern Capital; and the next, he had been teleported to a new environment he felt oddly unfamiliar with. The instant he arrived, he surveyed his surroundings and just as he suspected, there was also a light-gem behind him like the one he’d seen on the water screen before he activated his Badge.“Survival mission: Defend the Tower.”A loud voice rang out, hearing “defend the tower,” Alec took his time to study the terrain he’d been sent to. As he noticed a scatter of broken bricks and rocks placed almost purposefully, as if to allow the enemies use them for cover. He swiftly activated his Energy Eyes and looked ahead, as a blue hue lit his iris and as expected he realized the areas within the gem’s light-radius were densely packed with… something.“Hm. Why do they look more like robot

  • Getting Separated.

Immediately, Alec realized the rest of his team were already staring at him, hoping to hear his plan for how they would proceed with the second trial.Funny enough, he didn’t even have a plan yet, which made him look around, hoping he’d catch some kind of clue about how he was supposed to handle it from the teams nearby .Then he noticed most teams with more than ten members were already splitting into two groups: with one consisting of their main members, and their reserves in the other, in cases where a reserve member was particularly special, they adjusted, pulling that specialist into the main squad and sending one of their heavy hitters to the reserve team. They still didn’t know what the second trial would be, but many of these mages seemed confident they could handle whatever came with just their main team, that kind of confidence was standard among the premier institutions of all the Five kingdoms. However, for some teams that already had exactly ten members, they didn’t both

  • Suspicious.

Immediately after the time ran out, every mage who was still on the stairs was told to make their way down and exit through the portal back to the capital, where they would be fully assessed and given their rewards for their performance in the first trials. Many felt reluctant, especially those who were still stuck around the twenty-fifth step, thinking they could grit their teeth, push through, and qualify if they could surpass that one step more that was needed for qualifying. However, the moment they met the eyes of the old men, who clearly didn’t care about them, they composed themselves and moved toward the exit portal. It took a while for everyone to pass through, but when they emerged they realized they were standing in the middle of the arena and every eye was on them.Above them, a water screen replayed everything that had transpired inside the secret realm slowly, letting most realise that they must have watched every single action and things that happened inside the secre

  • First Round Ending.

From the mages’ perspective, they finally understood that with each twenty-fifth step. It’s like an upgraded dimension of sorts, just like how illusion began on the 26th step, it was clearly designed to weed out those with weaker mentalities, as the Origin World envoys don’t only want human geniuses, They want geniuses with at least some talent in mental ability; otherwise, taking such a mage would be a waste of time, since mages with weaker mental talent find it hard to enter the high-rank realm, and even if they manage to breach the gap with pills later on, it always takes a steep amount of resources to push them to the next level compared to others with normal or gifted mental affinity. This is another aspect of the first trial, which is why the minimum requirement was for the mages to be able to stand firmly on the 26th step before they would have qualified, to many of these talented mages from the top academies, such mental illusions or hallucinations weren’t enough to stop them

  • Aura Farming 2.

Alec knew the only reason he wasn’t feeling much pressure from the stairs was because of the fact that his gravity control which was a sub of his earth manipulation had reached a certain level high level, and even though he wanted to pretend it wasn’t easy for him to move on the stairs, the faint purple hue around his body made that impossible. It was as if his gravity powers were blending with the elemental particles in the air to protect him, and he had no say in it at all, like he couldn’t wish the light should go off that easily as he didn’t summon it in the first place, it had appeared like a passive ability“Alec, you know no one’s buying that we can’t move fast on these stairs, so if you keep hanging back, it’ll just look like you’re farming for attention,” Lucas who stood at Alec’s right side finally spoke up.Though Lucas wasn’t Alec’s closest friend, however; Lucas knew Alec’s tendencies well enough to see what Alec was trying to avoid and decided to warn him.“Hmmm.” Alec
