Doctor Aurelia glared. For a moment her eyes were glued to Harvey. However, a moment later she began to frown and her lips pulled back.

She began to laugh amusedly after hearing what Harvey had just said. “Your joke is hilarious. What kind of person cuts his own hand like that? That wound is so deep, you could even lose your hand forever.”

Although Doctor Aurelia laughed like that, Harvey did not laugh along with her. He just watched Doctor Aurelia without saying a single word. Until finally Doctor Aurelia turned to him. The laughter on the young doctor's lips began to fade.

Harvey looked directly into Doctor Aurelia's eyes calmly. It was as if he was waiting to be heard. “I'm not joking.”

Suddenly Doctor Aurelia furrowed her brows. She glared in disbelief at what she had just heard. “Are you out of your mind? You could be disabled for life! You should take care of your body, not destroy it like this. What you're doing could be killing yourself.”

"Shoot them!"Dom's voice screeched like the barking of a cornered dog.The next second, explosion after explosion was deafening. The firelight from the muzzle of the gun flashed in the dark room. A loud bang echoed, bouncing off the narrow walls and making everything feel like a battlefield.Bullets slammed into the walls, tore through furniture, and showered the air with concrete chips and wood fragments.Dom immediately flopped down, face down while covering his head with both hands. His body shivered... but not from fear. Instead, a satisfied chuckle slipped from his throat, echoing behind the screech of gunfire."Feel it! You're all dead!" he shouted with a chuckle. "That's what happens when you fight Dom!"Dom gritted his teeth. His breath was still coming in gasps, but his chest was heaving with satisfaction. He thought-no, he was sure-that the two most dangerous people were already pieces of flesh. No human could survive such a fierce hail of bullets. However, that puffed-up h

Although he continued to struggle, Alex's strength seemed endless. Finally, Dom gave up. His shoulders dropped, gasping for air. But his eyes were still wild, trying to find an opening. The car they were traveling in made no sound other than the roar of the engine. Inside, the pressure was thick.Dom stole a glance at Harvey sitting across from him-the man was still silent, his hands clasped together, his cold gaze piercing Dom as if judging the contents of his mind.Damn, Dom thought. Harvey's gaze darted toward his men. Not a word was spoken, but their body language was clear enough. One by one, they exchanged glances—a silent understanding was formed. These men were not only cowards, they could also be an important source of information.Rein moved first. Calmly, he touched the shoulders of Carter and Rachel, the two children among the ten who could still think clearly. They turned their heads, their eyes seeking reassurance.Rein simply raised a finger to his lips. Silence.Carter and Rachel nodded slowly, hiding their nervousness behind forced calm.Meanwhile, Harvey gave a faint smile. He slowly withdrew his dominant aura, like a lion hiding its fangs. He knew: the man in front of him needed to feel confident, so his mouth would open more easily. He crossed his arms, his eyes seeming to appraise the man from the tips of his shoes to the pores of his face.“But... to avoid any mistakes, could you explain in more detail what kind of children you’re looking for?

A soft rumbling sound filled the room as Harvey exhaled deeply. In an instant, the atmosphere around him changed—it became heavy and oppressive. The air seemed to vibrate. From the palms of his hands, ki energy flowed rapidly, so strong that the floor beneath him creaked slightly. The walls seemed to shiver, and everyone held their breath. For a moment, the world fell silent—as if time itself bowed to that power.Jordan stepped closer, his brow furrowed.“General...” his voice was almost broken. “You deliberately released that much energy, didn't you?”Harvey only nodded slowly. With great care, he touched his palm to Rachel's forehead. The child’s body reacted immediately. Beads of sweat appeared from her pores, dampening her pale face. Her breath came in short gasps, as if trying to keep up with the flow of foreign energy entering her body.Jordan was startled. Without hesitation, he knelt beside Rachel. The tip of his finger touched the child’s forehead, channeling a thread of ki e

The five people—including Harvey—moved quickly. They checked each of the ten unconscious children one by one. Their fingers touched their necks and wrists, feeling for pulses. Some opened their eyelids to check for pupil response. Others examined their bodies, looking for signs of injury, bruising, or hidden symptoms of illness.Allison stopped beside a young boy. He lay there breathing heavily, his left leg wrapped in stiff bandages and tied to a dull wooden splint. She peeled back the makeshift bandage and frowned.“They even torture children like this...” she whispered softly, her voice almost a growl.Slowly, Allison placed her palm on the boy’s leg. Her eyes closed briefly, and she took a deep breath. A faint glow emanated from Allison’s hand—the ki energy she was carefully channeling. She knew her abilities weren't as strong as Harvey's, but for fractures like this, she could still handle it on her own. She wasn't reckless. If the injury affected vital organs, she wouldn't take

One by one, the small bodies collapsed, lying limp on the floor, unable to see what happened next. The screams were enough to tell them what had happened. Allison had clearly made her move. After making sure all the children were unconscious, Jordan let out a heavy sigh. His eyes glanced briefly in the direction of where Allison was, then shook his head slowly.“She should have paid attention to her surroundings,” he muttered. “There are too many children here...”When Harvey and Jordan looked at Anderson, they fell silent for a moment. The man lay on the floor with his face covered in blood, his jaw shattered—the result of Allison's brutal stomp. At first glance, the attack could have taken his life.
