Chapter 1
“Finally, it's done.” Harvey smiled after putting some lettuce in the lunch box. The color combination of the fruit, lettuce, and some of the other foods was very nice to look at. This was enough to make Harvey feel happy. “Oh, I didn't expect it to be this good.”
Harvey quickly closed the lunch. Then he got ready to drive her to the office where his wife worked. As he usually did. Harvey's wife worked in the city center, so he needed a scooter to reach the office. It was quite a journey that exhausted him due to the hot sun during the journey. Harvey arrived at a large building. Then he entered the building. However, the doorman there did not seem very friendly to Harvey. The doorman who was sitting reading a newspaper clicked his tongue when he glanced over. “You again. Just go in and finish your business! You don't need to fill out the visitor's book.” Harvey continued his journey to his wife's study. It was not only the doorman who looked down on Harvey, but also the people who worked inside. One woman even furrowed her brow. Her lips curled downward. “He... I saw him a few times. Is he the husband of the rumored Miss Whitley?” “Shush! Why are you talking like that? He is not her husband. That man is just a caterer who delivers food. Besides, would the beautiful and perfect Miss Whitley choose such an ugly man for a husband?” “Ah, yes. You're right, tho.” They were talking quietly, but that didn't mean Harvey couldn't hear them. However, Harvey did not want to respond to that. It was natural for these people to say such things. Because Whitley was a highly respected woman in this office. She even had the looks and body of a model. Harvey, on the other hand, was someone who didn't have a job. Of course, everyone thought Harvey was not Whitley's man. Harvey walks away and enters an elevator. When the elevator door was about to close, someone held the door. Then a man dressed in a cream-colored suit entered and pressed the button for the 4th floor. Since he entered, Harvey's face had changed slightly. Harvey recognized this man. He was Andreas Brown. The person Whitley was working with. However, he liked Whitley even though he knew she already had a husband. Andreas realized that he was being watched. He turned his head and looked at Harvey from bottom to top. A slight smirk was painted on his face. “You're... you're delivering catering to Whitley again? You'd better stop. She won't eat it.” Harvey furrowed his brow. He looked straight ahead, paying no attention to Andreas who continued to brush him off. “None of your business.” Hearing that, Andreas chuckled. “You faithfully do this every day, but you don't even know that Whitley doesn't eat it at all? You really are useless, Harvey.” Harvey turned his head while glancing sharply at Andreas. The man's smile looked very annoying in Harvey's eyes. “You don't know anything, Andreas. You don't know conjugal relations at all.” Andreas laughed and shook his head. He thought Harvey's words were hilarious. He doesn't seem to have any empathy for Harvey's offense. A moment later, the elevator doors opened. Right on the floor where Andreas was headed. “Oh, this is a sign I need to get away from someone like you. Someone who is useless. Oh yeah, tell Whitley I'll take her out to eat tomorrow.” After saying that, Andreas smiled with satisfaction as he walked out. Leaving Harvey who looked at him sharply. Harvey didn't let go of his gaze until it was blocked by the closing elevator doors. “You bastard...” A real man would know not to bother a woman who already has a partner. However, it seemed like Andreas' vein of shame had been broken. He even deliberately provoked Harvey like that. Harvey let out a long breath. People like Andreas had always existed. Until one day, Harvey would not remain silent if he was insulted like that. The elevator opened on the 6th floor, where Whitley was. Harvey took a deep breath. Then he let out a big smile. In order to get rid of the annoyance after meeting that jerk. With steady steps he headed for a room with a black door. He knocked on it three times. A moment later the door opened. A large, beautiful eye peeked out from behind the door. It was Whitley Smith. Harvey's wife. Harvey smiled as he picked up the lunch he was carrying. “Whitey, I'm coming.” Whitley immediately opened the door and stood there. As if preventing Harvey from entering. She folded her arms across her chest. Harvey then handed him the lunch he had made. “I brought this for you, Whitley. As usual. You must be hungry--” “I'm not hungry!” Whitley answered immediately without waiting for Harvey to finish his sentence. Harvey wrinkled his forehead. “I've made lunch for you. I guarantee it tastes really good--” Whitley immediately grabbed the lunch in the small bag. His blue eyes glared at Harvey. “Stop it already. I'm not taking any more of this from you. I've already got food anyway.” Harvey tilted his head. He was quite surprised by Whitley's sudden outburst. “Have you eaten?” “Yes, I ate. Together with Andreas.” Whitley answered Harvey firmly. She then looked at the lunch container Harvey had brought. “I don't need this!” Whitley rudely threw the lunch into the trash. It made Harvey open his eyes wide. His chest hurt when Whitley did that. However, Harvey endured it. Only his face turned bright red. Whitley clucked his tongue. “I don't need you to keep coming to this office. Get the hell out of here! I don't want to see your face for tomorrow and beyond. Get out or I'll call security.” Harvey frowned. He turned around and walked away. He could hear the door slamming behind him. Harvey felt the need to calm down, so he took a walk in the garden and sat there. Whenever Shawn was in a bad mood, he did this every now and then. Sitting there for a long time while feeling the breeze would make him become more relaxed. However, it seemed like he was too lost in thought to notice that the sun was almost all the way down. Harvey hurriedly stood up and walked home. “I stayed out too long.” When Harvey arrived home and parked his motorcycle, he saw several cars that he recognized. They belonged to the Smith family. It looked like they were having a family party inside. Harvey frowned. “If there's a family party, why wasn't I invited? I'd better go in to make a good impression.” Harvey smilingly entered the house. However, he was surprised to find that not only the Smiths but also Andreas Brown were at the party. He casually stood next to Whitley with one arm around her. Even Whitley was smiling happily. Harvey immediately glared and furrowed his brows. “Whitley? What's going on? Why is Andreas here?” Harvey's words brought all attention to him. The looks in those eyes were very sarcastic towards Harvey. Even the atmosphere turned very serious. Whitley, who had been smiling, also dropped her lips. The woman saw this as an opportunity. She let out a loud voice that the whole room could hear. “Everyone, I have an important announcement. It's very exciting news. I'm divorcing Harvey!” Harvey suddenly opened his eyes wide. His body was rooted to the spot. Didn't he hear it wrong?Expand

The Great Commander Strikes Back Chapter 317-1
Duskvale had been abandoned. The streets that were usually bustling were now deserted, leaving only silent buildings and the wind blowing without witnesses. Not many figures were visible. Harvey's men had completed their task neatly. However, for Harvey himself, the situation was far from good. The poison in his body had not yet subsided. Every time he tried to exert himself, his body refused—his muscles felt heavy, his strength never gathering. The poison was too strong, clearly not ordinary poison.Harvey jumped onto the roof of the building and stood at the edge. In the distance, the sun had shifted to orange, its light stretching between the empty buildings. He took a deep breath, forcing his body to be alert. The promised time was almost up—only minutes before they arrived.Soon after, the roar of propellers broke the silence. A helicopter descended low. Qwentin and Liam jumped out, landing right in front of Harvey. The smiles on their faces were effortless, full of satisfaction.

The Great Commander Strikes Back Harvey 316-2
Harvey was completely cornered. The mafia dressed as police grinned smugly at this. They could already imagine how they would be free to do whatever they wanted if Harvey lost here.Their leader pressed the barrel of his gun against Harvey's head. "You're feeling very dizzy, aren't you? No matter how good your regeneration technique is, you won't have enough energy to do it perfectly."Harvey opened his eyes wide. He was lying on the ground with multiple bullet holes in his body. His wounds could still heal, but the speed at which they did so had decreased dramatically. Liam had really taken this into account. Harvey's energy was depleted from treating Karz, the poison bullets weakened his recovery rate, and now these fake cops were going to finish him off. He had already cornered Harvey to this point. Even before they met.The men also pointed their guns at Harvey."Goodbye, General."They pulled the triggers simultaneously. The sound of gunfire echoed again. They laughed hystericall

The Great Commander Strikes Back Chapter 316-1
As soon as Harvey and his group arrived in Southvale, they knew something was wrong. There were no patrols. No guards. Harvey knew immediately—they were too late.Inside the police station, the scene confirmed it. The police officers were hanging upside down in their cells, their hands tightly bound. Some were still moving weakly, breathing heavily. Blood dripped slowly from their heads as they hit the floor.Someone ran up to Harvey, who had just stepped off the speedboat. His face was pale, his breath labored. "Help us. The police are being held hostage," he said quickly. "The remnants of the Southvale mafia are starting to run wild. They're not afraid anymore." He looked at Harvey, his eyes trembling. "If you don't move now, Southvale will be destroyed overnight."It didn't take Harvey long to figure it all out. His jaw tightened. He handed Karz's body to Allison."Take him to the headquarters in Duskvale," he said briefly. Then his eyes turned to Jordan and Niel. "You two take c

The Great Commander Strikes Back Chapter 315-3
Harvey only glanced at him briefly. His gaze was sharp, cold, leaving no room for discussion. He did not respond.Instead, his eyelids slowly closed. His breathing slowed, but never completely calmed. Around him, something invisible began to move—a thin stream of prana, glowing faintly, like fragments of light that could not be seen by the naked eye.He drew it in. Little by little. Like someone drinking dew from the air. His face remained stiff, but his temples throbbed. His concentration was not only on Karz's body, but also on himself—keeping the two colliding streams of energy from destroying him from within.Karz stared at him for a few seconds. Then, he closed his eyes again."You're really reckless," he muttered softly.Karz could feel it. It wasn't just warmth—it was something much deeper. The energy of life wasn't just flowing, it was forming. Like invisible hands reweaving what had been destroyed. The essence.Slowly, layer by layer, the damaged foundation was rebuilt. Not p

The Great Commander Strikes Back Chapter 315-2
Harvey led Karz into a cave. His steps were steady, but his face was tense. The light from outside slowly faded, replaced by the cold gloom of damp rocks. The sound of their footsteps echoed softly off the walls.Jordan followed behind. His breathing was irregular. Sweat dripped from his temples. His body screamed to stop. But he kept walking. Not because he was strong. Because he knew—right now, Harvey needed him. And that was enough.Harvey finally stopped. He lowered Karz's body gently to the ground, treating it as if it were fragile. After that, he sat down in front of him, his knees touching the stone floor. His gaze did not shift from Karz's face."Your life force is weakening," he muttered. "I have to restore it."Karz's eyes blinked slowly. The light in them was dim, like a star about to go out. His gaze was no longer focused—the cave walls seemed layered, shadowy, as if the world was beginning to recede from him."You... have done your best," he said softly. His breath falter

The Great Commander Strikes Back Chapter 315-1
"I'm so tired!" Niel complained as he collapsed onto the ground. His wet clothes clung coldly to his skin. His chest rose and fell irregularly, his breathing labored as if his lungs were being squeezed. His fingers trembled uncontrollably, a bluish color beginning to spread across his skin. Niel's head felt heavy, his vision blurred, and sleep pressed hard from within. He wanted to close his eyes—just for a moment. But his mind held him back. His group members might still need him.Niel immediately forced himself to get up and scanned his surroundings with a heavy gaze. Allison was sitting not far from him, one hand supporting her body on the ground, her shoulders rising and falling rapidly. She glanced up, her face pale, her breathing labored—the same exhaustion clearly weighing her down. On the other side, Jordan sat silently, focused on recovering, an aura of healing vibrating faintly around him. There was nothing unusual about their condition. Since the trap island had been destro
