Harvey opened the metal door to the rooftop.

The night wind greeted him with a cold swish that hit his face. The sky was pitch black, lit only by the city lights in the distance.

The rooftop was empty, as if no one was there. But Harvey knew better than anyone else-empty didn't mean safe.

He steps steadily toward the center of the rooftop. His leather shoes stomped on the concrete with a quiet rhythm.

His eyes sweep around. He stopped, then stared into the dark corner behind the large water tank.

"Come out," he said quietly, but firmly.

For a moment nothing happened, until finally, from the shadows, a figure slowly emerged.

His steps were almost silent. A man dressed all in black, with a cloth mask covering his face, blending in perfectly with the night. His every movement was like a living shadow-smooth and without echo.
