Tasar and Varhir stood, uncertain who this man was or which group of outlaws surrounded them. After four days of travel, they believed their journey would proceed smoothly. Yet, here they were, facing their first major obstacle. Scarblade, his face set in a mask of hatred, turned to the group leader. "It's been more than 10 years, you cunt," he spat. "I didn't want to believe the rumors that you were dead after that Nightwalker scratched you. But now, Colton Blankley, I'm more than happy to see you alive with your stupid group. Richard, after listening to everything the Green Spirit had to say, spoke up. "I knew you weren't as guilty as they made you out to be. This realm is full of evil and monsters, all fixated on capturing you. Why not confront those mages and wipe them out? You elves concern yourselves with trivial matters, ignoring what truly matters. Chapter 4 - Shadows in Whimsy Woods
One day before the royal elves departed toward the Corby's group, Tasar entered the room where Richard was still sleeping and sat down, waiting for him to wake up. After a few hours, Richard woke up, startled by Tasar's fixed gaze. Tasar stood up, walked to the door, and closed it, saying, "Good morning. I hope you got a good rest. I want to praise your performance in The Forgegate Showdown, but I'm sorry to tell you this. Tomorrow, you will be escorted to Volsa's Castle because one of our idiot guards overheard the dwarf prince and me talking about you and, of course, The Green Spirit. Grey Scorpion argued, "It's not my fault; you're the one who said to let him have some fun, right? And I did try to trick him into killing the boy, but he turned out to be much smarter than I thought." The man he was speaking with stood up and walked over to Grey Scorpion, saying, "This is the last time I'm telling you to go and capture that Green Spirit." With that, he opened a gate, and Grey Scorpion headed towards it. An old mage entered the room and said, "Our boss, Tesior, we found the Green Spirit. He's headed to Huydale's castle with some elves." Tesior replied, "Great! Since there's a battle happening there, we'll join in. Send 200 mages to ambush him in the Silvershade Mirage's Forest, and have 10 mages spread out around the castle to stop him if he tries to run. And if the elves try to protect him, take them out. I want that Green Spirit brought back to me alive."5 days earlier "Are you planning to kill me?" Richard inquired, his voice tinged with apprehension.

After three days, Richard was still in the hospital. Some strangers had found him unconscious in the middle of the street. When he finally woke up after a long sleep, he found his mother standing beside him. As soon as she noticed he was awake, she exclaimed, "Doctor, he woke up! Darling, what happened to you? I was so worried!" With a scared voice, Richard asked, "You found me in the cave, right?" Jean, noticing his frightened tone, replied, "A cave? There are no caves in Nevada. Are you okay, son? Some people saw you on the street and called the police." Richard shook his head, trying to make sense of it all. "It's okay. I think that was just a dream. But the nurses didn’t see the wound on my shoulder because I didn’t see any bandage on it!" Jean looked him over, saying, "Let me see." She examined both his shoulders and found nothing.
