As Luna made her way towards the passage leading to Eldoria, apprehension gripped her. The darkness of the passage loomed before her, an ominous gateway to the unknown. Pausing to ensure she was alone, Luna steadied her breathing, attempting to quell the rising fear within her.
"All right, Luna... it won't hurt that much. How painful can it be?". She murmured, her voice a whisper of reassurance to herself. Summoning her courage, she spoke words of resilience, determined to conquer her trepidation. "Let fear be the wind beneath my wings, and I shall soar above it, undefeated". She mumbled, her resolve firm as she stepped into the passage. In an instant, Luna was transported to the Elven Realm of Eldoria. Like everyone had told her the consequences of not having a Realmwalker, the abrupt transition had left her sprawling on the ground, her body pulsing with pain as if thousands of needles had pierced her flesh, draining her energy. Gasping for breath, Luna collapsed to her knees, overcome by agony. Slowly, she forced her eyes open, the ache lingering in every fiber of her being. Expecting the break of dawn, Luna was instead greeted by the vibrant hues of midday in Eldoria. Colors burst forth in a dazzling display, painting the landscape in a kaleidoscope of nature's beauty. Throughout her life, Luna had only known three colors, white, black, and grey. But here, in the Kingdom of Eldoria, she beheld a panorama of colors she had never imagined. The sky stretched overhead in a canvas of cerulean blue, adorned with wisps of cottony clouds tinged with hues of pink and gold. The verdant landscape unfolded before her, bathed in the gentle glow of sunlight filtering through the canopy of ancient trees. Emerald foliage danced in the breeze, while flowers of every hue carpeted the forest floor in a breathtaking tapestry of life. Streams meandered through the landscape, their crystalline waters sparkling like diamonds in the sunlight. As Luna took in the splendor of Eldoria, she felt someone standing beside her. She looked up and was greeted by an angry elf shooting daggers at her direction. He was wearing an armor, had a sword in his hand. "I see we have visitors from Abyssia". He said. His long, golden hair shining in sunlight. Luna was feeling very dizzy. "I have come to see King Thalion". She said in a low, tired voice. That was because her whole energy was drained. "Do you think I'm a fool that I'll let you go inside?". The guard crouched and grabbed her hair. "Tell me, Greywing.. why the hell did you trespass? Why are you here?". He gritted his teeth, his grip on her hair tightening. "I swear I'm here to talk to King Thalion. He knows about my arrival". Luna groaned in pain. "Why should I believe you?". He asked. "If you don't believe me, go ask His Majesty". She said. "How about decapitating you right here?". He retrieved his sword. "No, please". She cried. "You can do whatever you want but please just go and ask him first". The elf took a deep breath, contemplating. "LIRELLE". He called a fellow elf. He walked at her. "Oh? What is The Greywing doing here?". "I want you to have an eye on her till I come back". The elf said. "Sure". Lirelle nodded. "Why is she here anyways?". "We'll know soon". The elf replied and walked away. ××××××× King Thalion sat in the Throne Room on his throne, talking to his son, Prince Elion, who was standing in front of him, talking. King Thalion had a golden crown on his head, it was intricately wrought into delicate filigree patterns that intertwined like vines of ivy. Elion had the same on his head but it was silver in color. "I suggest we change our rules, Make them more stronger. The Felgroth are becoming powerful and rebellious day by day". Elion said. "You're right, son.. I fear they may try to attack our Kingdom once again". Thalion nodded. "I want you to double the security in the city". "Sure, Your Majesty". Elion bowed politely. The door opened and the elf guard stepped inside. "Your Majesty". He bowed as he approached nearer. "What is it?". Thalion asked. "The Greywing, Luna Fireheart just trespassed our territory". He told. Elion looked back at him, eyes widened in surprise. "Luna? I thought she had given up". Thalion murmured. "Where is she?". Elion asked. "She's at the passage". The elf guard replied. Elion moved towards him angrily. "Did you treat her badly?". The elf kept quiet in response. "I'll kill you!". Elion glared at him. Thalion stopped him before he advanced towards him. "Elion! Stop the madness". He commanded. Elion stopped in his tracks. "Pardon, your Majesty". "You". Thalion turned to the guard. "Being her in". The elf guard nodded and turned around to leave. ××××××× Luna was still on the ground, being watched by Lirelle. She was feeling so weak and nauseous. She wanted to have a look around but it was difficult to keep her eyes open now. Soon, the guard arrived with a carriage and took her with him to the palace. In the city, everything was colored in shining, lively colors. The she-elves were working in the streets, soldiers talked to each other while enjoying drinks and children played on the streets. They eyed her curiously as she passed near them. Finally, the carriage driver halted and the guard got off. "Come with me". He said. Luna got off slowly, trying to keep her balance and that's when she saw the Elven Palace. The palace of Eldoria stood as a testament to the timeless beauty and elegance of elven architecture, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the forest. From the outside, the palace appeared as a majestic structure woven seamlessly into the natural surroundings, its graceful spires and towers reaching skyward like the branches of ancient trees. The exterior of the palace was adorned with intricate carvings, depicting scenes from elven mythology and folklore. Vines of ivy wound their way around the walls, while colorful blooms cascaded from hanging baskets, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. Tall arched doorways led into the palace grounds, guarded by statues of elven warriors and mythical creatures. As one entered the palace, they were greeted by a grand foyer bathed in soft, golden light filtering through stained glass windows. Marble columns rose to support the vaulted ceiling, their surfaces adorned with delicate carvings of leaves and flowers. Elaborate tapestries lined the walls, depicting scenes of elven history and culture, while intricately woven rugs covered the polished marble floors. The main hall of the palace was a sight to behold, with its soaring ceilings and opulent furnishings. A grand staircase led up to the upper levels, its banisters adorned with finely wrought ironwork. Massive crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the room, while tall windows offered panoramic views of the surrounding forest. Throughout the palace, lush gardens and tranquil courtyards provided peaceful retreats for contemplation and relaxation. The sounds of birdsong and trickling water filled the air, creating an atmosphere of serenity and harmony within the palace walls. The elf guard lead Luna inside the throne room. Elion turned around at the sounds of the doors opening. His lips curved into a small smile as he saw Luna's face. The guard bowed and left. Luna bowed slowly. "Your Majesty". She then locked eyes with Elion. "Your Highness". "Welcome, Luna". Thalion greeted her. "I'm sorry if the guards treated you badly". "It's ok". Luna replied. "They were doing their jobs". "So, you're on your mission?". Thalion asked. "Yes, I successfully made the fallen angels believe that I'm the part of them and the news reached the Dark King. He also sent me greetings. I also learnt a lot about Darkland". She told, shifting from one foot to another. Elion took slow steps towards her, sensing something weird. "Very well.. you can stay in Eldoria for as long as you want.. be my guest". He said. "Thank you, Your Majesty. Angel Gabriel told me to ask you to help me learn sword fighting. It might come in handy". She responded. "Sure, my son, Elion is the Chief of the Elven Army, he will teach you himself". Thalion nodded. "I appreciate that.. thank-". Before she could complete, her vision blurred. "LUNA!". Elion shouted and ran at her before she could fall down. She fell into her arms, unconscious. ×××××××

Morning light poured into the healing chamber, casting a golden glow over Luna’s face. A slow, delicate flutter of her eyelashes sent Elion’s heart hammering in his chest. Then, with a quiet breath, her eyes opened. He froze. For a moment, he thought he was dreaming. He had spent the last two days fearing he would never see those eyes again. His grip on the armrest tightened as his vision blurred with unshed tears."Luna..." His voice came out hoarse, barely above a whisper. She turned her head slightly, her gaze meeting his. There was a quiet confusion in her expression, as if she herself couldn't believe what was happening."I... woke up?" she murmured. Her own voice startled her. "I shouldn't be alive."Elion exhaled shakily, reaching forward, brushing his fingers against hers. “You ARE alive.” His thumb ran over her knuckles, grounding himself. “And I’m never letting you go again.”Luna blinked at him, taking in the exhaustion written all over his face—his unkempt hair, his slight

Elion walked into the healing room, his steps slow and heavy. His body was feverish, his skin damp with sweat. His dark hair was tousled, strands falling over his forehead. The laces of his shirt hung loose, exposing the sculpted lines of his chest. The small cat padded in behind him, its sharp eyes fixed on his every movement. The magic cloud surrounding Luna had begun to fade, wisps of shimmering energy dispersing into the air. She lay still, her face pale but peaceful. He lowered himself onto the chair beside her, his fingers trembling as he reached for her hand."Luna." he whispered, his voice raw. He swallowed hard, his heart pounding. "I never told you… how much I love you."His thumb brushed over her knuckles, tracing the delicate lines. "I dream about you. About us. A life beyond battles and bloodshed. Waking up beside you every morning, calling you mine. Watching you smile as the sun touches your face."His breath hitched, and he exhaled shakily. "I would show you the world,

As the morning light seeped through the high windows of the Citadel, Mara and Veylan stood near the grand wooden table, the ancient scroll between them. The others were still asleep, exhaustion keeping them in their chambers, but Mara and Veylan had much to discuss.Veylan’s fingers traced the edges of the scroll. “This holds power beyond reckoning.” he murmured. “And yet, ‘tis but a mere piece of parchment. The incantations it contains... They are not meant for just anyone.”Mara folded her arms. “It troubles me. The Greywing carries it, yet Noah—when I spoke to him—was unwilling to tell me much. He is wise, yet he evaded my questions. There is something they do not reveal.”Veylan nodded, his gaze darkening. “And why should they? The Crown Prince of Eldoria, a human of great intellect, and the Beta of the strongest werewolf pack do not accompany an ordinary traveler. Luna is more than they claim.” He exhaled sharply. “She is the Greywing. That alone makes her unique. But there is mo

The next morning, the heavy doors of the healing chamber creaked open as the servants entered, their expressions grim. Veylan, who had stood watch near the window, turned at once, his sharp gaze falling upon them. One of the elder servants stepped forward, bowing his head. “My lord, we hath searched through tomes both ancient and forbidden, yet no record speaks of such ailing as this.”Mara’s fingers tightened around the edge of Luna’s bed. “None?” she asked, her voice laced with disbelief. “Not a verse, nor whisper of affliction akin to this?”The servant shook his head. “Nay, my lady. The scrolls tell of many a curse, wounds both of flesh and spirit, yet none match the plight of the Greywing.”Veylan exhaled, his brow furrowing. “Then our knowledge is wanting. If the wisdom of old doth not yield an answer, we must seek it elsewhere.”Mara nodded solemnly, then glanced toward the others. Elion sat beside Luna, his fingers still wrapped around hers, though exhaustion weighed heavily u

A while later, Elion, Luna and Aldric arrived at the Citadel of Thirteen Spires, descending onto a spacious balcony. The moment the enchanted carriage landed, Veylan, Mara, and Noah hurried out to meet them.Elion stepped down first, his expression tight with concern as he carefully lifted Luna into his arms. She was alarmingly light, her breathing shallow.Veylan’s gaze landed on Elion, and for a brief moment, surprise flickered in his eyes. Then, with the utmost respect, he inclined his head. “Your Highness.” he greeted solemnly. The Crown Prince of Eldoria. The title alone carried weight, enough to silence those around them.Elion barely acknowledged the formalities, his focus entirely on Luna. Without hesitation, Veylan led them inside, past towering archways and long halls lined with watching eyes. The wizards, whispering in hushed tones, stepped aside, their gazes shifting between Elion and the unconscious woman in his arms.“The Greywing.” some murmured in awe, their voices bar

Aldric arrived at the cave with the men, their footsteps echoing softly as they approached Elion, who was still by Luna’s side. The air was thick with tension and urgency, and Aldric’s eyes immediately went to Luna. She looked even more fragile than before, her breathing shallow and uneven.Elion stood up as Aldric approached, his eyes dark with worry. "How is she?" Aldric asked, his voice low but filled with concern.Elion shook his head, his face grim. "She's weak, Aldric. Her body’s barely hanging on. I’ve tried everything I can, but..." His words trailed off, the helplessness evident in his tone. One of the men accompanying Aldric, a tall figure with dark robes, stepped forward. He raised his hands, muttering an incantation under his breath. The air shimmered for a moment, and a soft, glowing cart materialized in front of them. It hovered gently above the ground, its wooden frame surrounded by faint, ethereal light. The cart looked sturdy, with high sides to keep the passengers sa

The streets of Duskwatch whispered. Shadows stretched and shrank, watching silently from the corners where the lantern light dared not reach. The city was alive in its own way, murmuring in the cold night air. Every step Aldric and Noah took echoed softly on the cobblestone streets, swallowed quickly by the quiet hum of unseen life.Noah flinched as something leaped in front of him from the darkness—a small wizard child, giggling before vanishing into an alley as quickly as he had appeared. Aldric chuckled at Noah’s wide-eyed stare.“Stay close.” Eryndra murmured. Her voice carried the weight of old tongues, laced with the ancient dialect of Arcania. “The young ones play, but the city watches. It always watches.”An owl hooted in the distance, a deep, knowing sound. Somewhere far ahead, a sudden clatter echoed—ceramic shattering, hurried footsteps retreating. Fireflies drifted lazily through the air, their golden glow casting eerie reflections on the glass panes of the towering buildi

After finishing their meal, they sat for a while, letting the warmth of the cooked fish settle in their stomachs. The cold air still nipped at their skin, but the energy from the food renewed their strength. The penguins had retreated, still eyeing Noah warily, while the sea stretched ahead, dark and endless.Luna stood first, brushing off the snow from her coat. “We should get moving.”Aldric stretched his arms. “Finally. We’re wasting time here.”Noah let out a sigh, adjusting his gear. “I was starting to enjoy this place.”Elion, who had been standing quietly, turned to Luna as they neared the entrance of the passage. It loomed before them, an icy tunnel carved into the glacier, dark and uncertain. A gust of wind howled through it, as if warning them of what lay ahead.Luna hesitated.Elion, noticing her stiffness, stepped closer. He took her gloved hands in his and squeezed gently. “Two more passages to go, love.” His voice was soft, reassuring. “We’ve made it this far. We’ll make
Chapter 39
Luna stepped carefully over the ice, her breath visible in the frigid air as she watched a group of penguins waddle along. Their little feet slapped against the snow, their sleek bodies sliding into the icy waters with effortless grace. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she turned to Aldric."They're adorable." she said. "Do they live here all year round?"Aldric, standing beside her, nodded. "Most do. They’re built for the cold. Thick layers of fat keep them warm, and their feathers are waterproof."Luna crouched down as one particularly curious penguin hopped closer, tilting its head at her. She reached a careful hand out, but the penguin let out a small squawk and flapped its wings before scuttling away. Luna giggled.A few feet away, a group of seals lay sprawled lazily across the ice, their round bodies barely moving except for an occasional scratch or yawn. Aldric pointed towards them."Seals are pretty common around these parts too. They spend most of their time in the water
