"Help him!" Reinson ordered his men. He then glared at Javon angrily. "Javon, how dare you cause trouble in here!"

"Deputy Captain Reinson, you can't wrongly accuse me," Javon replied with an innocent look. "He was playing with his electric baton and accidentally shocked himself. It has nothing to do with me."

"You..." Reinson was about to die from anger. Only Javon could come up with such an excuse. "Do you think we're all fools?"

"I didn't say that," Javon said, spreading his hands. "But if you're accusing me, where is your proof?"

Reinson was so furious the corner of his mouth twitched. "A bunch of idiots!"

"Javon, this was all a misunderstanding," Reinson said, forced to change his tone. "We've already investigated, and you were indeed wrongly accused. You can leave now."

"Evan, is it?" Javon said, a hint of disgust in his eyes. "Don't forget your identity as a police officer.""I don't need you to remind me!" Evan picked up the electric baton. "Now, state your choice and stop talking nonsense. We have a witness accusing you of beating someone to the point of being crippled. The evidence is irrefutable."Seeing Javon remain calm, Evan lost his patience. He switched on the electric baton, and blue sparks immediately flew. Five years ago, you were imprisoned for intentionally injuring someone. You were supposed to serve your sentence in the capital's prison, but it seems some power intervened and sent you to a mysterious place.
