“Babe, faster. I’m coming!”

“Me too. Ugh!”

Charles listened carefully and heard a sad sound coming from Isabella’s room.

He had just returned from a night shift as a bodyguard and intended to surprise Isabella by bringing breakfast to his girlfriend. But it was not Isabella who was surprised, but he was after hearing the sound of male and female sighs from inside his girlfriend's room.

“Whose sigh is that? Is Isabella making out with another man in her room? No, no way. Isabella only loves me, and she can’t be cheating on me.” Charles said while planting positive thoughts into his brain.

“Isabella, open the door, Darling.” Charles knocked on the door of the room where his girlfriend lived.

Isabella and Charles didn’t live in the same house. Isabella rented a house and gave Charles a key so he could come in. Charles lived in a room near where he works.

When Charles knocked on the door, the sound of someone sighing stopped. This made Charles feel like something was wrong, so he knocked on the door even harder.

“Isabel! Darling! Open the door. Who are you within there? Isabel! Answer me!“

No one answered, but he heard the sound of someone quickly getting dressed.

"Isabel! Isabel!"

Charles knocked on his girlfriend’s door, but nobody answered. He got worried and broke the door to go inside. He saw another man in the room, and Isabella was trying to cover herself with a blanket.

“What the hell? Isabel! Are you cheating on me?” Charles looked sadly. He didn't even think that Isabella would do something to hurt their relationship.

Charles and Isabella have been together for two years. Charles didn’t think Isabella would cheat on him.

“Oh, you? I think I don't need to hide anything from you anymore. I was hoping you could meet my new boyfriend, Deon. We've been together for three months now.” Isabella went to Deon and gave him a big hug while Charles was watching.

“Stop holding that man's hand, Isabel! You are my girlfriend! Don't act like a bitch. I know you're not that kind of slut, my love. Come back to me.” Charles was trying to fix things with his girlfriend, but she didn't want to work it out.

"Let's just break up. I don't want to have a poor boyfriend like you." Isabella insulted.

"Wh-what? But why only now? We've been together for two years, and you're just protesting now? I know; this jerk must have instigated you, right? He must have asked you to break up the two of us, right? "

Isabella chuckled and made a facial expression to tease or make fun of Charles. "I am unhappy in our relationship because you can't buy me fancy things like Deon can. It's been two years, and I feel upset about it."

“No! You’ve got to be kidding, right, honey?” Charles shook his head several times, still not believing what was happening.

“Just accept it, Bro. You don’t deserve to date Isabella anyway. She’s beautiful and sexy, and you? Poor, shabby, penniless! Loser!” Deon laughed at Charles, his hands hugging Isabella’s waist to confront the man.

“Fuck you both!” Charles was angry. He picked up the pitcher of water on the table and doused them both with it.

“You two bastards, you cheaters! Aren’t you ashamed to admit that you cheated on me?” Charles shouted angrily.

“Hahaha. Embarrassed? What is there to be ashamed of, Charles? Men like you should be abandoned; you’re poor and have no future. I’d rather be with Deon, who has a clear future, than you.”

Charles wiped his eyes that felt wet. Today was the day he wanted to take Isabella into a more serious relationship. Charles wanted to propose to Isabella but saw his girlfriend cheating and sleeping with another man instead.

“Do you not love me even a little bit anymore?”

"No. A poor man like you doesn't deserve to be loved. I'll take the water you splashed on me to apologize for cheating. So, we are even." Isabella spoke in a way that clarified that Charles was unimportant to her.

“Isabel, please. Don’t be like this. Stay away from that man, and I will try to forget your mistake today.” Charles begged and said he still loved his girlfriend very much and didn't want to end their relationship suddenly.

“Besides being poor, it turns out that your ears are deaf too. Isabella has kicked you out, so get out of here,”

"Shut up! As a man, you have no self-respect at all. Is there, not a single woman who likes you, so you took someone else's girlfriend? Huh?"

Deon got mad when Charles made fun of him. He let go of Isabella and punched Charles in the face. Charles got pushed hard and fell. His cheek and his lip were bleeding.

“Feel that. Don’t be an ignorant person. Isabella already dislikes you and wants to break up. Get out of this room before I kill you right now.” Deon threatened Charles while pointing at his face several times.

“No! I’m sure Isabella is like this because of your incitement, right? What an asshole! Bastard!”

Charles got up, then he hit Deon back. They fought, hitting each other until Isabella shouted to stop them both.

“Stop! I don’t want you making a mess in this house. Charles, we’re breaking up. Get out of my house right now!” Isabella snapped at her boyfriend.

“No, I’m not. I don’t want to break up.”

“I don’t want to date you anymore, Charles. I don’t want to have a poor boyfriend. I want a boyfriend who can buy me many expensive things, and only Deon can fulfill my wish!”

Isabella walked to the bedside, opened her desk drawer, and took out a ring box.

“You see? Deon can buy me this, while you? You’ve never bought me anything expensive in our two years of dating. I can’t stand dating a guy who can only ask me to wait.”

Isabella acted very proud and showed a pretty box with a sparkly diamond ring. The ring was very nice and looked like it was expensive.

“I’m not unwilling to buy you expensive things, Isabel. I’m trying! I work hard every day for more than 12 hours a day to raise money so I can buy you branded items. I’m working hard for you! Just a little while longer. Just wait a little longer. You don’t have to cheat on me like this, Isabel.” Charles looked at his girlfriend sadly.

“I don’t care. Now that I’m dating Deon, he’s a rich man. He has a diamond and real estate business. I don’t want to live a hard life with you. So, leave my house right now before Deon kills you off!” Charles was moving his head from side to side because he wanted Isabella to stay with him and not leave.

“No! I don’t!”

“Heh, you deaf bastard! Get out of here!” Deon pulled Charles’ body out of the room and pushed him roughly.

“Get out!”

"No! I don't want to break up with Isabella! You should stay away from Isabella, not me!" Charles looked at Deon with a furious and intense stare.

“What can you do, huh? You’re poor and have no power. Your body is also thin. One punch, and you’ll die at my hands! So leave quickly before my patience runs out.” Deon gave a warning, but Charles still didn’t want to leave.

“I’m not leaving! I’m not leaving here!” Charles tried to return to the house, but Deon blocked his body.

Charles fell again after Deon hit his face repeatedly. This time Deon didn’t give Charles a chance to fight back. His face was battered, and his nose and mouth were bleeding.

“Feel it, coward! Die! Die!”
