After coming back home, Andrew sat down in his chair and felt a wave of relief. He placed the ring on his desk with caution, and to his surprise, it started to glow and showed a hologram of his father.

Andrew was filled with excitement and couldn't wait to ask about the bank account. He eagerly said, "I've confirmed the bank account, what do I do now?"

His father's voice from the hologram responded, "Enter the PIN and log in using your phone." Andrew reached for his outdated iPhone 6 and accessed the Golden Horizon bank app. Entering his PIN, he noticed an asterisk symbol at the top, obscuring his balance. He was curious as he tapped the "View" option.

As Andrew tapped his phone screen, his eyes opened wide with disbelief. He couldn't help but exclaim, "Oh my goodness!" He jumped out of his seat, covering his mouth in shock. The number displayed on the screen showed an enormous amount of money, with twelve digits representing billions of dollars.

The sheer size of the amount left Andrew speechless, completely stunned.

"I told you that you had gathered a huge fortune. Now your financial worries are gone; all that's left is power," his father's said through the ring.

As tears of joy streamed down Andrew's face, he couldn't help but think of his late mother, whose passing was a result of financial struggles. Overnight, he had become a young billionaire, but he couldn't use his newfound wealth to help her.

"Now that you have so much money, what do you want to do?" Andrew's father asked.

"I want to start by buying a company," Andrew replied confidently, as becoming a CEO had always been his dream.

"That's a great choice. At least you have a clear goal," his father acknowledged. "During my time on Earth, I couldn't fulfill our family's long-standing business venture, but you have the chance. You should think about acquiring Stellarite Resources."

After various advise from his father he had gathered enough knowledge to be able to buy a company and all he needed now was a laptop.

Due to him being out of school he had enough time to start his own company before going back to school. He decided to buy a laptop, so he headed towards a computer store called "Tech Guide."

The store had a fancy appearance, with big windows that were about 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. These windows allowed people to see inside the store, which was well-organized. Next to the store, there was a parking area that could fit around 15 cars.

As Andrew approached the entrance, he noticed that it had wide glass doors, about 5 feet wide, making it easy for people to come in and out. There were attractive display boards at the entrance, showing the store's special offers and promotions.

Upon reaching the entrance, Andrew discovered a wide opening spanning approximately 1.5 meters, allowing for easy movement in and out through the glass doors. He saw an eye-catching display board at the entrance, showcasing deals and promotions.

As Andrew stepped inside, the automatic doors smoothly slid open, revealing a spacious interior with a high ceiling, creating a warehouse-like look. Directly ahead he saw rows of the latest desktop computers and laptops which were neatly arranged.

Curving to the left, Andrew found himself on a lengthy aisle with shelves and with various peripherals. The shelves proudly displayed monitors of different sizes, keyboards, mouse, and neatly aligned printers.

In the corner at the back, a dedicated gaming section captivated his attention with the dim lighting and vibrant neon colors from the game, as customers where immersed in the gaming experience.

Andrew made his way to the Apple section, where he selected a brand new Apple MacBook Air 15-Inch from the shelf. Holding it firmly, he proceeded to the counter with confidence.

"I would like to purchase this," Andrew politely informed the salesman.

The salesman glanced at Andrew from head to toe. Andrew, who possessed a slender frame, was dressed in a worn-out polo shirt and faded jeans that had stood the test of time.

"Hey, kid! Do you think this is some kind of toy for you to play with? Do you have any idea of the value of this laptop?" the salesman interrogated Andrew.

"Yes, I do," Andrew calmly replied without wavering.

The salesman was taken aback by Andrew's confidence.

"You think I must be joking, if you aren't able to pay for this what will I do to? " the sales man asked as he stared at Andrew angrily.

" I don't know.. it's your choice to believe me or not" Andrew said as he made the Sales man momentarily speechless.

"Oh, so you think you're smart, huh? Well, I'll show you just how smart I am," the man retorted, beginning to state his terms.

"Here's the deal. If you can't afford to buy this laptop, you'll have to pay double the amount and you won't even get it in this lifetime. But if you can pay for it, I'll give you a 50% discount," the salesman presented his conditions.

Without hesitation, Andrew simply nodded in agreement. This nonchalant action infuriated the salesman to the point where he felt an urge to strangle Andrew with his own hands.

"Alright then, it's a deal. The laptop you want to purchase is $2500, but I know you'll never be able to afford it," the salesman set the price with a slash discount.

Andrew pulled out one of his cards and swiftly swiped it on the card reader. In that split second, an alert sounded.

*Dinggg!*

The salesman checked his system and was astonished to see the credited amount.

"No... Nooo! This can't be possible... This is half of my salary... Nooo!" Overwhelmed, the salesman began to sweat profusely.

Andrew quickly grabbed the laptop box and, without a second thought, started to leave.

"No... You can't leave... You haven't paid in full!" the salesman shouted, but his words fell on deaf ears as Andrew walked out of the store.

"Now that was quite a successful business deal," Andrew smiled to himself, feeling completely satisfied that he had saved $1,250 as he left the store not minding the salesman

Upon reaching his apartment, Andrew placed the laptop on his table and opened it, preparing for his next course of action.

  • The End

At the heart of the capital, where the Core Plaza had once been reduced to a crater during Ayra’s siege, a new monument now stood. Twelve statues circled the base, in the ash-stone and bonded with traces of the Ashcore’s living light. Each bore the likeness of one of the fallen. Taylor, Sean, Chuks, Leon, Elsa, Zahara, Isaura, Cassiel and three others. At the very center of the monument, beneath a spire of forged Eden alloy repurposed from Havenborn's original wing, stood two larger statues—Hannah and Andrew, holding hands. Between them, a smaller third statue: a young child, arms raised toward the future. Despite all they'd lost, the city was alive. Wind passed through the plaza quietly. It wasn’t just a place for mourning anymore. It was a place where laughter echoed too—children ran between the statues, playing tag. Vendors lined the edge with food carts, and families gathered in the late afternoon sun. On a low bench facing the monument sat Fredrick. His beard was grayer now,

  • No More Ashbloods In Captivity

Two months had passed since Ayra fell and the treaty was signed. The wounds hadn’t all healed. But for the first time in years, the Ashbloods could breathe without looking over their shoulders. And now, at the highest peak of the rebuilt city, the Havenborn stood ready. It pulsed with renewed energy, reoutfitted with salvaged Eden cloaking tech, Ashcore fusion rails, and the signature geometric flame crest Andrew had carved himself—two hands holding fire. The boarding platform hissed open. Andrew stepped into the command bridge wearing a fitted black field jacket with silver trim and no rank insignia. His hair had been trimmed, his beard neater, but his face—older. The crew waited in silence. Elsa at her pilot seat, gloves tugged tight. Zahara behind her at engineering, half a torque wrench tucked in her belt. Isaura at navigation, feeding orbital scans into the side display. Fredrick checked the launch clamps while Chuks stood with his arms crossed, impatient as always.

Its high archways shimmered with vines of living crystal, glowing faintly in hues of amber and white.Wind stirred through the ivy-wrapped towers overhead. This was a union not just of two hearts, but of bloodlines that had once been hunted, hidden, and feared.Rows of Ashblood citizens and human guests filled the marble aisles. The Twelve—each wearing ceremonial dark silver tunics stitched with the insignia of the Ashcore—stood as silent guards and family alike. Zahara leaned heavily on Chuks’ arm. Fredrick had one arm bandaged, but stood tall. Isaura, Elsa, and Leon were dressed in light gray formalwear,.And at the center, between tall stone flame-spires and under a canopy of woven crystal branches, stood Andrew. He had never worn white before. But today, he did.His white curls had been tied back loosely, and his formal tunic was embroidered with the symbols of unity—Ashcore on one side,

He kept walking—until he stood in front of Andrew. And then he said quietly, almost gently:“You always were so easy to manipulate.”Andrew’s heart dropped. “What…?”The sky turned dark again as Sentinex drop-pods pierced the clouds, followed by the dark glint of Eden armorsuits marching behind them.Andrew turned—too slowly.“This… isn’t happening... again”Hannah’s eyes widened. “Andrew?”Before
