Young Master Chen’s face morphed from pale terror into an ugly, contorted mask of humiliated rage. Hundreds of guests, including influential lords from neighboring territories and the sect’s high elders, were watching him sweat.

"You think breaking through to Tier 3 makes you a genius, you absolute trash?" Chen roared, drawing a gleaming, silver-tempered sword from his waist. The blade hissed with crackling electrical energy—a low-grade lightning-attribute martial technique. "I have been at Tier 3 for a year! I’ll show you the difference between a dog and a master!"

Chen lunged. He was fast. His sword cut through the air, leaving a trail of blue static that smelled of ozone.
