The Invincible Billionaire. Chapter 1.

Inside the beautiful residence of the Michelson family.

“Get out of here!!!” The voice of a lady roared fiercely like a lioness as William was thrown out the front door by two guards.

William felt the world spin before his eyes for a second while landing on the ground.

“I don’t want to ever see you here again! Leave my daughter alone!” A lady elegantly walked out of the house. Her steps were elegant but her expression wasn’t. Her hair was black with a mixture of grey. She was in her sixties but she seem to be in her forties.

“Ma all I ask is to stay near my daughter. Besides I want Clarissa to explain to me why she would do that to me?!” William head was touching the ground meanwhile he inwardly gritted his teeth in rage.

Still he pleaded but all his plea fell on deaf ears.

“Explain what?! That she has left you for a better man?! You can clearly see it in the photos of her with Mr Anderson. Don’t you want something better for her and your daughter?!” This time the lady smiled mischievously. “I must spill a secret she’s already pregnant for Mr Anderson.”

Micheal looked at Lady Michelson, his mother in law and head of the Michelson family with a grimace.

His wife pregnant for another man? That’s unbelievable!

He was been humiliated like a slave in his matrimonial home. Not only that Lady Michelson revelations were shattering his heart bit by bit. It has always been like this.

The servants working inside the compound looked at him with disdain as they all gossiped loudly.

“I can’t believe the day has finally arrived where he will leave the Michelson finally for good.”

“What a piece of trash? Even if I’m still new here I still can’t understand why lady Clarissa would marry this pauper in the first place.”

“Well it’s a known knowledge! Oh I forgot  you are new. Everyone knows she married him six years ago so that she could inherit her late grandfather’s wealth. Apparently she has to be married to inherit it.”

“But why marry such a poor guy?”

The side gossips around him was enough to make his mood go sour but worrying about their conversations was the last thing on his mind right now.

However, they were right. His marriage with Clarissa six years ago was one of mutual agreement.

His wife and Lady Michelson approached him, proposing to take care of his sick mother’s treatment if he agreed to marry Clarissa. He was the perfect husband candidate for her at that time because he is poor.

Clarissa’s late grandfather left behind the family’s fortune to both her and her husband to be and it could only be inherited by her and her husband together as a single unit but Clarissa wasn’t married at that time, and her grandmother wanted the wealth all to herself.

Clarissa had a lot of wealthy suitors but Lady Michelson was strongly against Clarissa marrying them. Clarissa marrying into a rich family would leave her with little or no control to the family’s fortune.

There was a possibility of some stranger taking over the entire family fortune because she did not trust her granddaughter to be clever enough to prevent that from happening so she took matters into her own hands.

She had her granddaughter marry William and twisted the deed of her late husband so that the inheritance went to her instead of her granddaughter and William.

William was only interested in saving his sick mother so he agreed and overlooked the fact a fortune would have been his.  He was not the type to fight for what he didn’t work for. Besides he had no way of fighting because he is a poor man.

Everything was supposed to be okay after a few years later where William was supposed to divorce Clarissa as a term in their deal  but he never agreed to a divorce because of only one reason…

“Please I’ll be a house help or whatever you want but just let me be close to my daughter!”

William and Clarissa ended up falling for each other and having a daughter which was not planned.

“Get out! You don’t deserve to be Amelia’s father! Look how poor you are! Can you even take care of her fees?! Can you?!” Lady Michelson screamed loudly “My stupid granddaughter is the one I blame for taking her pleasures into the business between you both. I’m done housing a scandal like you in my house so get out!”

Lady Michelson still blames William for the one night scandal between him and Clarissa. It was a night were they both got drunk and made love. Since then they have been in love with each other. It was not too hard to understand why Clarissa fell for him that night. William was a very handsome man even with his poor status. He had a charming red hair that fell at the right side of his face with blue set of eyes.

It was a scandal William had not planned but it happened and he didn’t regret it because he ended up getting Amelia, his six year old beautiful daughter from the whole ordeal, and she and Clarissa is the only reason he had endured the Michelson’s family treatment towards him for this long without leaving.

However, lately William have been feeling Clarissa getting distant from him . Apparently she has been working too much and it’s always with Mr. Anderson! Now Lady Michelson is filling his head with all kind of thoughts.

Clarissa is having an affair with Mr. Anderson? William didn’t want to believe it but the pictures wouldn’t lie. How can Clarissa do this to him?

It’s been a month Clarissa travelled abroad on an important trip with Mr Anderson. She told him it was for business but the pictures Lady Michelson just showed him stated otherwise.

“It doesn’t matter what you say you will leave this house today that’s for sure. But if this makes you feel better I’ll tell you that if you stay I’ll make your daughter’s life a living hell”

“You wouldn’t dare….” Hearing what Lady Michelson had said William retorted.

“Yes I will. I can make her life a living hell but if you give Clarissa a divorce your daughter will be fine.”

“I am doing no such thing Grandma! If Clarissa wants a divorce she should say it to my face herself!” William got back up on his feet.

He was done begging and he could no longer take it anymore.

This time a scowl appeared on Lady Michelson face. “Then you leave me no choice.”

“This will be the last time you call me Grandma!” Lady Michelson instantly looked towards the two burly bodyguards behind her and ordered. “I don’t want to see this trash anymore! Get him far away from my house!”

Hearing the orders of their Boss, the guards dressed in black suit instantly held William and began dragging him out.

“Come on you can’t take me away from my daughter!”

“Well let me break it down for you! You don’t deserve to be her father so get lost!”

He doesn’t deserve to be Amelia’s father because he has no money?  He gritted his teeth. He wished he could shut Lady Michelson mouth but he could do nothing about it.

He wished he could change his reality.

However, he could only grit his teeth because he’s poor.

William was dragged out of the compound and driven away in a van.

“Finally I can breathe some fresh air!” Lady  Michelson turned around as she was about  walking into she stopped. “All of you get back to work!”

All the servants that had stopped to observe what was going on all returned to their various duties.

It was then Lady Michelson entered the house.

***

Lady Michelson entered her luxurious study inside the house and instantly picked up her phone to make a call.

The other end of the phone rang till someone answered.

[“Hello Mrs Michelson”]

“He’s all yours. Do whatever you need to do to get rid of him.”

[Chuckle. “Don’t worry yourself anymore Mrs Michelson”]

***

A van stopped at one of the lonely outskirts of Hilton City. It wasn’t lonely though but it seemed lonely because it was occupied by the less privileged in the society.

The black door of the van opened and William was thrown out.

“Ouch!” William felt another surge of pain as he was forcefully thrown to the side of the road.

“See you later buddy!”

The guards laughed and drove off living him stranded in outskirts of the city.

William gritted his teeth and got back up.

‘Who does she think she is? If she thinks driving me far from the house can stop me from leaving my daughter then she’s a fool! I’ll walk back for hours if I have to! After all I know my way back!’ William dusted his body and looked into the distance of where the van had disappeared into.

He was okay and prepared to start thinking of ways to get back when convoys of black cars arrived and parked in front of him.

The doors of car opened and men in black came out.

William froze upon seeing them. All the hair in his body stood along with a feeling of confusion dwelling in him.

The many bodyguards gave way for a bigger man with huge statue. If not for a little inches William would’ve called this man a giant.

The large man walked towards William with a crazy smile. “Mr Axton be glad! I will be your executioner!”
