Chapter 13: Meeting Again

Kal stared at Dante's left leg smiling. When Dante checked what Kal was grinning at, he looked at his left leg and was dumbstruck to what he saw. 

"H-how?" Dante stuttered in his words. He was surprised to find out that the cloth of the torso in his left ankle has been torn a bit showing his skin that revealed a red mark. Although it didn't left a scratch, the red mark was a sign that something had hit it. 

'I definitely blocked all of his attacks but where did this mark came from? No way, was it..' Dante then scanned Kal who was still lying in the ground and when he check his belt, the scabbard for his knife was empty. He checked at where the knife had gone to and he went back to the position he was standing. There he saw the knife stuck in the ground with some cloth from his torso stuck between the dull blade of the weapon.
