"Umm," Christian looked away for a second, fingers tugging lightly at the edge of the blanket as if buying himself time."Like you’re measuring me," he said finally. "As if I’m something that needs constant evaluation." Adrian blinked once. "You're too good at misunderstanding things, actually that’s not what I’m doing." Christian glanced back at him. "Then what are you doing? "That role," Adrian said while stressing the word 'role', so that Christian would understand regarding what he is saying, "if it makes you feel heavy or stressed, it's okay to decline." Christian frowned slightly. "I didn't feel heavy or stressed, so stop worrying about how I feel, and start worrying about how to get healed quickly." "The promise," Adrian said reminding Christian of their earlier conversation. "One of the most popular restaurants," Christian smirked, and that smirk made Adrian wonder, "did you win a lottery or what?"Christian proudly answered, "I already won a lottery by being my mother's son no need to win another one."
