Chapter 7

NEXT DAY, ITALY.

Clyde was with Giulia in his apartment. They were both watching a movie when they heard the doorbell ring. Giulia quickly rushed to answer the door and she met a woman on all black at the door. 

“Who are you?” She asked rudely and the woman scoffed.

“Who are you?” The woman asked and pushed her way into the apartment.

“Hey you can’t come in here! This is trespassing.” Giulia said after her but she ignored her.

“What’s going on?” Clyde asked as he walked in on them.

“Boo.” Anne said like a baby.

“Anne.” Clyde said shocked as she pulled him in a hug. 

“Did you miss me baby?” Anne teased and he chuckled.

“More than you can imagine.” He said and broke the hug. “You didn’t tell anyone you were coming.”

“I didn’t know I was coming.” Anne smiled

“I’m still here.” Giulia coughed behind them.

“Clyde honey, take my bag. Be a gentleman.” Anne said and Clyde quickly took the bag from her.

“Anne, this is Giulia, my girlfriend.” Clyde introduced and Giulia who was already fuming quickly added.

“Am his only woman.” She said sarcastically.

“No one’s dragging him with you dear.” Anne scoffed.

“Clyde hope your room’s intact.” Anne said as she walked to his room.

“Who the fuck is she?” Giulia asked when she was gone.

“Was that why you were rude to her? Really?”

“I don’t know her.”

“So you have to be rude to every person you don’t know.”

“Are you cheating on me?”

“Where did that come from? Why would I even cheat on you with someone who’s older?”

“Then why was she touching….

“She’s my mother’s sister!”

“What?!”

“Yes. So stop this nonsense behavior before it gets both of us in trouble.”

“I don’t want her here.”

“So get out.” Clyde said and pushed her out.

 “You can come back when your brain’s intact.” He said and slammed the door on her.

“Geez! Thought I was gonna hear her battering forever. Wherever did you get that girl from?” Anne said behind him and he jumped.

“Stop scaring me.” He said and she chuckled.

“ Clyde! Clyde! Open the damn door! Clyde! Open the door for Christ's sake. " Giulia yelled banging on the door outside. 

“ She'll go away. “ Anne said. 

" I don't know why I'm feeling bad. “ Clyde said almost inaudibly. 

" Hey sometimes you have to set people straight for them to learn lessons." Anne said. 

“ Clyde!" Giulia yelled again.

“I suppose Fernando has been here.” Anne said as she ate from her fries.

“He has.”

“With that girl here?” She said and he nodded. “I’m shocked to see her head intact.” 

“I was careful.” Clyde said and she shrugged.

Anne was as ruthless as her husband but she was loving when its comes to the people she cares about. That’s why Clyde was always free with her despite knowing how ruthless she can be sometimes.

“Why are you in Italy?” Clyde asked and she scoffed.

“Is that even a question?“

“I know Sapphire’s…..”

“She’s the reason I’m back. That stubborn friend of yours won’t stay put. I had to be dragged all the way from a show to Italy.” She pouted and Clyde chuckled.

“A show?”

“Yeah, a lovely wedding ceremony.”

“Anne…..”

“I didn’t do anything trust me. But it sure was going to be lovely.” Anne laughed and Clyde shook his head.

“Have you spoken to your mother?” Anne asked seriously and he exhaled.

“She won’t even talk to me.”

“It’s okay dear. She’ll come around.” Anne patted his back.

“When?”

“Soon. Why didn’t you tell your bitch I was Sapphire’s mother?”

“She’s not my bitch and she doesn’t like Sapphire very much.”

“She seems like someone my baby girl would definitely disfigure if she steps on her toes.” She said and he laughed.

“I didn’t want to tell her because I didn’t want her to get suspicious and do a research on you.”

“Oh.. she’s that stupid.” Anne said and he inhaled. “ Why would you even date a girl like that when you have my baby girl?" She murmured. 

“What? I’m only saying what I mean.” She winked. “I need to rest before going back to that man’s house. I’ll be in your room.”

“No use yours.”

“No I like yours better. It smells ruthlessness.” She chuckled as she walked to his room which was on the right.

“Still the same, just like her daughter.” He muttered frustrated.

“Clyde! What’s a condom wrap doing in your WC?” Anne yelled from his room and his eyes grew wide.

“Shit!”

Sapphire was working on something on the computer when the main door opened. She thought it was Draco who walked in so she didn't bother to get up. 

“ Come to scold me again?" She scoffed. 

“ Actually I came to work. " Pierce said with a smile and she quickly raised her face. 

“ Oh sorry. I thought it was that asshole." She pouted. 

“ It's alright. What are you working on?" Pierce asked. 

“ Pietro." 

“ That doesn't look like Pietro. " Pierce said and she raised her brows. 

“ Are you an analyst or something?" 

“ Assistant head analyst, Pierce." He said and she nodded. 

“ Okay. I'm Sapphire. " She smiled. 

“ So Sapphire what are you working on?" He asked again and she shrugged. 

“ You know very well that no one can hack into Pietro's system without getting caught right?"

“ Yeah. "

“ So my dear new friend, I'm making sure I don't get in. " 

“ But if the boss finds out, he might kill you. " 

“ He'll only find out if you tell him." 

“ I'm not a snitch. Pietro's a hard nut. " 

" Why does he want to get into the estate so bad? “ 

" Pietro has something of his. “ 

" Ohh.... I can tell. “ Sapphire muttered. 

" What? “

" I mean, he always has something that's not his. “

" How would you know that? “ Pierce asked and she shrugged. 

" He had me. “ She muttered.
