When his teacher first introduced his new awakening method Olivia had been impressed enough to call on her true self. This second time, an aura shield cast by Olivia had been his only protection. A sigh left Greg as he found himself forced to play a card he hadn't thought he would have to for a long time yet. Turning to his familiar, Greg looked her in the eyes as he asked. "Do you think your true self would be inclined to help?" There was silence at the table for a beat after the question was asked. Olivia regarded him for a while, and Greg was almost certain that she would ask him what she was talking about trying to pretend that she didn't know what he meant.
