He had realized the Carran government would play along with the High Roses. Klaus interrogated Gilbert for seven hours, which was quite a struggle since Gilbert was military man.

However, the more he held back, the more painful the torture Klaus gave him. In the fifth hour since the start of the interrogation, Gilbert began to reveal information about the High Roses and the Carran government.

"They intend to sell the vaccine for 50 Carra," Gilbert replied.

"That price is too high for the people to afford, especially people from the low middle class," Lara said.

"The government tried to negotiate the price, but there was no agreement between them," Gilbert said.

"If that is done, the patients from the poorer will die," James said.

"Mr. President doesn't really want to negotiate with criminals, but he has no other choice," Gilbert said.

James sighed softly. He stepped closer to Lara and the others who wer
