The earthworm that would help people by fertilizing the soil. How amazing is his daughter!!

'Is this woman blind? Or why would she compare my adorable daughter who is similar to an earthworm to a snake? A snake is dangerous. But my daughter is sweet and innocent.'

Yet, he once again decided to ignore the ignorant woman and turned towards Hearthe before asking, "Hearthe, where is the dead body that I threw here earlier?"

He used his index finger to point the exact spot where he had clearly seen his neighbor's body lying down with his eyes wide open and tongue stuck out.

Hearthe blinked her cute round eyes twice and started crawling towards the spot that her Father showed after understanding his question.

His question gained the full attention of the woman. She had now totally forgot about the weird race monsters she just found at Caesar's house.

She is not in a position to care about such creatures. After all, Caesar's question to that snake-like thing alerted her.

'What did he mean by body? What exactly did he mean? Is he really talking about my husband? Is he saying that he was not joking? No, no. He must still be joking around. There is no way that stupid man would leave me so fast. Yes, yes, this man must be joking. That's all.'

Though she told herself a series of words to calm herself, she couldn't control her breathing at all. It was rapid and her chest rose and fell non stop.

Her nerves became tense and all her attention was now on Hearthe, who was crawling around the huge tree while her head sometimes went inside the ground and came outside randomly.

After waiting for who knows how long, she saw Hearthe came back holding something in her mouth.

The woman almost felt her heart stop beating.

She doesn't know if it was because she was scared to look at what was in Hearthe's mouth or if it was because she already had a feeling what would happen if she looked at it. Or if it was because she very badly wanted to prove that Caesar was speaking nothing but a silly and a very stupid joke all along.

She really was waiting for Caesar to laugh out loud as soon as she looked at whatever was in the mouth of that snake-like creature.

As Hearthe came nearer, not only did the woman's heart stop but her breathing did too.

She could almost see what was in that creature's mouth. This only made her even more scared that the time she felt the ceiling of Caesar's house was about to eat her.

'No. Stop right there. Don't come any closer. Stop. No. Don't come here.' She muttered to herself as she looked at the nearing Hearthe.

She was really scared.

She couldn't help but take a few steps backwards as she was scared to face the thing in her mouth.

Her lips were trembling and her eyes stopped blinking. They started to redden at all the thoughts her mind was rambling about.

Various scenarios started running in her mind. Many ways her husband was treated when he entered the house and many ways how.. how… how..

She couldn't form the words clearly though her mind was unable to take a break.

She continued moving back step by step until her back touched a wall.

Her spine jolted and skin was filled with goosebumps. She wants to leave. No, she wants to leave immediately. She doesn't want to see whatever they wanted to show her.

Lies.

Everything was a lie.

Everything they are showing me is nothing but a big fat lie.

Yes, it's all a lie. If it is not a lie, then there is only one conclusion for all this.

This is a dream. A nightmare to be exact.

'I need to wake up. I need to wake up immediately before this nightmare goes to the next step. I don't want to look at the next 'scene'. I would rather die than go through this nightmare' She tried to pinch her hand, her face and every part of the skin that was available to her fingers in order to get out of this 'nightmare'.

She wanted to wake up so badly but no matter what she had done, she was unable to wake up and instead what she didn't want to happen, happened.

Hearthe reached her and opened her mouth to spit the thing she held for so long.

The woman froze in her spot as soon as her eyes fell on the 'thing' that Hearthe just spat out.

'No way. This can't be. Please someone wake me up.'
