Nathan took Rachel back to his house. He was not going to waste time at the Martins Mansion, knowing that they would not be nice to her there. He wanted to make sure that there was no chance for them to make her feel sad.
Nathan had devised a plan, knowing that no one in Caldor would know who he was they would think of him as another individual who would want to take advantage of the whole situation.
“They think I came to be wealthy like the other showoffs there? I came for someone important and I have taken her.” Nathan said to himself as he walked out of the Martins house not trying to look back.
Rachel was confused, she didn't know why Nathan was even trying to take her home like that even when he knew that she was deformed.
‘It is oddly suspicious that there is something he is not telling everyone. It feels like he was only trying to make it look like he was some kind of big shot that would be able to handle anything that would come.’ Rachel was looking at Nathan as she tried to find out what it was he was thinking.
Nathan turned back to see Rachel looking at him with a glare that would be enough to kill a man.
“Is there a problem?” Nathan asked trying to find out what it was that made Rachel look at him like that.
“I know you think taking me home like this would increase what my family would give you, but then you will be doing a good job.” Rachel mocked Nathan. It was like she wanted to find out what Nathan was planning to do so she could find a way and make sure that he would expose himself to her.
Nathan was looking at Rachel and he was shocked to see that she thought he had other plans with her.
“I am not trying to do anything like that, I am only trying to make sure that you are okay.” Nathan was looking at Rachel, he was shocked that she thought he was trying to get the reward only and nothing more.
‘Well I am not surprised that she thinks that I am trying to use her to get her family’s money but then why in the world is she saying it here?’
Nathan was looking at Rachel, he took a deep breath and he knew that there was no way he would be able to walk away with her if he didn't tell her what he had in mind.
“Rachel, I plan to make things turn around for you and not take advantage of you. I would never think of hurting you, I only want what's best for you.” Nathan was looking at Rachel, he didn't want to make her feel like he was going to take advantage of her.
“How in the world do you plan to do that? You are not going to be able to stand in front of me when you see what is beneath my dress,” Rachel sounded a bit defeated when she said that.
Nathan noticed but then he didn't say anything to make her feel hurt, he went close to Rachel. He placed his hand on her shoulder, he kept his eyes on her.
Rachel looked at Nathan and she was a bit confused about what he was trying to do there.
“Rachel, I want to make sure that there is no way for anyone to hurt you ever again, I will also make sure that they will stay far away from you. I will make you the happiest woman in the world.”
Nathan was looking at Rachel with a smile on his face, he knew that she would be confused when she heard what he was trying to say.
“How?! I am asking you how you plan to do that?! My face and my body are deformed yet you say that you are going to make me the happiest woman on earth, how blind can you be?!” Rachel was looking at Nathan.
Nathan smiled a bit, he took her by the hand. “I just want you to work with me on this one, I will take care of everything and you will not have a problem,”
Nathan began walking with Rachel to a room, once they entered the room Rachel could see that it was filled with different things.
The room was covered in white and blue paint, it had a beautiful spot. It looked like a clinic but then it was a bit strange that Nathan had something in his house.
“What are we going to do here?” Rachel asked, looking around the room. She was a bit confused.
Nathan brought out a box, opened it, and inside were medical equipment and things that looked like they came from the other side of Caldor, there were hair-thin needles used in acupuncture.
“Rachel I need you to trust me,” Nathan stretched out his hand, looking at Rachel trying to see what she would do.
Rachel was looking at Nathan and she was not sure what he would do to her but then there was something about him that was calling her and it was a bit calming for her.
‘Why does he feel so calm and welcoming? This is not like anything I have felt around anyone before.’ Rachel was looking at Nathan, he was not sure what it was that would even make it look like he was someone different.
“What are you going to do if you see how bad it is beneath the dress?” Rachel was looking at Nathan, she wanted to know what he was going to say.
Nathan was looking at Rachel, he was not sure why she was asking him that question but then he knew there was no way he would do anything different.
“I will still like you regardless. I know you are a good lady. Your family is just one messed-up bunch.” Nathan walked to a table in the room, he arranged it.
“Now come on, I have a surprise for you.” Nathan smiled as he waited for Rachel to come to him.
Rachel was looking at Nathan and all she could see was a man who would not change his word easily.
‘Just who is he?’

Liu hadn't gotten any information on Cruz for a long time; he was not going to let anything make him think otherwise. He was trying to make sure that nothing would come in the way again and make Nathan feel like there was no way for him to get anything done. He was not sure what would come out of all his endeavors. But if one thing was certain, he would be able to get something done. “It seems that you don't understand what you are trying to get done here, do you?” A voice came from the door of his office; Liu smiled but didn't even bother to look back. “Elena, when would you learn that it is not formal for someone to come to the office like that…?” Elena giggled as she waltzed into the office; she was still not completely healed from what the men Cruz sent for her had done. “You're still trying to get the plans out?” She was looking at the papers on the table, confused; she didn't know what was going on in his head at the moment, and it wasn't even clear if there was a way for

“Obi-Nge, he is with the Masked General. Are you sure that you want to risk it in a fight?!” One of the Thorns was talking to Obi-Nge, a man with a shabby way of doing things. He wasn't trying to get in the middle of anything that would look like hard work for him, but if one of his prey had gotten away and was causing trouble. “Which is better, dealing with prey that you know you can kill and be through with, or being scared of a general that has nothing to do with your life?” Obi–Nge was looking at his partner, and nothing was going to prepare her for a question like that. He was looking at his partner and was not sure if there was going to be an answer from him. “I know you are trying to look out for me, but then there are better ways to do that, and I would love it if you understood that nothing is going to be holding us down like that, and I am not going to stand there to watch them take us down like we are some kind of lowlifes.” Obi-Nge sounded confident; he was known for

Nathan was looking at Loid; he had no idea what was going on. “I don't know what I am going to be hearing, but if you say that this is connected to all I want to know, then I am all ears.” He looked at Loid. There was no way he wouldn't want to know what was going on on the continent, and he was going to make sure that there was a way for him to solve the problem. “The families chosen were the Gregory family from the Eastern Valley, the Artheris from the Northern Plains, and then the Specters from Caldor. These were the three families picked out by the continent heads; they were going to make sure that nothing would come in the way of Orde and Law in Hondra.” Loid got up, moving to a part of the room where he picked up a chalk Nathan had lying around. “These families were not picked because of status or wealth; they were picked because the matriarch of each family had a strong sense of justice, and they were seen as the pinnacle of power and strength.” Loid sounded like there was

Nathan looked at the crest; he was not sure if it was the same as the one his family had. There was no clear difference, but then he was not sure if Loid might have had the same Crest. He didn't know if it was even possible for someone other than his family to carry the Crest like that. He did not want to interrupt the process; he had found a way to make sure that the poison would leave his body, and he was not going to let it go to waste. He would use it and make sure that nothing would take the man’s body.He waited for some time before he did something else to his body, but nothing showed that he was getting a response from the man and the treatment was going well. He stood there looking at him; the crest was still on his mind, not knowing what the exact reason was why he felt that there was something connecting it to his family, and all he needed was to make sure that there was nothing going to keep him on edge the whole time. Loid lay silent for a couple of minutes, and his bo

Zauf…. A country in Hondra is one of the deadliest places to even think of getting yourself a place. It wasn't even that much trouble getting lost there for a place called the Crime Land of Hondra—it was at its peak! In what seemed to be a five-star hotel, outside it wasn't always the worst place to be seen. Inside, there was a meeting and in that meeting sat five of the toughest and strongest men in Zauf. They were all seated for a meeting, there wasn't any sign of a weak being in the room. “I heard that those idiots failed to get Loid back here, oh the Supreme Syndicate ain't going to be happy about that.” One of the men spoke, looking around the room he could see that none of them would even have the mind to voice out what they were seeing and it was even sad for them in many ways. “How on earth did you think they would be able to do anything when they ran into the Masked General?” Another man spoke up, looking at the men there he was one of the few that looked odd and

“I don't know who told you that coming to my mansion was a good idea.” Nathan was looking at the last man standing, he had taken down the other two, and it wasn't even up to three minutes when they attacked. Nathan was moving like a hollow ghost taking them out one by one, and it was the last man he was looking at. His eyes were fixed on him like a hawk, and he wasnt going to be letting him go that easily. “You don't know what you are getting yourself into, if you touch me then that means you are making yourself an enemy and this isn't something you want to see yourself doing. There is no need to make yourself the enemy here.” The last man tried to talk to Nathan, but it would not work. He was looking at someone who had made up his mind to kill them and it was like pouring water on a rock. “You think I would give a damn to whatever it is you are trying to tell me. But I couldn't even care less.” Nathan was looking at the man, standing over him like a wall. “You think that I woul
