Nathan guided Rachel to the bed in the room, he was trying to do something to her but then he wasn't trying to tell Rachel anything but to keep it to himself and make sure that nothing was going to make her scared.

Nathan told Rachel to lay down, he was going to do something to start the treatment, Nathan had gathered skills when he entered the Northern Plains certain skills that would be called divine.

Rachel was confused, she was covered with burns but then she didn't know why the man in front of her didn't even care then was trying to make sure that he would help her out in a weird way.

“Now Rachel I want you to make sure that you will relax your body and make sure that nothing is going to make you reject this treatment.” Nathan was looking at Rachel, he was about to begin the main treatment.

Rachel was looking at him but then, she was not sure what he had in mind but he knew that it was something a bit off, but for some reason the man in front of her was not like any other man he looked like someone who needed to be trusted.

“Okay, I don't know what you are doing but then I will keep calm and wait for you to finish,” Rachel said she was sure that there was no way she would be able to run to anyone.

Nathan smiled as he used his hand to make sure that Rachel would close her eyes, it was something he needed to do to make sure that nothing was going to go wrong.

Nathan began using a mantra that seemed soothing to Rachel, suddenly she felt her body get a bit weak before she slipped into a sleep-like state.

It took three days, Nathan was standing by Rachel's side, he made sure that he would feed her and give her all the care in the world. Rachel also saw that Nathan was not the type of man she had thought him to be he was someone different and it was heartwarming to be close to him.

On the last day, Nathan had finished, a smile on his face he was sure that he had stopped what looked like the embarrassment of a lifetime on her side.

He looked at Rachel and noticed that she was still fast asleep, it was like she was at perfect peace nothing was going to wake her.

Nathan tapped her shoulder, he was trying to make sure that he would get her to open her eyes.

“Rachel, you can wake up now. Everything is done,” Nathan was trying to make sure that he would make her get up.

Rachel opened her eyes, she was looking at Nathan and she was a bit confused when she saw an odd smile on his face.

Rachel was confused, she wondered what made Nathan smile like that. “What is wrong? Did something go wrong?”

“You can go see for yourself in the mirror, I am sure you will be happy to see what it is that is making me smile like this.” Nathan didn't want to tell her.

Rachel was confused, she got up from the bed and walked to the mirror lying in the corner of the room.

She picked it up and when she looked at it she didn't see any of the scars she had on her body from the fire. It was like a miracle.

“What happened to them?! My scars are all gone?!” Rachel was looking at the mirror, she turned to look at Nathan who had a smile on his face.

“Well, I don't like people calling my wife names and I was not going to let even your family insult you so I wanted to surprise you. That is just your first gift, for your second gift I want to give you something that would show people you are nothing someone to be trifled with.”

Nathan walked past Rachel, he walked out of the room going into the next room there.

Rachel was left with her thoughts. She didn't know what she was going to think at that moment, knowing that she had been so rude to Nathan.

‘How in the world did he heal me? I don't know what I am going to say to him, I called him all sorts of names yet he healed me. I don't even know what I am going to be calling this kind of gift,’ Rachel was looking at herself in the mirror as she remained shocked at the fact that there was no way for him to come out and tell her that he was going to make her a slave.

“I was thinking of what I would give you to show that you are not someone to be played with. I know you will say that all this is a bit too much but then I want to make sure that nothing is going to make you feel unsafe out there.”

Nathan came out with a necklace that had a Sword and Mountain pendant, he walked up to Rachel and put it on her neck. "Now I am going to give you this necklace as a gift, and soon our marriage certificate will be ready and we will have to go to your parent's villa to make things official."

Rachel was still looking at Nathan, she knew that there was no way for any ordinary man to do all this for her and even try to make it look like he didn't do anything much.

“Now what is with that look on your face? Don't you want to get married to me? I can cancel everything if you want to. ” Nathan was looking at Rachel, he had seen her and noticed that she was not in the right mind to say anything.

“No not that, I wanted to ask this but then I was scared I might make you angry.” Rachel was looking down, she didn't want to say anything but then there was nothing more for her to do.

“You can tell me, I don't bite. I will only tell you what I think and you will be the one to give me the run-through of what I think.” Nathan was looking at Rachel, he was not going to make her feel uncomfortable.

Rachel looked at Nathan, and all she could see was someone who didn't even care what she had said to him.

“I wasn’t polite on our way here, I said a lot of stupid things. I also said you were trying to use me to get my family’s money but then you only healed me and acted like nothing was going on. Why are you doing all this for me? I know you should be the one to even say that you are going to be kicking me off the streets because there is no way I deserve you doing all this for me.”

Rachel was looking down, Nathan smiled when he heard all she had to say. He was not surprised.

“Well let’s say, you deserve it and everything going to be coming your way from me. I know you think that there is no need for me even to think of doing something like this for you. But then, I know you deserve all this and more.” Nathan was looking at Rachel with a huge smile on his face.

Rachel looked at him. She didn't know what he meant by that, but then it was clear that he would not stop doing things for her.

“I…” Before Rachel could finish saying what she had on her mind, the doors opened and a man dressed in a top-quality suit walked in.

“Sir, we found the first heirloom and the first suspect, he…” The man paused when he saw Nathan raising his hand.

Nathan looked at him, it was a sign for him not to say much. “I will be there with you soon,”

The winds in Caldor had changed; everyone knew something was going on, and there was something they couldn’t control happening in their midst, so the best thing they could do was to stay away and make sure that no one would even go close to it. Neo Ackerman and Michael Keaton knew what they were in for, and they didn’t want to believe that it was going to happen right away. Neo didn’t want anything to come between his deal with the order and what he was going to get, but hearing that Sirus was in town made it clear where he was standing and how fragile the floors were. He needed to make sure that no matter what happens, he won’t be in the crossfire, and the last thing he would be thinking about is what was going to happen next. Michael had made his way to see Neo; he knew that the only person who would be able to say something about what was going on was one of the big shots in the city, and he wasn’t going to back down from anything. “You better have a good darn reason to be her

Nathan had gotten the call from Rachel while he was in another meeting with Loid and Steven. He didnt think much of it, but hearing her voice and her being all worried was something off. “Rachel, what is going on?” He was already worried that there was something about to happen; it was not even possible that something might have happened. “It's a code black, she is out there fighting someone and….”The line went dead, Nathan was looking at the phone, his eyes were empty, and he was trying to get his head through who might have gotten there. He was not about to rush there knowing that there was a chance they would be putting her in danger, but then there was something going on, and if he was not fast about it, then something might happen to Rachel, and he would never be able to forgive himself for it. “What happened?” Loid was looking at Nathan, the man walked past him with a strange look on his face, showing he was not about to be handling anything that was beyond what he would w

Sirus stood across the hall, looking at Cruz, waiting for him to make a move that would give him the opening he needed to take him down. There was nothing that would give him more joy than to remove the one man who seemed to be a huge problem for him at the moment. Cruz was still shocked to see Sirus in front of him. He knew something was about to happen, and it was about to take a swing south if he wasn't going to use his brain. “I—I didnt do anything to make you angry, my liege, and you know it. There is nothing that should make you even think of…” “You found out that Rachel Martins is the last living member of the Arias family, and what did you do?” Sirus spoke softly, but his voice never wavered to be soothed by anything to be trifled with, and his eyes were on Cruz, trying to see if he was going to use it to pin him down and make sure he would take out the man who was making things hard for him at the moment. “You went on to take her out alone, not even trying to bring it to

Their clash was strong enough to send waves through the company wall, and Elena was strong enough to hold her own against Cruz. It was like trying to put down a rabid dog, trying to do its best to kill her. Every strike Cruz made, Elena seemed to have a counter and a quick recovery time that made it hard for anyone to even put up with her in any way. She was one of the generals for a reason, and that reason was that no one would even think of coming close to her to put her down. Cruz saw what she was doing and the way it felt like she had the moves waiting for him to make a mistake. “You know this is why I always saw you as someone formidable, and I would never do anything to cross your path.” He said as he took a step back, his eyes on Elena, who didnt seem to have broken a sweat yet. “It was the reason why you didn't even look like someone I would try to take on because I knew the moment I went for you, then there would be problems that even my skills couldn’t buy me out of.”

“Come on, Rachel, you don’t need to do anything to make sure that nothing is going to come your way from all the angels, and I will make sure you will not even know what is going to happen if you let it go that much.” Elena was trying to see if he could get Rachel to calm down over some business agreements they had, and from what he was seeing, it was not going to be easy for anything even to happen. Rachel was trying to get her head out of the game for some time, knowing what it meant if they were about to get something done. “I am telling you, if we can get this company to back down, then there is a chance for you to maximise the earning rate of this company, and we aren't going to be getting anything out of it if we keep taking the low way down.” Elena had a smile on her face. She was surprised that Rachel was picking up fast enough like that, and there was nothing a bit off about it except that she was now taking everything like she was darn pro in the field for a long time.
