Ethan stood alone in the quiet memorial hall smoking a cheap cigarette. He suffered through his second completely sleepless night in the dark.

Loud tires screeched violently to a halt in the dark alley outside. Victoria rushed inside with her expensive white shirt still stained with dried blood.

He noted their incredible speed and drew his own firm conclusions instantly.

"There is only one single bed available in this tiny cheap doghouse," Ethan stated. His dark eyes remained completely flat and exhausted.

"The hard dirty floor is wide open if you plan on staying here," Ethan added. He pointed a casual finger toward the dusty corner of the room.

Victoria stepped forward quickly and bowed with deep genuine respect. She presented a beautifully carved wooden box directly to his waiting hands.

The rare White Dragon Root rested perfectly inside just exactly as he asked. Ethan opened the lid and kept his facial expression entirely neutral.

His left eye twitched very slightly at the incredible and beautiful sight.

The rare black herb possessed a very distinctive white coiled tip. It was one of the three precious things he desperately needed.

He locked the priceless box safely inside the hidden compartment under his old desk. He did it without any grand or special ceremony at all.

"The Old Master is exactly ten minutes behind us on the road," Mrs. Hayes announced. Her voice carried a mixture of deep urgency and lingering embarrassment.

"What happened to the great wealthy titan refusing to lower himself to my level?" Ethan asked. His tone dripped with totally deliberate and cold innocence.

Mrs. Hayes felt her wrinkled face burn bright red with absolute deep shame. She looked down at the wooden floor exactly like a scolded puppy.

"A very generous consultation f*e will arrive here shortly," Victoria promised. She bowed her beautiful head again in pure polite apology.

The heavy wooden front door pushed open with a very loud irritating creak. Sophia marched right through the entrance with her entire angry group.

Ethan dropped his burning cigarette instantly and his blood ran entirely cold. This small room was his beloved mother sacred memorial hall.

If these filthy animals caused any trouble here his response would be incredibly violent.

"Why have you been ignoring my calls like a disobedient stray dog?" Sophia demanded. Her beautiful face twisted into a highly ugly and arrogant sneer.

"You belong to us and you need to answer when your masters call," Sophia insulted. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest in complete pure superiority.

Ethan walked slowly to the cracked wall and unplugged his old phone. The bright screen woke up automatically in his steady right hand.

He pressed the loud speaker button and played her desperate voice messages for the entire room.

"Answer the phone you worthless mutt or I will break your stupid legs," Sophia recorded voice threatened loudly.

"You are nothing without my wealthy family feeding you scraps every single day," Sophia voice echoed cruelly a few seconds later.

"Please Ethan just come back to the house and I will buy you a nice new bone," Sophia voice begged pathetically just a few minutes after that.

"You ruined my perfect life you dirty ungrateful street mongrel," Sophia voice shrieked in total absolute unhinged hysteria.

The rapid progression from violent threats to desperate bargaining played out perfectly. Victoria and Mrs. Hayes watched the absolute pathetic and crazy display.

Tyler and Ashley stood entirely frozen in deep massive burning embarrassment. Sophia stood there listening quietly to her own pathetic crazy voice.

Ethan blocked every single Morgan family contact one by one on the screen. He never broke his intense icy eye contact with his ex wife.

"What gave you the right to burn the Phoenix Remedy recipe you feral beast?" Sophia screamed. She pointed a manicured shaking finger directly at Helen painted portrait.

"Your old mother left that exact recipe specifically for me and my massive company," Sophia yelled. Her chest heaved heavily with total blinding massive greed.

"You took a billion dollars from my hands you jealous little street rat," Sophia accused. Her eyes bulged wildly with pure absolute madness.

A vicious and incredibly heavy slap landed squarely across her pale cheek before she finished. The loud violent smack echoed violently in the small quiet clinic.

Sophia stumbled backward clumsily and held her burning red cheek in pure absolute shock.

She stared wildly at the quiet man who spent four long years groveling before her family. Her arrogant brain could not process what just actually happened.

"You ungrateful filthy parasites make me completely and utterly sick," Ethan growled. His rough voice shook with the absolute furious rage of a patient man.

"The Injury Cream and the secret reagent were entirely my mother hard work," Ethan explained. His dark eyes burned with deadly terrifying intense fire.

"The Phoenix Remedy was her brilliant creation given freely to you greedy stray dogs," Ethan stated. He took a highly aggressive and threatening step forward.

"In her final painful bloody moments she was still thinking about your company future," Ethan revealed. His chest grew incredibly tight with overwhelming heavy grief.

"And your arrogant family could not be bothered to send a single person to her deathbed," Ethan accused. His voice dripped with absolute pure murderous intent.

"If you set one single foot in this memorial hall to cause a scene again I will destroy you," Ethan promised. His facial expression was entirely cold and totally lethal.

"I will burn every single remaining recipe to ash right now and leave you with absolutely nothing," Ethan threatened. He glared at her like she was dirty rotting garbage.

Sophia swayed dangerously on her expensive high heels. The full massive weight of his angry words finally crushed her fragile mind.

She did not know there were even more priceless recipes than just the Phoenix Remedy. The massive terrifying financial pressure became totally physical.

She spit thick dark red blood onto the floor and started to fall rapidly forward. Tyler and the others lunged quickly to catch her heavy body.

Tyler rounded furiously on Ethan with pure explosive and completely violent rage.

"I am calling the underground boss to put you down exactly like a sick rabid dog," Tyler shouted. His handsome face turned an ugly shade of bright purple.

"The Black Tiger Crew will rip you into tiny little pieces and feed you to their actual dogs," Tyler bragged loudly. He sneered with complete absolute venom and pure wicked malice.

Tyler pulled out his shiny luxury phone to make a very grand dramatic show. He dialed Brother Dante number carefully to impress the two beautiful unfamiliar women.

He desperately wanted to look like a powerful dominant alpha wolf in front of Victoria.

The video call connected instantly with a soft sharp electronic chime.

Brother Dante appeared on the bright clear screen lying flat in a sterile hospital bed.

Where his right hand used to be there was now only a bloody stump wrapped in white gauze.

Tyler completely froze and his smug confident expression stopped working entirely.

Victor Sr. nodded. He walked slowly to the center of the hall, his frail legs steady despite the exhaustion carved into every line of his face. He stopped in front of Ronald and looked down at him with the quiet, terrible authority of a man who had built everything in this room from nothing and was now watching parts of it try to tear themselves apart."Ronald," Victor Sr. said. His voice was slow and deliberate, each word placed like a stone being laid into a wall. "You are stripped of all corporate positions within the Harlow family business, effective immediately."Ronald's face went white."Your family dividend shares are confiscated," Victor Sr. continued. "Every asset tied to your name within the Harlow holdings is now frozen."Ronald's body began to shake."You are expelled from this estate permanently," Victor Sr. said. "You may no longer claim the Harlow name. You may no longer identify yourself as a member of this family. From this moment forward, you are nothing to us."Ron

He shook his head slowly and turned away.Victoria stepped forward and looked at the row of kneeling family members the way a person looks at insects that have crawled onto a dinner table."Five minutes ago you were telling my grandfather to go die so you could save your own skins," Victoria said. Her voice was steady and sharp enough to cut glass. "You called him stubborn. You called him selfish. You said his life was worth less than your comfort. And now you are on your knees crying like beaten dogs begging for scraps."Mrs. Hayes folded her arms and looked at Ronald specifically."You stood in the middle of this hall and led the charge," Mrs. Hayes said. "You told everyone to throw Victor Sr. to the wolves. You called Ethan delusional. You said

Barrels leveled at heads and chests and anything that moved.Master Frank's figure flickered. He did not move the way normal men moved. He did not run or lunge or charge. He simply ceased to exist in one location and began existing in another, and in the space between those two moments, the world changed. The first elite dropped with a puncture wound through the center of his forehead. No sound. No cry. Just a body folding to the ground like a puppet whose strings had been cut. The second fell a fraction of a second later. Then the third. Then the fourth. Master Frank passed through them like a shadow moving through a room full of candles, and every candle he touched went dark.Henry's finger was on the trigger. The barrel was aimed at Ethan's chest. The hall held its breath and the world seemed to stop spinning for a full second before the panic hit.Ian Watanabe was the first to break. His corporate composure, the last thin layer of dignity he had been clinging to like a man gripping the edge of a cliff, shattered completely. He stumbled forward with both hands raised and his voice climbing to a pitch that cracked the polished surface of every word."You cannot kill me," Ian screamed. His eyes were wild and spit flew from his lips. "I am a foreign dignitary. I represent the Watanabe Pharmaceutical Group on the international stage. If I die on American soil, it will cause a diplomatic crisis between two nations. You will bring consequences down on this entire city that no one can control."He was backing away as he spoke, his polished shoes sliding across the marble, and then his hand found Henry Bennett's shoulder. He grabbed the bigger man and

Henry's grin was completely gone. In its place was the raw, animal terror of a man watching a door close that he cannot reach. He threw himself forward and dropped to his knees in front of Master Frank, grabbing at the hem of the grandmaster's torn coat."Master Frank, please," Henry begged. His voice cracked and his eyes filled with desperate tears. "My son Chad. They killed my son. You have to avenge him. I brought you here to avenge my boy. Please."Master Frank stopped and looked down at the man kneeling at his feet."What was your son's name?" Master Frank asked."Chad," Henry said eagerly. "Chad Bennett. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery. I can take you there after this is over. You can pay your respects and then...""Chad Bennett dared to offend the Human Tower Master," Master Frank said. His voice carried no sympathy, no warmth, no hesitation. "He deserved his death."Henry's face froze."I will not avenge him," Master Frank continued. He looked down at Henry with those flat,

The grandmaster had arrived. The nightmare was over. Ethan Cole was finished.Ian Watanabe straightened his suit jacket and stepped forward. He bowed deeply from the waist, the kind of bow a corporate man gives only to someone he genuinely fears and respects."Master Frank," Ian said. His voice was smooth and dripping with deference. "Thank you for coming. Please, dispose of this man once and for all so we can proceed with our business."Ronald and his supporters had already swarmed around Richard near the entrance. Ronald clapped Richard on the shoulder and beamed at him like he was greeting a returning king."It is over," Ronald said. He was practically bouncing on his heels. "The moment the old man is dead, we put you in the chair. I have been saying for years that this family needed new lead
