Chapter Four

William’s POV:

     The portal opens up at the police station as me and Ada walked out of it, I looked at Ada and asked

“What the bloody hell are we doing here?”

“We need to find the bullet she was shot with, I can use my magic to track the particular gun that it was shot from”

“Thereby finding the shooter”

Ada nodded as we both went into the station, Ada used her magic to blind the cameras so we couldn’t be seen then we went into the evidence room and found the bullet that killed Tracy, Ada used her magic to find the bullet as it still contains traces of Tracy’s blood,

Ada closed her eyes and casted a spell as the bullet started spinning, I just looked on as Ada did her thing and a moment later, Ada opened her eyes and said

“I found the gun, it’s in a warehouse near the Miami beach”

“Let’s bloody go then”

I said as Ada opened up a portal but a police officer walked in and saw us then he asked

“Hey! What are you two doing here?”

He was about to reach for his gun but Ada just knocked him unconscious with a blast and then we both got into the portal, we appeared at the warehouse which was near the beach, it was Steven Jackson’s warehouse.

We found the gun as it was been held by one of his men, the man saw us and immediately ran away and we followed him, Ada brought out the fake FBI badges and shouted

“FBI, Freeze!”

“You can drop the act now, we don’t need it”

I said as we ran after the man, he ran towards a boat and got into it and drove off, I and Ada looked on as he escaped and then I looked at Ada as she casted a spell, the boat stopped and turned around on it’s own, in which the man had lost control of it.

It came towards us and stopped as it got to us, I got inside the boat as the man brought out the gun and tried to shoot me but Ada used her telekinesis to hold his hand stopping him and then I looked at Ada and she said

“Looks like we’ve found our shooter”

I smiled and then I looked at the man and said

“You’re gonna beg for death when am done with you”

I punched him, knocking him out cold, Ada opened up a portal and I dragged his body into it, we appeared in a basement, I tied him up to a chair and poured cold water on him waking him up

“Look who have finally woken up”

I said and then he said

“Who the fuck are you people?”

“We’re FBI”

Ada said bringing out the fake FBI badges and I gave Ada an angry look and she said

“What? I like being an agent, it’s cool”

“Yeah no shit”

I said as I was pissed off and then I looked at the shooter and said

“We’re friends of the woman you killed”

“Oh you’ve gotta be specific, I’ve killed lot’s of women”

“Tracy Mecall, you shot her”

“Oh right, that bitch, she was a traitor, the boss had ordered me to take care of her, She was so hot but too bad I didn’t get to taste her before she died”

He said as this just made me more angry, I looked at him and said

“I see, well mate, I’ve been holding up my anger for a while now but I think it’s time to let it out”

I punched him as he bled from his mouth, I punched him again and his nose broke, I kept on punching him as his face swelled and he was bleeding all over his face, I knocked him out and then I said

“Oh you don’t get a time out”

As I wanted to wake him up, Ada said

“Wait, before you continue unleashing your anger, I want to know how his boss found out about Tracy, I think someone must have tipped him off and I wanna know who”

“Why not use your mind powers?”

“You know what it does to people and I don’t want to ruin your fun”

“Fine you can do it after I’m done with him”

I said and then I slapped the shooter as he woke up and then I said

“Oi, don’t die on me yet, the party is just getting started mate”

I punched his torso as I broke one of his rips, I kept on punching and beating him up as my eyes glowed white with white vains all over my body, Ada just smiled as I kept on beating him until he was near death,

I healed him and then I said

“You don’t get to die on me yet”

I untied him and said

“I’ll give you a choice, defeat me in combat and I’ll let you go, lose and you die”

“You’re crazy, you both are not fucking FBI”

He said as I justed smiled and said

“No we’re not, now get up and fight like a man”

“This is gonna be your end”

He said as I looked at him and said

“Not if I don’t end you first”

My eyes glowed white as we both ran towards each other, he threw a punch but I dodged and punched him on his rips, he threw another punch and I dodged and punched him on his face as some of his teeths fell off,

He was staggering as he tried to punch me but I gave him an uppercut as he flew a bit up and fell to the ground,

I stood right over him and said

“You lose”

My eyes glowed white as I wanted to finish him off but Ada yelled

“William! That’s enough, you’ve got your fun now let me do my thing”

I was still very much angry but I sighed and stood aside as Ada came and used her powers to enter his mind, he screamed and as soon as Ada was done he took his final breath and died,

Ada looked at me and said

“I found out who tipped them off, take a wild guess”

As I was about to answer, we both heard a gunshot and we rushed out of the basement right into the street only to find Carlos men and Steven’s men having a shootout, it was bloody as everyone on the streets ran for safety, most bystanders where either killed or injured

“Jerry tipped them off, he must have tipped Carlos off as well telling him Tracy was a snitch sent by Steven, and told Steven she was sent by Carlos pitting the two Cartels against each other”

Ada said as I got furious and left, Ada didn’t even notice when I left her alone as she turned and didn’t see me, She decided to stop the shooting as she knew where I was going.

It was close to night time as I got to Jerry’s house but he wasn’t there, I heard the sound of a car driving away from the house as I ran outside, I knew it was Jerry as he was just leaving, I memorized his plate number and called a friend of mine to help track it.

He got back to me with the location of the car and I went there, it was night time when I got to the place, it was an abandoned factory, I got off my car and got into the factory,

Seems like the factory was still connected to the power grid as most of the lights were on, I was searching each section of the factory and when I got to a point, Jerry was about to make a turn as he saw me, he was holding a bag of cash

“Oh, it’s you, the FBI agent, you must have found out I tipped both sides off, but you must understand it had to be done, those two cartels must be destroyed”

He said as I looked at him and asked

“Why Tracy?”

“Tracy was a very useful asset, I’m sorry if she ended up dead but I needed someone to spark the flames of war and she was the answer”

“So she was just a pawn in your bloody game”

“Yeah I guess she was, but you gotta understand, I did this for society and also for a bit of something in my pocket”

He said as he raised the bag up then he looked at me and asked

“I could give you a cut if you keep your mouth shut but for an FBI agent you’re too invested in this, it’s like you’re taking it too personal, why is that?”

“Because I’m not an FBI agent”

“Oh well, that’s too bad”

He said as he brought out his gun and shot me three times but I healed as the bullet just fell off, I raised up my head towards him as my eyes glowed white and I said

“You shouldn’t have done that”

I got so angry and white vains came all over my body, I raised my hands as I blasted a white colored energy beam at him, he dodged as he ran away, I followed him but it seemed like my energy caused an EMP that shut down the power of the factory as the lights turned off, it was just my aura radiating the hallway,

Jerry found a way to run out of the factory but as he got into his car, he turned it on but it didn’t work, he tried all he could but nothing was working, I came outside as he saw me,

He want out of his car and started shooting at me but my healing powers kicked in as every gunshot wound was healed instantly, I blasted his car with an energy beam as the explosion sent him flying, he fell to the ground as I walked towards him,

He broke his ankle when he fell so he couldn’t get up and as I came towards him, he started begging for me to spear his life but I was consumed by anger so I grabbed him and raised him up and by accident I released a huge wave of energy from my body that caused the factory to explode,

Jerry was killed instantly as I was holding his burnt corpse, I quickly let go as soon as I realized what I’ve done, I didn’t mean to kill him even if I wanted to, as I was wallowing in my thoughts, Ada showed up as she walked out of a portal,

She immediately saw Jerry’s burnt corpse and saw my eyes as they were still glowing, although my aura had stopped glowing, she just looked then said

“We gotta get outta here”

She opened up a portal as we both walked into it.

The portal brought us to Ada’s unstable pocket dimension as I just sat on the floor, there was an earthquake but I wasn’t bothered by it, I looked at Ada and said

“I just killed a man, I’ve never killed anyone before, I never knew that the glow was this destructive, I didn’t mean to kill the bastard, at least not yet”

“I told you that you’re more powerful than you know, there’s a lot about your powers you still don’t know”

“Then bloody tell me! Stop keeping me in bloody suspense and tell me what I need to know!”

I yelled at her angrily and she just looked at me and said

“All in due time but for now, we’ve gotta cover your tracks, we wouldn’t want anyone finding out about this”

She said as she opens up a portal and said

“I’ll be back”

And then she walks into it as the portal closed, leaving me in the pocket dimension, I just sat down wondering what’s next.
