At the Imperial Crown Hotel, an old man with a powerful aura was seen rushing into one of the VIP suites, sweating profusely and panting heavily.

This man was none other than Andre, the patriarch of the Kim family.

He was one of the few fortunate leaders of the top families in Estava who had been given the chance to welcome the God of War to the land.

Unfortunately, he was still a long distance away when information reached him that the God of War was not interested in seeing any of them.

The fear of offending the mighty God of War consumed Andre to such an extent that he ran with all his strength, barely realizing when he reached the VIP suite of his hotel.

"Welcome, Mr. Kim!"

"Congratulations on meeting the God of War today and securing his attendance at your grandson's wedding ceremony!"

"Hehe! If not the Kims, what other family is capable of inviting the God of War to their ceremony?"

Bernard, the head of the Scott family, who had been waiting for Andre in the VIP suite to get a business partnership signed, was all smiles as he flattered the old man while welcoming him.

Andre didn't even glance at Bernard.

He ignored him completely and walked past him to collapse onto a couch, still panting.

Not even then would Bernard remain quiet; he quickly spoke his mind to the old man.

"Mr. Kim, I am very sorry for troubling you. Could you please personally introduce me to the God of War once he arrives at the ceremony?"

Bernard still wore a smile as he made the request.

Andre responded with a look of disgust.

"You really think so highly of yourself, Bernard. Not even the wealthiest man in Estava was able to meet the God of War today, and you are here dreaming of a personal introduction. Keep dreaming," Andre hissed.

Oh, no!

Bernard panicked, fearing he had overstepped his bounds with his request.

He instantly changed his tone to one of total respect and said, "I am very sorry for crossing the line, Mr. Kim. Here is the contract, sir. You can just sign it, and I will take my leave immediately."

Bernard quickly placed the partnership file in front of Andre, hoping he would sign it before changing his mind.

"Are you forcing me to sign it?" Andre raised his voice.

"Never! I dare not, sir." Bernard forced a smile onto his face; he didn't want to meet with misfortune.

Andre glared at him one last time before slowly picking up the contract to review it before making a final decision.

...

In a large, well-decorated hall at the Imperial Crown Hotel, the wedding ceremony was about to begin.

The hall was filled with prominent families from abroad and many high-profile names in Estava.

At the center of attention was a spoiled young man, dressed in a well-tailored suit, sitting on a gigantic chair with a cocky smile on his face.

The young man was Gabriel Kim, the heir of the Kim family.

Gabriel turned to look in the direction of the unhappy yet beautiful Bianca, who was sitting with her parents, Joel Grey and Chloe Schmeichel. A wide, mocking smile appeared on his face as he muttered to himself.

"No one would have thought she was the bride of the day given how sad she looks. Hehe! What matters to me is that I finally have you after chasing you relentlessly for more than five years."

Joy spread through Gabriel's heart before he turned his attention to the stack of gifts being presented to him.

"Congratulations on this day, Mr. Kim Jr.! I present to you the latest Casio wristwatch; it cost seventy-five thousand dollars."

"Mr. Kim Jr., you have great taste in exotic wines. So, I made sure I searched all of Veloria to get you this Tignanello. It cost no less than fifty thousand dollars. I'm pretty sure you will love it."

"It's a truly happy day for you, Mr. Kim Jr. The Cytrus Corporation has decided to gift you the priceless and authentic Wedding Dance artwork by Pieter Bruegel..."

"What is all this crap?" Gabriel yelled as he stood up, his angry expression causing the whole hall to fall into a dead silence

"Step aside now if you know the gift you are presenting is not worth a million dollars!"

The crowd looked at each other in confusion, but no one said a word.

They thought gifts were supposed to be appreciated regardless of the cost—or weren't they?

Gabriel hadn't yet returned to his seat when one of their family butlers suddenly ran inside and announced, "Mr. Kim Jr.! A generous anonymous person has just sent you a special gift. It looks like it’s packed with treasure!"

The crowd's attention turned to the entrance in surprise as a well-wrapped, decorated package was carried into the hall by six strong men.

A happy smile appeared on Gabriel's face as the package was delivered before him. "Yes! This is what I'm talking about! This has to be a stack of gold. Haha!"

Gabriel could barely contain his excitement as he ordered immediately, "Unwrap it!"

The wrapping was ripped apart instantly, and what appeared before them was a large black coffin.

Where are you going?! What have you come here to do?!""Mom, I have come to see my wife. I can't leave her in this condition," Jason answered genuinely. His words were supposed to soften Chloe's heart; instead, they infuriated her further."First, I don't ever want to hear you call me Mom again! And secondly, Bianca was only your wife when you were alive. After you died, she moved on with her life. You have no business with her anymore!
