Chapter 3

What?!

The hall fell into a deep silence as everyone was completely stunned.

Gabriel's eyes turned red instantly and he yelled angrily.

"Who dared send a coffin to me on my wedding day?!"

The door to the hall was kicked open with a bang, and a calm, deep voice answered from the entrance.

"I sent it."

The voice drew the audience's attention, making them all turn to look in that direction.

Then, a tall, fearless man, dressed in a plain top and trouser appeared.

The air around him was magnificent and commanding.

The audience didn't want to believe their eyes at first.

Upon realizing who it really was, they all gasped for air.

"What? Jason Scott?!" A lady shouted from the crowd in great shock, and the wine glass in her hand slipped to the floor and shattered.

"That's impossible!"

"It's really him?!"

"A ghost?!"

The hall was thrown into instant turmoil.

The Grey family members all had their eyes widened in great shock, and their hearts were filled with panic.

The Jason they knew was announced dead five years ago.

Who the f*** is this person?

Bianca's heart paused at that moment. Her eyes could only stare blankly in total disbelief as Jason approached. It was as if she were dreaming.

Even though Jason was announced dead, she had refused to believe that the love of her life was truly gone.

Well, she was only hopeful then.

Setting her eyes on the man who had just walked in had thrown her mind into great chaos.

Jason was a few steps closer to Bianca when Gabriel finally regained his senses from the shock and screamed:

"Stop there! Where do you think you are going?! Was it really you who sent this coffin here?!"

Jason answered unworriedly, "Of course; the coffin is for whoever dares to stop me as I take my wife home."

"Rubbish!" Gabriel flew into a deep rage.

"You have been dead for five years; what made you think you could come in here now and take Bianca away?!"

Jason stopped in his tracks and answered Gabriel, "There's only one way for you to find out. Attempt to stop me."

Gabriel gritted his teeth in annoyance. He hated the confidence in Jason's statement.

Then, he said, "I will warn you for the last time to scram right now or blame yourself for the consequences if you refuse to listen."

Jason ignored Gabriel as if he were invisible, heading closer to his wife.

This prompted Gabriel to signal to the security guards in the hall, and they circled Jason instantly.

There were ten burly, strong men. Not only did they look intimidating, but they also looked desperate to break bones.

The leader of the guards said to Jason with a smug smile:

"Listen, ghost. We might make your punishment bearable if you fall before Mr. Kim now and bark like a dog."

Jason found such a statement disgusting as he answered, "Not even the head of the Kim family is worthy enough to bark before me."

What?!

The crowd was stunned. They couldn't understand where Jason had found such bravado.

Even the security guards were shocked at his courage.

Then, one of them answered Jason, "We really don't want to shed blood on this happy occasion, but you deserve nothing but death for being so careless with your mouth."

Instantly, the guards charged towards Jason, making Bianca's heart leap in fear.

She was about to scream and warn Jason to watch out when she saw an unexplainable scene unfold before her.

With just a wave of his hand, Jason sent all the security guards flying into the air.

The guards' bodies made a thump on the floor one after the other, crying in great pain as they broke their arms and legs.

Gabriel couldn't believe his eyes. He wondered how on earth that was possible.

The Jason he used to know was timid.

Where did he get this strength from now?

Gabriel had expected the guards to crush Jason like an ant. He felt embarrassed by the turn of events.

Angrily, he walked in front of Jason and said to his face:

"What if you have a little strength and beat up my guards?! It still doesn't change the fact that I will have your wife on my bed tonight and I will screw her so bad!"

Gabriel was maliciously licking his lips when a powerful kick suddenly hit his groin and sent him a few feet away.

His body hit the wall behind him hard, and he fell on his face, vomiting a mouthful of blood.

The crowd was shocked that Jason laid a hand on the golden child of the Kim family.

Was he out of his mind?

Gabriel's personal bodyguard, who was standing behind, suddenly charged towards Jason in great anger.

"What did you do to Mr. Kim?!" the bulky, dangerous-looking bodyguard questioned as he aimed a deadly punch towards Jason.

"If I were you, I wouldn't attempt to come closer," Jason warned, but it was too late for the bodyguard to listen.

In the blink of an eye, Jason grabbed the approaching bodyguard's arm and ripped it off his body. Blood splattered and messed up the hall.

"Ah!!"

The bold bodyguard screamed at the top of his voice as he watched blood gushing out of his ripped-off shoulder.

Jason tossed aside the severed arm as if it were nothing, throwing the entire hall into total disarray.

Some of the onlookers nearly collapsed from heart attacks at that moment.

They had never witnessed such a horrific scene in their lives.

They all scrambled out of the hall in great fear. Not caring that the place was being turned upside down, Jason strode toward his wife, who had remained frozen where she stood since he entered the hall, and said to her with a smile,

"Darling, I'm so sorry for being late. I know you have so many questions to ask me. I will explain everything to you when we get home. Let's go."

Bianca was the only person he cared about at that moment; everything else was irrelevant to him.

Jason was about to take his wife's hand when her knees suddenly went weak; she slumped and passed out instantly.
