Chapter Ten:

Eva Clark surprised Jackson at the door, giving him an invitation for her grandmother's birthday.

"I hope you'll attend the party; I'll be glad."

"Sure, I'll be the first to arrive," replied Jackson, deciding to go and engage with her, but he must first follow Emma.

"The evening came quickly, the time for Eva's grandmother's birthday."

Jackson arrived a little late to the party, where Victoria Stone, Michael Stone, and also Jason Kin were present.

"Hello, Jackson!"

"Hi!"

"Happy birthday to your grandmother."

"Thank you, Jackson."

"Close ones call me Jack."

Eva nodded, saying, "Okay, Jack."

Jackson handed Eva an envelope containing $50,000.

"This is a birthday gift; I wish her a happy year and many more years with you."

Eva was surprised, hesitating, "50,000 dollars, but that's a big amount."

Jackson added, "You must also buy a gift for yourself."

Eva was about to refuse the offer until Jackson spoke, "This is a gift, and you must accept it. Gifts given with love should not be rejected."

"I'll accept it this time, and I'll let my grandmother know about your gift, but there's also something important I need to tell you."

"Go ahead."

"You must be cautious and avoid unnecessary public appearances."

"Are you saying this because of Michael's threat?" "Don't worry; they are small rats that can't do anything."

Michael approached Jackson again, this time with less confidence but more fear, accompanied by his sister Victoria.

Jackson got closer to Victoria than necessary and whispered in her ear, "Thank you, because you made me know the truth about that betrayal."

Jackson left the party after receiving a message that his sister was coming to him.

Carolyn approached, followed by a group of armed men wearing the same suits with massive bodies. They headed towards Jackson, and Carolyn looked furious.

"Jack!"

Jackson smiled and replied, "Hello, my dear."

"Caroline, I told you I don't want anyone to know me. I'm hiding my true identity, and the reason I asked you to come and pick me up that day when I was released is that I didn't want them to send a fleet of cars and armed men to discover my true identity."

"Will you stay away from me like this? You haven't even returned to live with me in the palace!" Caroline shouted.

"I'll be back soon. I miss you, and I know you miss me, but can you wait a little? My mother, Caroline, our disappeared mother, must return."

"You must return to the palace now; Grandfather is waiting for you, and it's urgent."

Jackson made sure that something had happened, rushed with her at top speed, driving the car, followed by a fleet of cars, all under everyone's watchful eyes.

The car stopped in front of a large palace, probably the grandest palace there is. Jackson entered, remembering how he left it the last time. He recalled his quest for revenge, his father's wife who appeared unexpectedly and then disappeared, and, in the meantime, his grandfather wasn't present, and his father, responsible for all the property and wealth, acted on behalf of his grandfather.

"Hello, Grandfather."

"Welcome back, Jackson, to your home."

Jackson smiled forcefully, surveying the room to examine his father and the unknown woman who came to the palace.

"Welcome your son," his grandfather spoke, looking at Jackson's father.

"If he hadn't given him the right to our properties, I would have thrown him out again, once and for all."

"Behave when you speak in front of your father. Jackson is my grandson and the heir to our family."

Jackson smiled mockingly, "Grandfather has returned, and now everything related to Harrison is registered in my name. Show me how you'll kick me out, Father. As for my mother, I will find her and make you and that woman standing beside you pay the price."

"Are you threatening your father, Jackson?"

"My father ceased to exist the day I brought that woman into the house, the day I was thrown out with her, the day she worked on kidnapping my mother," Jackson yelled.

"Your mother is my daughter, and I won't allow anyone to get close to her. I will search for her, find her, and know the reason for her disappearance," he spoke affectionately.

Jackson shouted, "This time, I won't let a single ant go without consequences, Father."

"What... what... did Jackson save you from that huge John?" Victoria exclaimed in shock.

"Yes, my dear. He did. Everyone thought he was weak in the fight scene, but he surprised us with his fighting abilities," Emma said.

"It's Jackson Harrison, and I divorced him for that worthless Edward. I'm really too foolish," Emma said with regret.

"It's very good. I insulted him and humiliated him. How did I do that when he loved me? Surely, he won't leave me in my current state."

"But if he's so powerful, why did he pretend to be weak, working as a cake delivery boy?" Victoria asked.

"He probably has plans or something big in mind. Maybe our marriage is part of his plan!" Emma cried.

"He destroyed armed and trained men, and he's so strong that I never imagined. I've treated him horribly all along," Victoria reflected.

"I wonder who he is and what he wants. What is this man seeking revenge for?" Emma questioned.

Victoria asked, "But how did he live with you, and you didn't notice anything?"

Emma pondered, "When I was with Edward, when he caught me having sex with him, he said something like this!"

"What do you mean? I don't understand."

"Maybe Jackson told me that tomorrow everything would end. He said seriously that everything would be better tomorrow."

"Oh, dear! If only we knew... maybe there's another story we don't know!"

"This is indeed my end, Victoria. Jackson will take revenge on everyone. You don't know what he did to me. Was this just the beginning?" Emma exclaimed.

"But how did he become so strong suddenly and also intelligent? He became the vice president of Eva's company!" Victoria said.

"This is definitely not the same Jackson I married. This Jackson is different."

Victoria thought, "Emma, we need to uncover Jackson's secret and know who he is and his true identity."
