“You never told me about it. What's happened? How are you?” Jake enquired, with interest.

“I called her. She asked me if the accusations were true; I told her they were just false accusations. Ethan was levelling against me to bring me down.

She said Emily was very angry, but she had been talked into giving us a second chance.
