Chapter 8 - Kidnapping Aurora

Julian walked out of the cafe with heavy steps and an irritated feeling. Unexpectedly by Julian, it turned out that Hale was waiting for him in his private car. Julian approached Hale and then talked to him.

"How did Mr. Hale know I was here?" Julian asked with confusion, especially since he went out without anyone knowing.

"I will always know where and where my master is." Hale replied with a smile. "Are you ready to return home?"

Unexpectedly, Hale was not angry with Julian at all. Of course, Julian was his master so there was no way Hale would be angry with him. Julian had the freedom, the freedom to do anything.

"Thank you, Mr. Hale." Julian still seemed stiff to Hale especially since Hale was much older than him so Julian felt he had to respect him.

Julian got into the car and then Hale drove the car to the Montague mansion. Hale stopped the car in front of the front door of the mansion and opened it for Julian. Julian stepped out and walked to the front door while waiting for Hale to park the car for him.

"Mr. Julian doesn't have to wait for me." Hale told him with politeness and a friendly smile.

"That's fine, I'd like to go in together with you." Julian gave a simple reason why he wanted to wait for Hale. "Actually, I have something to tell you. Ah, no, I want to ask you a favor."

"Whatever it is, sir."

Hale and Julian entered the house while heading to the living room. Julian sits on the sofa while Hale stands next to the sofa that Julian is sitting on. Julian looked at Hale and asked her to sit down and chat with him.

"Sit down, Mr. Hale." Julian pleaded.

"No, I'm standing. I'm used to this," Hale explained the reason why he didn't want to sit down with Julian.

"Oh, okay." Julian nodded his head even though he did not understand the essence of Hale's words. "Mr. Hale, I would like to ask your opinion on something."

Julian positioned his body comfortably and faced Hale. Julian was used to staring at his interlocutor because it just felt more polite, in his opinion. However, it actually made Hale chuckle a little with the behavior shown by Julian. Julian did not bother and continued his sentence.

"Can I say this?" Julian thought for a moment and turned to Hale. "Am I allowed to discuss my personal problems with you, Mr. Hale?"

Hale, who stood with his hands clasped in front of his body while lowering his gaze, smiled slightly. "Whatever it is, go ahead sir as long as you are comfortable when discussing it."

"Okay, fine. So, I'm married to Mr. Kingsley's daughter Aurora." Julian immediately said everything without a second thought. "Just now, I saw Mr. Kingsley and he asked me to sign the divorce papers."

Hale listened carefully without giving any response. Hale waits for Julian to stop talking and gives him a chance to respond. That's what Hale had been doing all this time with Lord Michael Montague.

"To be honest, Aurora and I still love each other and I'm sure she doesn't want this divorce either." Julian continued with a sad face. "However, I've signed it out of compulsion. Now, I don't know how to get back together with Aurora. Does Mr. Hale have any suggestions for my problem?"

Julian looked at Hale and hoped that Hale would be able to help him solve this problem. Hale thought for a moment and digested all the stories told by Julian. Hale tried to be careful when giving responses so as not to offend Julian.

"So, you want to get back together with Mrs. Aurora again?" Hale reaffirmed Julian's words.

"Yes, that's right. But, unfortunately Mrs. Kingsley has also set Aurora up with Lucas, Mr. Beaumont's son." Julian added new information to his story.

"If I may know, where is Mrs. Aurora now? Is she still in the hospital?"

"That's right." Julian nodded his head even though he himself was not sure where Aurora was.

"I have an idea, but I'm not sure if you like it or not."

"What is it? Just tell me, Mr. Hale." Julian was curious as he looked at Hale with both eyes twinkling.

"What if we bring Mrs. Aurora into this mansion?”

“What do you mean by bringing Aurora here?” Julian looked confused.

"Yes, we brought Mrs. Aurora to this mansion secretly." Hale tried to elaborate on his words. "We roughly kidnapped Mrs. Aurora."

Julian who heard Hale's idea was a little shocked but he also tried to consider Hale's idea. Hale who gave the idea also felt anxious whether Julian would accept his idea or scoff at it. Hale could only wait for Julian's decision and response.

"Is that possible for us to do?" Judging from Julian's response, it seemed that Julian agreed with Hale's idea.

"Of course, sir." Hale assured Julian that he could do it.

"Hm, alright. But what if Mr. Kingsley finds out that I kidnapped Aurora?" Julian had his own fears.

"I won't, I'll try to do it neatly, sir."

Julian let out a long sigh as he leaned his body against the back of the sofa. Julian thought once more and weighed all the risks he might face. Julian was still not used to his current life.

"Sir, remember you already have everything. So, you can do and get whatever you want." Hale tried to remind Julian that his position this time was different. "One more thing, sir. All the businesses of the conglomerates, such as the Beaumont, Kingsley, Cavendish, and Vanderbilt families are in your hands."

"Is that so? So, if I make a decision it will affect their business as well?"

"That's absolutely right, sir.” Hale nodded his head.

“Alright, then let’s do it!” Julian made a decision to kidnap his wife.

“Okay, sir.”

“When do you want to do it, Mr. Hale?” Julian took a look at him, one more time.

“Tonight.” Hale answered it firmly.
