A grand master? And heir? Alexander was still surprised at how much he'd forgotten his childhood days. Vague memories sometimes left him confused at night, he'd been too young to recall everything but he could remember Pa Harry as clearly as he did his parent's faces.

"What happened that night? What happened to my parents?" He asked, the one thing he'd asked himself for many years years without any answer.

The old butler sighed and shook his head, "It is an ugly memory even I do not want to relive, please, don't ruin a pleasant day with it, all you need to know is that you're safe now and the empire needs you," the old man said, excitement clearly on his face. Just then, he pulled out a golden token, much like what the guards had demanded at that entrance of the estate. "Here's the supreme royal token, it will get you whatever you want," he explained.

Alexander took it, it was heavy and clearly looked like it had been crafted out of a pure good bar. Just then, his phone vibrated and he pulled it out of his pocket. Looking at the screen, he gasped, he had just received an alert of $100 million. "How?" He asked the old man with wide eyes.

"That's for your minor expenditure, young master, don't worry, once the Sean empire fortune is unlocked, this will be a tip for the servants," he said apologetically. But Alexander was overwhelmed. He'd never seen such money in his life, much more in his own possession. He nodded slowly.

"Let me have your room ready, young master," Harry said and made to walk away but Alexander stopped him. It was all too sudden, he needed time to take it all in. After all, he hadn't been at the Sean mansion for two decades, he couldn't think of sleeping there, not yet.

"I need some time to take this all in," he said, and Harry nodded in understanding, "Plus, I have some unfinished business before I am ready to take my place."

"Whatever you want, young master, we will be ready to receive you, please don't take too long," he said and bowed as Alexander promised to return soon and then left the estate.

Harry gave Alexander one of the Bentley's to take him anywhere he wanted and he was also assigned two guards and one driver to him. One of the guards suggested that they lodge at the best hotel in the city for the night. They arrived at the Continental Hotel, it was the biggest hotel in the city and only the rich and famous lodged there.

Alexander needed a place to clear his head, a place to think and figure out the next phase of his life. The guard opened the door for him and he walked into the hotel lobby. He went directly to the receptionist. She had a nasty look on her face as she looked at his plain clothes and ssid, "Deliveries aren't allowed in this hotel, you'll have to leave your package with the doorman."

The guard behind him clenched his teeth and wanted to teach her a lesson for disrespecting his master but Alexander held him back. "I'm not here to make a delivery, I'm booking for ghs night," he said.

The receptionist laughed, she rolled her eyes and asked him sarcastically, "Let me guess, the top floor?" And as Alexander nodded, she laughed harder. "You're a pathetic liar, no one but the supreme royal families get on the top floor," she snapped and then pointed at the exit, "Get out of here before I call the security to throw you out!"

"Isn't that your loser ex?" Alexander heard someone say from behind him and he turned. It was Fiona and her new toy. Fiona's eyes narrowed as she saw him. "Are you following me?" She asked angrily.

"I bet he is, what else would he be looking for in the Continental Hotel? This ain't place for men of his...category," the man beside her mocked.

Fiona pulled out her phone immediately and called the manager of the place, "There's a loser here that is making a scene at the reception, come at once and have your men throw him out else I'll leave!" The manager begged her and promised to be down in a minute.

"I told you to leave, now you've gotten in trouble, you loser," the receptionist said, laughing at him. Fiona crossed her hands, knowing that the manager would give Alex what he deserved.

Shortly, the manager came down to the lobby and asked what the matter was. "He's following me and posing to book a room," Fiona said and her new lover, Sam agreed.

"What do you want, sir? You can't disturb my prestigious clients or I'll have to throw you out!" The manager snapped. Alexander remained calm and asked why Fiona and Sam were there.

"I decided to take her to a nice place and spoil her, something you've never been able to do," Sam replied condescendingly. The manager added, "They've booked the exclusive restaurant for the night, you can't make them upset!"

"I want that reservation canceled and the restaurant serving only me for the entire week, also, I want the grand suite on the top floor," Alexander said.

The manager stared at him like he'd grown a second head. "Are you insane? Did you drink before coming here? Only the Supreme royals can make such demands, how dare you try to prank us!" He snapped and called the guards to take Alexander out.

Two men immediately matched to the scene and Fiona laughed heartily, "That's what you deserve for trying to ruin my evening," she spat.

One of the men tried to hold Alex but his guard stopped them and right then, Alexander nodded at the guard beside him who pulled out the token and handed it to the manager. The man gasped, his eyes widening in shock as he got on his knees and bowed, his hands shaking.

"I'm so sorry, grand master, pardon my mistake," he begged.

Everyone was shocked.

The fire and fight visibly drained out of Margaret and she sagged on the floor, laying the hammer down and raising her hands in surrender. The guards got to her and grabbed her by the arm, hurling her up from the floor and steadying her. It was right then that the waterworks began. Margaret began to cry fiercely, asking for Alexander's forgiveness. "Please, you said we could sorry this out, you said you'd wave it away like it never happened. I know that you're the young master, please help me!" She begged, sobbing and struggling against the guard's grasp. Alexander looked at her, he couldn't believe how easily it had all gone south. His office was a mess, he'd just accused the secretary wrongly and now he was going to have to send someone to jail and he wasn't even a month old in the company yet. "You brought this on yourself, Margaret, you have to take responsibility for it," he replied plainly. She shook her head and kept crying, "You said I should step away, you promise

At that moment, Margaret realized that someone else was in the office and she froze. Her eyes widened as she saw Pamela and Alexander and she quickly jumped down from the chair, landing on the floor and twisting her ankle. She cried out and held onto the table for balance. Alexander was a little too stunned to say anything, he simply looked at her, he just couldn't believe his eyes. No more was the timid and meek woman he saw at the office every other day, dressed in moderate clothes and acting like she couldn't look anyone in the eyes. In her place was a woman that looked fierce enough to take down both of them in a blink. She was breathing heavily through him enough, her hair was a mess of cobwebs and she was drenched in sweat. "What are you doing here, Margaret?" Alexander asked, his voice low, disbelieving, disappointed. Margaret didn't look remorseful at all, she sneered at him instead. "What do you think I'm doing? Of course I'm taking what I want!" She snapped. Pame

At the top floor, Alexander walked as stealthily as he could, making his way down the hallways quietly, he turned to the left where the cafeteria was nestled before the main offices. He couldn't see anyone in sight. Usually, no one was ought to be in the office before 7:00 a.m. There was no staff who would come so early unless they had ulterior motives or a job to complete. The security down stars most have given Pamela access because she was a staff and it didn't matter how early she wanted to come to the company, she was an important person there had no one could stop her - especially when they all knew she was the one making the payroll and decided who should be fired and who stays. Alexander crept up the hallway and walked slowly to the office line up but he suddenly bumped into someone on his way. The hallways were still dark and that meant whoever was there had left the lights off to avoid being seen and turned on the light only in his office to go through his files. S

The accountant in his office was shaking like a leaf. Alexander had been questioning him for the last thirty minutes and although the man said the same thing, he was visibly nervous and would rather be anywhere but there. "You're sure you have never missed a few transactions? Huh?" He asked again and the old man shook his head. "No, sir, all I have to do is redirect into the company's account and then the auditors bring an inventory of all our equipment and whatever other expenditures there are for the month. I've never missed any record," he said, his tone pleading. Alexander was not a bully. As a matter of fact he'd been at the other end of that stick for quite a while to know not to treat someone else like that. As much as he wanted to get the culprit and bring justice, he wasn't willing to bully someone into admitting it when it really wasn't them. At that point, after a few hours in the air conditioned room and still managing to break into sweat, Alex was sure the accoun

Margaret's breath might have stopped for a while as Alexander spoke. Her eyes widened and she began to fidget. Her heart was hammering in her chest like she was going to have a seizure soon. "Are you okay?" Alexander asked her and she nodded but she looked anything but. Her face was red and she was visibly hyperventilating. "Take a seat, is everything okay?" He asked, concerned with her sudden reaction. Margaret nodded and grabbed into the edge of the table, slowly lowering herself to the seat. "I've been...it's..." She stammered but Alexander cut her in. "Calm down, I know that you just took over from Simon and all and you don't really know everything about the records but I think you can help," he said and she kept on staring at him like something was wrong. "I asked you the other day and I think you wanted to say something but there were too many faces, could you say it now?" He asked and she hummed. "Come on, Margaret, don't be afraid, is there anyone suspecting you might

Alexander was oblivious to the plans of his in-laws against him. Not only had Grace found a way to get his attention but she was going to set about it in the worst method possible. Fiona didn't want to be a part of it because she was still ashamed of how it had gone down the last time at the police station with Uncle Benson but Grace was a little more optimistic. She had crafted out a cruel scheme that had to work one way or the other. Alexander showed up at work the next day, he had a few investors to meet from Germany and he was very pleased to receive them. Not only was he trying to grow the company but he was trying to get some connections for himself too. Miss Pamela had oddly been unavailable since the phone call at the storage room that day and although the P.A mentioned that she had called in sick, Alexander didn't believe that at all. It was about 10 o'clock when Margaret tapped on his office door and told him that the investors were down stairs and ready to meet with
