As the fight below rages, the fight at the surface was no difference. It is much worse actually. The dragons have already killed 200 heroes with its overwhelming powers, but they died without regrets as they died being a hero to protect the people they swore to always defend and save. Ian is now fighting the dragons without any results at all. He is just striking it with lightning even though the dragons are immune to it as they literally can control the weather and perform natural disasters on a whim. But the thing that pisses Ian off, is the fact that the dragons are laughing at them. As it only views the brave heroes as mere ants meant to be stepped on. And it was an insult to the deaths of hundreds of heroes just to stop them. Ian then struck multiple lightning at the beast, then the vice commander David shot bullet rocks at it. However, the dragons just laughed it off. And that is another thing that surprised them all. These dragons can speak like normal humans do.
