Fiona was all dressed up in her formal attire, her hair flowing freely. She looked so beautiful and classy. The woman looked up at Samuel. The two of them standing facing each other seemed very contrasting.

"Samuel, I have to go.  Don't forget what I said before."

Samuel nodded his head. "Yes, don't worry. I remember it."

Fiona said nothing else. She walked away and disappeared behind the door.

"Is that bastard still in his room? Where's my breakfast?" His mother-in-law's voice sounded so loud from outside.

Samuel had gotten used to the shouting. He had no choice but to approach his mother-in-law. Once they were face to face, he said, " Mom, I'll make breakfast for you right away."

Emma gave him a sharp glance. "Do I have to yell to get my breakfast?" her loud voice snapped at Samuel.

"Mom, I will prepare it quickly." Samuel walked away from his mother-in-law. He didn't want to waste too much time listening to his mother-in-law's ramblings.

This time, he chose to make pancakes for his mother-in-law. In just 30 minutes, everything was on the table. When everything looked perfect, Samuel came back to Emma.

"Mom, breakfast is ready."

After serving the food on the table, Samuel quickly walked away and got ready. He changed his appearance more neatly, and he had to leave.

But when he passed the dining table, Emma stopped his steps.

"Wait!"

Samuel stopped, turning his head towards his mother-in-law. But this time, he saw that Emma was looking at him sarcastically.

The old woman reached into her pocket and threw a piece of money to Samuel. "Buy me some steamed buns," she said.

Samuel sighed as the money fell to his feet. It looked painful, but he didn't want to make trouble by refusing to take it.

"I'll buy it for you, mom."

After a while, Samuel came to hand Emma a package of bread. "This is the steamed bun you wanted."

Emma took it roughly: "What are you waiting for? Go away. The sight of your face just makes me sick."

Emma saw something different from Samuel. The old woman frowned, noticing Samuel's neat appearance. "Where are you going? Don't spend my daughter's money running around like a street dog." Her voice sounded sarcastic.

Samuel turned his head with a cold face.  "Mom, I'm going to work."

For a moment, Emma was silent. But afterward, she couldn't stop herself from laughing. She knew that Samuel had only been doing construction work. But he looked as if he had worked in a prominent place.

"Do builders nowadays have to wear neat shirts?" Emma laughed out loud again. "I'm sure you've been dreaming of becoming a foreman."

Samuel did not say anything else. He swallowed the insult and left before hearing his mother-in-law's arguments or curses again.

He did not want to waste too much time. He had to go to Medco.inc. He had also promised to meet Fiona there. Samuel left the house, padding until a familiar luxury car pulled beside him.

Samuel stopped his steps when he saw the man he had previously met at Justin's house get out of his car. As they faced each other, the man bowed before him.

This was awkward for Samuel. But he emphasized to himself that it was a normal thing to do to an heir.

"Mr. Samuel, I have been watching you. Why did you do all that?" Adam's face showed seriousness.

Samuel showed his calm face. "This is my usual routine." Samuel showed no burden on his face, but this time, his forehead was filled with frowns. "Why are you here?"

"You said that you don't want to attract attention, so I guess this is a safe place, " the man replied politely.

Samuel just nodded his head. He wondered if Adam hadn't forgotten anything he'd said. Adam deftly opened the car door politely for him. He quickly got in before anyone could see him.

After a while, the car stopped at a large, towering building. She even had to look up to see the whole thing. He marveled at everything that was before him.

Samuel swallowed. "Is this the building? It's really incredible."

Adam nodded his head, but he didn't quite agree with Samuel's words. He said, "Mr. Samuel, this is even a small building compared to the others."

Adam's reply shocked him. He had judged this building to be an enormous building. But how could Adam just say that it was a small building? He couldn't imagine how extraordinary it would be. The service he would be working in.

"Mr. Samuel, everything has been prepared for you. Please come in." Adam held out his hand and invited Samuel to come inside.

They walked together to enter. However, Adam remembered that an important meeting was to be held at Medco.inc.

Adam didn't want the meeting to interrupt Samuel's time, so he ordered Samuel to go to another room.

"Mr. Samuel, there is a meeting currently taking place. You can go to the Lotus room."

"I have to go for some work. Call me if you need help." Adam nodded his head until they parted ways there.

Samuel cast his eyes around. He still remembered Adam's mention of the Lotus room, and he made his way to it. It wasn't difficult for him to find it.

At this moment, he could see Fiona in the same building. That made him feel happy. Samuel was sure that his arrival there would also impress Fiona.

Samuel walked away from Fiona's approach. His expression turned cold when he saw another man walking towards his wife.

For a moment, he stopped but realized that Fiona and the man were arguing.

"What's going on?" his brow furrowed. But he was sure that something serious was going on.

"Can't you stop yourself from walking away as we speak, Miss Fiona?" The man spoke with a sharp gaze.

"I already told you that I have a lot of complicated work. Let me go."  Fiona was just about to turn around, but the man stopped her.

"You're terrible at your job. You won't be able to do anything without me." He smiled dismissively at Fiona.

"Everyone knows that you can't work properly without me, " she patted her chest with a confident smile.

Samuel's gaze turned cold, knowing someone had belittled his wife. Samuel wasn't going to let the argument continue. He called out to his wife. "Fiona?"

Fiona turned her head, hearing a familiar voice. She was pretty surprised by her husband's arrival. She remembered him saying that he was going to work at Medco. Inc., but she didn't expect him to actually be here.

But right now, the man before her had an angry look. Thinking that Samuel's arrival would only interrupt their conversation. "We haven't finished talking yet, Miss Fiona."

Samuel glanced at him, his gaze very cold.  "There is no need to talk about unimportant things with unimportant people."

Samuel's words offended Anthonio. He wrung his hands in irritation. How dare a stranger insult him.  "Who are you? How dare you interfere with our problems!"

Samuel did not let go of his cold gaze. He realized that the man was overseeing him. But he quickly introduced himself. "I'm Fiona's husband."

Samuel's words surprised Anthonio. He immediately assessed Samuel's bad appearance. He was even sure that the shirt he was wearing was only around $20. This shirt, which was completely inappropriate for him to wear to Medco, Inc., made him want to laugh.

Anthonio was not at all surprised about Fiona's husband's poor appearance. Even the news of Fiona marrying a poor man had spread widely. And Anthonio had no idea that Fiona's husband was even dumber than he imagined.

Anthonio knew that he was standing and dealing with a loser. Knowing that fact, he didn't want to leave any chance of not mocking him. "So you're Fiona's jobless husband?" He laughed at him.

"You shouldn't show your face here. Did you just come to embarrass your wife?" Anthonio emphasized his sentence. He knew he could find Fiona's weakness from there.

"You shouldn't have come here." He wanted to laugh at Samuel's confidence. Even their current appearances were in stark contrast. Until he immediately showed his strong side in front of Samuel to insult him. "You know, I am the Manager here."

Samuel looked at him calmly. He knew that, and he also knew that the position was, of course, still below him. No one knew that he was currently the owner and heir of Medco, Inc.

Samuel gave a slight grin. As the owner of this place, he knew about the man. "A manager like you has no mind at all. You even make a lot of mistakes."

Anthonio's anger peaked when he heard the insult directly from Samuel. "How dare you say that? You're just a man who doesn't know anything. An ignorant man like you shouldn't open any voice. And you don't deserve to insult me!"

Anthonio's face turned red. The insults from the poor man were truly delightfully irritating to him.

Samuel simply exhaled. After understanding a few things from the document he received yesterday, Samuel realized many mistakes made by the man. "You said that with confidence. But you should know how to rethink your strategy."

"Isn't it because of your strategy that the stock price has dropped so much?" Samuel emphasized what he knew there.

Anthonio was shocked. He didn't expect that the man would dare to mention his performance. He only knew that Samuel was a poor, stupid man. "How can you know everything?" But he immediately closed his mouth involuntarily.

Samuel chuckled, seeing the man's confusion. "It's an easy thing for me to know." Afterward, he showed his sharp eyes. "Instead of you being busy taking care of someone's wife, it would be better if you took care of the meeting about to take place."

Anthonio was still filled with confusion. He returned his attention to Samuel carefully, realizing that the man had just come to this place and he shouldn't know anything. But from his demeanor and speech, it was as if he already knew a lot of what was going on. He soon found out that this was probably just a coincidence.

But before he could say anything, Samuel looked back at him and spoke, "You'd better prepare yourself. You might get into trouble."
